Fortune Electrical is mostly recommended for electrical work, with reviewers often describing jobs done by Matthew. Several customers call the work professional and say they would use the business again. One reviewer says communication was good and the job was explained clearly. Another reports a serious problem: unfinished work, repeated overcharging, mistakes corrected by another electrician six times and an unsecured supply cable that caused a power loss.
Great service providers really appriciate
Had the best experience dealing with Matthew recently where he install a new EV Charger for me. I cannot recommend Fortune Electrical enough. Dealing with Matthew was a pleasure from start to finish. His response to my initial enquiry was excellent. He took the time to explain every small detail about the job and helped me to understand the process. His quote was very clear and reasonable and you basically get what you are paying for in the best manner possible.
Never use Matthew for your electric needs. Jobs are never finished properly and he will overcharge you at every opportunity. I have had to call in another electrician six times now to correct the mistakes he made. We have dimmer switches that won’t go above 5%, holes in walls , broken picture frames that were hidden from us and lights with no physical switch. Today we lost our upstairs lights because the power cable into the supply box had not been secured properly… massive health and safety risk. Avoid at all costs.
I recommend Fortune Electrical for all your electrical work. Matt, helped me so much during my home renovation project: he rewired the whole house and as well as suggested and implemented new technological trends into the project. Such as smart lighting and switches. He was very knowledgeable and committed to his duty. He went out of his way to help other builders in the project by lending his tools and opinion, which was appreciated. We wish him and his team good luck in all their future projects. Thanks Matt.
Fortune Electrical were a pleasure to do business with. I recommend them highly. A brilliant job was done fitting power and lighting to my new man shed. Totally reliable, friendly and helpful with advice too.
Love Fortune Electrical. They're always quick to respond. Quick to carry out the work and have very fair pricing. I would always recommend them 👍
Fantastic work completed by Matthew. Recommended!
I highly recommend Matthew for electrical work. Prompt, Professional, Polite, and Very Competitive. Also very accommodating, fitting the work in to suit our needs perfectly. One of the best businesses I have come across in Peterborough.
We had Matthew to upgrade our consumer unit. He and his work colleague were extremely polite and helpful. They carried out all the work very professionally and did not leave until they were sure we were satisfied with everything they had done. Would certainly recommend Fortune Electrical.
Had Matt over raising all sockets in our kitchen, fitting a new extractor fan, changing the light and safety checking the whole lot. Very professional and extremely talented at what he does. Also incredibly friendly and polite. Highly recommend him!
I cannot speak highly enough about Matthew and Dominic's team. They are incredibly professional, friendly, and attentive to our needs. They have successfully completed several projects in and around our house. Without a doubt, I would recommend them as the premier business in Peterborough.
Matt did all the electrics for our garage conversion and it is top notch! He fitted LED strips, new sockets, spot lights and fitted all to our fuse box, to be building regs compliant. All top end and right fancy - worth every penny.... especially if you are a keen gamer or techie

I used Fortune Electrical to conduct a landlord electrical installation (fixed wire testing) report, and was impressed by the thoroughness of the investigations into the safety of my electrical system. It has left me feeling confident that the property I let out is safe for the family that occupy it, for which they have my thanks. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
Matthew has done stellar work on wiring up our new kitchen extension, changing all sockets and switches around the house, changing our consumer unit, installing an EV charge point and many other small electrical jobs. He’s super professional, trustworthy and always ready to help. Will certainly be using his services again in the future. Thank you.
Very satisfied with the work completed. Matt went above and beyond and I would highly recommend him.
Very well priced. Very polite and on time and very good job! Highly recommend
Super professional, gave great advice on placement of new switches and light fittings. Recently bought the house and he very kindly checked to make sure the sockets were as they should be. (One socket was not earthed and he fixed that) was unbelievably tidy. Even set up a laser spirit level to make sure the new lights were even. Very happy!
Highly recommend Matthew at Fortune Electrical. Professional, trustworthy and very knowledgeable. Matthews customer service was outstanding, he was punctual and kept me informed on what he was doing. I wouldn’t hesitate in using him again for future work or recommending him very pleased with the work he did.
