Great job professional
Within 48 hours of initial contact I had a visit, followed quickly by a quote for the work. The installers were very respectful of my property, made minimum mess & consulted me on a couple of aesthetic points before carrying out the work. I am delighted with the result & can’t recommend SD Electrics enough.
I rang SC Electrical Contracting Ltd for a quote on the labour of fitting my EV Charger which I purchased myself and spoke to Steve who was very professional in handling my call and I described my situation and explained what I needed doing and advised me on certain things and gave me Provisional quote because he hasn’t visited the property to quote me exactly and the provisional quote was very cheap compared to other companies I have been ringing, as I didn’t want to waste his time I asked Steve if someone can come down and provide me a definite price and not a provisional price so he sent his contractor down and he assessed the work and once he got back to the office he’d tell Steve to send me a new quote for the job and once the quote was received the price had gone up slightly due the length of the EV cable from the meter to my EV charger but I rang Steve to discuss the quote and he agreed a price which we agreed with and booked me in the following day for installation, the contractors arrived on time and did the job professionally and showed me how to use the app for my charger and I couldn’t be more happy with all the process, definitely will use this company again for any electrical job.
Quick response time if he missed your call. Steve’s a nice guy, very helpful and understanding of our macerator/kitchen fuse problem. Have definitely saved his number for future problems.
The installation of a new consumer unit and cable routing for electric shower was neat and tidy. Electrical installation was carried out in a professional manner by the team and I was kept well informed and advised by them regarding solutions to overcome minor difficulties in making my property compliant with the wiring regulations. I would be very happy to use this company again if / when the need arises.
I had my EV charger installed today and couldn't be happier. A massive thank you to Dalton, who did the installation — he was polite, tidy, and extremely helpful. He took the time to explain every step clearly, going above and beyond to make sure I understood everything. Dalton is a true credit to the team! Also a shout-out to Steve (the owner). I reached out with an enquiry, he came out the very next day, and within the hour I had a quote I was happy to accept. The whole process from quote to installation took just 2 weeks — fantastic speed and communication. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an EV charger. Professional, efficient, and brilliant service all round.
The sc electrical boys completely blew me away with their service I had a bit of routine maintainence and the professionalism from the two lads who came out (Ben and Oliver) were spectacular I would rate 6 starts if I could . Genuine recommendation would use again.
