Island Renewables Ltd

From the initial consultation to the final installation, the entire team was absolutely amazing! They were incredibly helpful and informative every step of the way. The installation team's workmanship was truly fantastic – so neat and tidy, you can tell they take real pride in their work. And the solar panels themselves are fantastic! They have a really nice, stylish, modern look and are already making a significant difference in our energy bills. Highly recommend.

Fabulous service and a competitive price. If you are on the island and looking for solar I would recommend these guys. Really know their stuff. Great kit installed in short order after we ordered. Extremely pleasant people to deal with in both sales and installation.

We had a 16 panel system installed a month ago and couldn’t be happier with the results. The installation process went exactly as planned and as discussed. The whole team were professional, friendly and respectful of our home. A special mention to Sarah in the office and Ben the electrician who went above and beyond to help with any questions or requests. A brilliant local company who I would highly recommend.

We had solar panels, home battery and EV charger installed by Island Renewables on our house, and the whole process has been completed brilliantly. From the initial contact to installation it has been a pleasure dealing with the team. Won’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking to have any renewables installed.

This company has been great from the very start. They are very professional and have wonderful staff who completed our job efficiently. I couldn’t believe how quickly our solar panels and battery were up and running. It was explained clearly how they worked and the backup for service and any questions I had is great. I would recommend island renewables every time. Thank you very much and will be in touch for my next product.

The staff at Island Renewables are so helpful and kind. They go above and beyond. I’m very happy with their service.

Absolutely superb...very efficient, knowledgeable and helpful. It's a pleasure to use Island Renewables, all the staff can't do enough to help. Certainly recommended by me.

I cannot fault these guys. They installed my PV / Battery system to perfection. Price wise they were competitive. Customer care was never lacking. Quality or work was excellent. Follow up support is also excellent. I'm very happy.

One month since Island Renewables fitted my Solar generation and EV charging system. Excellent service from first survey to project completion. One day to fit, one morning to commission, no mess excellent on site workers. System performs as per specification, free motoring for my EV and my monthly electricity bill has halved, would recommend Island Renewables and use again.

What a lovely bunch of people to deal with! Could not recommend more highly!!

Good people, good installation, good price

A thoroughly competent and trustworthy Company that knows its stuff. Flexible and professional, their fitters adapted their method of working in order to meet our particular needs and the peculiarities of our old house. The result of their work has been excellent, from the attic to the external ground floor attachment of a battery as is their follow up support to us when needed assistance. I believe that the very tight knit team has provided us with the best service available and I look forward to dealing with them in the future when new technology arises.

We were looking for an Island Company to install a solar panel system on our cottage. We contacted several companies and the one that stuck out by miles was Island Renewables Ltd. From the onset the idea of getting solar panels installed was seamless, from the first visit to when the installation was completed was excellent. The team that installed our system comprised of: Edd, Ben (electricians) and James and Jordan who installed the panels on the roof they were all excellent and a credit to the company. They installed 9 panels one 5kw battery and inverter in one day, the workmanship was excellent and nothing was too much for them. On completion of the installation Edd took us through the app to show us the capabilities and functions of the system. The team were punctual and very professional in carrying out their work - they also like their cake and tea! I fully recommend Island Renewables anytime for a solar installation. Not forgetting the team in the office Sarah and Toni who sorted out any queries we had, both of them were excellent too. A pity a few more Companies on the Island weren’t like this Company.

Excellent service from administration through to the installation day. Engineers just got on with the work and were remarkable tidy.

Dead happy with the job. Efficient, capable and they look after you.

I really love dealing with this company. After sending a query via email I recieved an immediate reply plus follow up phone call the next morning. Someone visited very happily altering their day to suit my availability. I just wish all companies were like this, good old fashioned service with a smile.

Fantastic service from start to finish. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. These guys are absolutely first class.

Had a problem with installation by other installer who had gone bust, these guys stood in and just simply resoved it. Brilliant, wish id used them for the installation. Such nice professional people from the 2 ladies in the office to the tech wizard who sorted out the prob. Well done all of you, thanks Have recommended you to friends thinking of going solar.

Have to give a shout out to these guys, who helped out with supplying fittings when the roofer messed up reinstating my panels after re-slating the roof.

I don't usually write reviews but I am very impressed with the workmanship, professionalism and tidiness that Island Renewables demonstrated whilst working on my property. I would absolutely recommend them to install your Solar Panel system.

We have had our solar + battery system in a month and have been really happy with the service received. From the initial survey from Russell through to the installation we have felt in good hands. The installation was quick and seamless and completed on the dates scheduled. Sarah, who manages the administration is very helpful and Ben, the electrician, has been happy to answer our post installation questions. It is reassuring to have a professional company when you are dealing with new (to us) technology. Thank you.

Just a short note to express how pleased we are with your service. From initial survey through to the install yesterday it must have been one of the nicest experiences ever. As you know the Isle Of Wight is littered with poor workmanship and poor customer service, but you folks are the other end of the scale! The lads yesterday were exceptional, good to chat to and had a laugh whilst getting the job done! Ed was brilliant and his explanation of the system goes to show both he and Ben have a thirst for this type of electrical work. We will have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone who asks. Thanks again

What can I say?! WOW! We had a very confusing issue with our solar panels which were installed by another company. One call to Island Renewables and I was met by the lovely Sarah. Sarah was absolutely incredible, she listened carefully to my problem, asked the right questions and then organised a visit from the electrician. Ed and Brad arrived on time, friendly and fully equipped. They gained access to the loft and identified the issue quickly, which they rectified then and there. After I told them I had absolutely no understanding of the solar panels system, Ed took his time and explained everything I needed to know. He patiently went through every aspect and gave me tips to maximise my usage. They fixed the problem within minutes and we've had no problem since. The professionalism, kindness and care this company have provided are second to none. Sarah in particular is an absolute asset to the business, her calls were filled with laughter and friendly support. I have been on the island for over 5 years and this is without a doubt the best company I have encountered yet. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone! Fantastic job Island Renewables, you show the rest of them how it should be done. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

First response at their office was good explaining different options, the asked for a quote of solar panels. No response, called twice, went back into office and just gave me excuses. Poor service!

Island Renewables fitted my solar PV system in January 2022. Prior to ordering the system they took the time to find out what I wanted from the system and then put a plan in place to achieve those objectives. They explained what they were going to do and the timetable for fitting. I knew very little about solar and they went out of their way to answer all (and there were many!!) of my questions. On the install day they turned up on time, were very respectful of my house, cleared up afterwards and it was all completed in less than a day. I found the company to be very professional, they communicated very clearly and are excellent value for money. The team are experts in renewable energy. Customer service is great too. I have decided to add on a battery and they have been very helpful in organising that as well. Highly recommend this company. Oh, and in 10 weeks I've reduced my carbon footprint by 1.11 Tons. I'm going to ask them about Air Source Heat Pumps next!

Good value for money, very professional team, got on with the job in hand even though it rained one day, always very clean and tidy, I would thoroughly recommend this company to anyone, well done island renewables

Very efficient. I was impressed.

Completed instillation of full system at both the visitor and production site of The Garlic Farm. Job was done on time, to a competitive budget and with brilliantly efficient communication. First class!

A small but good team that get the job done. Efficient and tidy work , good value for money

I could not recommend Island Renewables more highly. The service from start to finish has been absolutely phenomenal: from the initial contact, email responses, site visits, fitting and after service care it has been perfection. The entire team are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and so responsive. If all services were like this my goodness life would be easy! Seriously impressive. Thank you for being so brilliant.

Received really great advice (from Scott) when I first rang Island Renewables. He talked through the options available and didn't try to flog me the most expensive option (like the two other island companies I had tried first). They were efficient and professional and worked round our building work brilliantly. Communication was always excellent. Our solar panels work wonderfully, provide us with free daytime electricity and are heating our hot water tank too. I cannot recommend highly enough!

A great little company, super efficient, friendly and reliable. Already had to recommend them for their great service. We are currently enjoyed free electric most days....yaaay

We are delighted with the work island renewables have carried out for us. They arrived on time and we're clean tidy and professional, we have no hesitation in reccomending them to other people.
