Moat Building Services Ltd

Moat were assigned to me as an approved installer for my WIckes supplied bathroom. Following a last minute cancellation by Moat of the planned installation date - leaving me to store all of the bathroom materials and equipment that had been delivered by Wickes for a two week period - I encountered significant delays in the completion of the works, poor workmanship, disruption and damage to other parts of my home throughout the 4-months that it took for them to complete the work to a relatively small bathroom. Moat could not rectify a persistent leak from the newly installed sink, despite being given the opportunity to remedy, leaving me to rectify it myself to prevent further damage being caused to the newly installed cabinet beneath. Moat confirmed in a written communication to me that a member of Moat’s staff had filmed me inside my own home and without my knowledge or consent. All of the above are factual matters and I would be happy for Moat to explain what points they consider are not justified instead of continually seeking to remove this review.

Moat Building services are a fantastic company to use for your projects. I would highly recommend them, will definitely be using them again. Very tidy, professional, and polite.

The team at Moat completely rebuilt my roof in record time. High end finish at a competitive rate. Top work.

Great company to work with; skilled team and very good communications with Matt. Always able to come up with solutions to any practical challenges and we are still really pleased with the quality and appearance of the building work two years on.

Great team to work with. Professional, friendly and helpful throughout. Love our new extension and wetroom, designed for person with reducing mobility. Thank you Moat.

Excellent builders. Prompt completion of works and site left tidy. Quality of work excellent.

Moat Building Services have done a few jobs for us now and each time have produced top quality work. From start to finish, they are a delight to work with and go out of their way to ensure you're happy. Quite rightly, they are proud of their work and it shows.

Matt and the team did a great job of quoting our extension, they were on time and delivered top quality service. We are planning to have the extension done with Moat in 2021 and they were one of just a few builders who could be bothered to quote. Matt also managed to come and fix my front steps after an accident with a van! He quoted quickly and made them safe in a matter of just a week.
