Very professional installation. The installer had a great idea as to where to position the charging cabinet so as to fit in with the existing electrical infrastructure of the home. Fast, clean work. Would definitely recommend.

Installer Nick called to let me know what time was arriving and turned up on time. Did a great job and looks so neat and tidy even managed tk get the CU in the meter box then re-layed my stone pebbles that I had moved to allow cable to be hidden. Tidied up afterwards as well. Did a lot better job than my solar guys did.

Following a site survey, the installer arrived on the day and listened to our requirements, then explained the process involved. Our EV charger was installed efficiently within a few hours and we were taken through the operating procedures afterwards. Ten minutes later, we were charging! On 26/12/2025 Ryan resolved a fault on our myEnergi Zappi EV charger. Besides replacing the cable he diagnosed an earth fault and made wiring changes at the consumer unit and charger. Throughout he kept me fully updated. Perfect. Thank you.

From ordering the charger to booking the installation, the company were very thorough and ensured that all information was received by them so not to waste either parties time. I’ve just had my Anderson Quartz charger fitted by EV Domestic and couldn’t be happier! The whole process was smooth from start to finish. The office team made getting a quote really easy, and Danny did a fantastic job installing the charger exactly how I wanted — neat, tidy, and with no cables showing. EV Domestic installed my car charger in February 2021 and as many others my original review got lost. In the last 4 1/2 years my charger has worked perfectly. The tap in to the electrics was interesting as there was no space in the consumer unit which has since been replaced. The installer arrived on time did a quick and effect job and it still great. What more can you ask for.

EV Domestic installed my Zappi back in 2021 - I was (and am) very happy with the work they did. When we had a cable detachment issue (our fault!) they were back to fix it very quickly and had access to parts even myenergi didn't have! Very pleased with them and have recommended them to others

EV Domestic installed two Zappi chargers at my home in February 2022. Their installer arrived on time and completed the work to an excellent standard. I would recommend EV Domestic without hesitation. EV Domestic recently got in touch to mention that, due to an issue with their Google account, they had lost their previous customer reviews; hence I am resubmitting this review in October 2025. I can add that our Zappi chargers continue to work well over 3.5 years since they were installed.

I've used EV Domestic twice: once in Canterbury, the other in Uckfield after we moved. If we move again (god, I hope not) then they'll be the only ones I call. The technicians were friendly, on time, tidy, and did a perfect job. I couldn't be more happy with them.

Had a Zappi charger installed by this firm - fantastic pre-site checks done, and managed to route cables as efficiently as possible. All accessories and WiFi gear fitted properly, and helped with all the set up to ensure everything was working and did a run through of the settings. Clean and super neat. Very impressed and no hesitations in recommending them!

Approximately 18 months ago EV Domestic installed a myenergi Zappi in my garage. The quote for the work was very competitive and was the final price I paid. The installation was done within two weeks of the quote and linked in to my solar panels and battery, myenergi Harvey and Eddi. It took about half a day and was installed exactly where I wanted it and very neatly, it has worked faultlessly since that time. I would certainly use EV Domestic again if the need arise.

EV domestics installed a Zappi EV charger for me. The work was done efficiently and I was very pleased with the tidiness of the work. Has worked fine - did get them to come back and modify the wiring a bit for best working with solar batteries (make sure and ask about that at install). That work too was done efficienty and tidily.

From start to finish - great service, communication, price, quality. EV Domestic come highly recommended. They really understand MyEnergi products and the App. My latest installation was a second Zappi EV Charger and Danny set up the new Zappi for me. He checked that the MyEnergi system incorporated the new Zappi and displayed it in my App (see the photograph). Danny checked that every MyEnergi product was working correctly and that the Firmware was up to date. He satisfied himself that I was content before he left. The office sent me the electrical installation certificate and the Building Control Compliance certificate ( an essential part of the installation) for my installation a week later by email. Job done and I am 100% satisfied.

After researching home EV chargers, I decided to select my own charger and get it professionally installed. EV Domestic were selected as they were attractive, appeared knowledgeable without being pushy, and pricing was attractive. Their engineer was a delight and whilst I realised the power would need to be off for part of the installation, he kept this to the end and it was off for less that 5 minutes! Then a tutorial on the unit, and was available for questions by phone if I had any issues over the first few days. Genuinely great service and I would happily recommend them.

They both kept me informed and updated when they planned to arrive, and apologized for the delay. Had EV Domestic carry out a Zappi charger installation on behalf of My Energi back in June. Ryan, the engineer did a fantastic and neat job with a not straightforward installation, internal meter, cable through loft space etc. Have recently been called by EV Domestic to arrange a return visit to swap out a part they have used which has a small chance of potential failure, which is due to be changed out this week. I would certainly recommend this company as the install was completed to a high standard, all required certs were sent in good time and now they are returning to swap out a part that has been identified as a possible failure, albeit a slim chance.

Company came to replace old charger with Powerverse unit. Billy was efficient, knew exactly what to do and was finished in well under 2 hours. There were no problems except getting internet but demonstrated how to use manually (which is what we usually used) I would certainly recommend .

Excellent chap named Billy, very warm, friendly, efficient, well knowledgeable, and extremely well welcoming. Made me feel like I've known him forever. Took me through every step of the way. Excellent service, and installation was done in no time... almost didn't want him to leave.... I was very worried at first, thinking I'll need to clear everything out indoors to allow him gain access to my fusebox, but he didn't even need to come into the house as everything was done outside the house in the meter box, with no rubbish left behind. I'm very, very pleased with the service I got from Billy, and so also is my car if it could talk. Saves me the stress of having to drive round my little village looking for a charging point as there's none in my area. I'm very impressed with the service I got, and would recommend this company for anyone needing an EV home charger. I'm a very satisfied customer indeed.

A rare experience these days! A company that turned up at the arranged day, and time. I asked the chap (whose name escapes me at the moment) doing my installation to put things in certain places. He didn't do exactly as I asked, he actually improved upon my request, and did so without any fuss or bother. A 10/10 from a very satisfied customer, from the first contact with Carly in the office, to arrange a mutually convenient date, to installation complete.

Having heard of and read a few horror stories about installations by other companies and myself perhaps having had a lucky escape with another installer, I was really anxious about having my EV charger installed. I really didn't need to be worried! My installer was Billy and I have to say, I think I hit the jackpot! It was clear as soon as I spoke to him that he knew what he was doing and he completely inspired confidence in his ability, attention to detail and safety. Having never been to my non - standard property, he very quickly worked out what would be the best installation of my Ohme Home Pro and completed it within two hours with absolutely no fuss. He was always pleasant and answered any questions I had and if a suggestion was not feasible, he explained why. He took care to hide the cables and showed me how to setup the Ohme app. He left the place tidy with no mess. Needless to say am delighted with the result and my first full charge to 80 % has cost only £11! I must also say a big thank you to Mike who did the original survey and all the girls in the office who were always polite, courteous and kept me informed of progress with my booking. They were a pleasure to deal with. In these times of fake reviews and not knowing who to trust, having a company like EV Domestic and an installer like Billy is priceless and I will without doubt be recommending EV Domestic to my friends and colleagues, many of whom are now switching to EVs. EV Donestic fitted an Ohme Pro EV charger at our home. The experience was thoroughly professional and friendly throughout from the initial contact, through the gathering of site information through to arranging the date and the install itself Tvorougjly recommended.

When it was fitted, the fitter was efficient and tidy and the charging point is reasonably unobtrusive and discreet. It did take quite a while to get an appointment, but once it was arranged it went to plan. Delighted to have it and to no longer be reliant on Garages or overpriced electric points.

Truly excellent company. Ashley kept us informed during the day to tell us his arrival time. Carly and everyone in the office so efficient. Customer service is obviously their priority !!

EV Domestic installed to charging points at our offices. The entire process from original enquiry to final commissioning of the points was a pleasure. The install threw up some challenges but solutions were offered quickly and the install completed efficiently. I would recommend them highly.

Beware EV domestic installed my charger and it tripped my entire house everytime I tried to charge my car. No load testing was done on install to verify that the charger functioned properly. They then charged me an additional fee to come and have a look at it, then more to fix the installation and rewire it "an alternative way". It still trips the main consumer unit bypassing the fuse they installed... Will have to look to hire an independent company to fix this mess. Customer service was shockingly poor. Thoroughly negative experience and would not recommend to anyone.

Installed EV charger. Very polite and professional. Arrived on time and although job took longer than expected. Work completed to a good standard. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the trunking used inside the house could have been colour matched better to existing trunking.

George who installed our Ohme Pod was excellent. He was punctual, tidy, courteous and very knowledgeable about finding the best way to route the wire under the floorboards of our Victorian house. He did this with minimum disruption. He also positioned the Pod very well, concealing the wire behind the drainpipe (see pic). I was very impressed.

Poor communication after order. Had to chase on the day of install to find out what time they would arrive, installer messaged me at 930am to give me a rough ETA. Office never returned my call or emails. Also still waiting for a VAT invoice a week after install.

I used EV Domestic via Rightcharge recently to have an Ohme Pro charger installed at my home. The process was very straightforward, I just had to upload some photos for a remote assessment and I had a quote back later in the day. The price was very good value compared to other quotes I received and EV Domestic were able to quickly get me scheduled for an install the following week. George, the installer on the day, was punctual, polite and worked quickly and with minimal mess. The installation only took a couple of hours and George talked me through how to use the charger afterwards, which was very easy. All of the admin and documents etc was handled efficiently by the office team. Overall a very good experience.

My Zappi EV charger packed up and a new one was ordered from MyEnergi. EV Domestic immediately contacted me to arrange the installation. It almost did not happen though because MyEnergi initially said they did not have one in stock. EV domestic did a great job installing our Zappi charger - highly recommended!

Last year we bought an EO EV charger and EO arranged for it to be fitted by EV Domestic (EVD) which they did very efficiently. Unfortunately it was one of a batch which didn't work in the cold weather - not the fault of EVD. Upon complaining EO arranged for EVD to return and replace the unit. Once again a great service from EVD with a special shout out to George the engineer who stayed late patiently setting up the EO App.

The company did an excellent installation, completed professionally and very tidily. Returning a few days later to complete the additional electrical work with the same degree of standard. This company are highly recommended.

I've been hugely impressed with EV Domestic. They responded very quickly to my initial enquiry email, and booked an engineer round for my electric car charging point (a Zappi and a Harvi) soon after. The engineer installed the Zappi/Harvi with no mess, and did a very tidy install with a neat cable run to my workshop. He even took the rubbish away afterwards, compared to some tradespeople who leave the rubbish or stuff it in my bin without saying anything! Overall, a responsive, professional company with some friendly staff. I'm going to need another Zappi installed in a couple of years, so this company will be my first choice when the time comes.

Our installer Pete was wonderful. He was able to get our Zappi car charger working properly and in concert with our Hervi - which means we can now charge our EV in most environmentally friendly and economic way possible. Pete explained clearly what he was doing at all stages and I now feel I finally understand the system myself. Communication with head office was excellent. Everything happened when they said it would. I highly recommend this business. If you are installing an EV point - you NEED their considerable expertise (it is well beyond most electricians!).

EVDoestic have completed a high quality installation. The two engineers were delightful and courteous. I recommend EVDomestic unhesitatingly to anyone considering installation of an electric car charger.

Ashley did an excellent standard install for a tethered Zappi in July/August. EV Domestic kept me up to date all the way through CP selection quotes, install dates until the final electrical certificate via email/SMS. The installation was carried out very professionally and on time and after setting up the CP to my network Ashley explained the functions and the app. He also followed up with MyEnergi the same day to ensure the CP had connected to the server due to an outage at MyEnergi. I would definitely recommend them based on my experience.

EV Domestic installed an EO Mini Pro 2 outside my house today. Leading up to the install they were very professional, honest and responsive. All the other installers I spoke to wanted to drill straight out and have the cable showing along the front of the house. EV Domestic were different, they understood the need to hide the cable and came up with multiple solutions on how this could be routed inside the house. This involved running a cable in a wall, behind a dishwasher and then under the sink! The result, just a small white box on the outside of the house, no unsightly wires!

Good and responsive communications in the booking process. Pete the installer arrived on time as arranged, the installation was completed quickly and professionally and everything left clean and tidy. Pete set it up and talked us through getting ourselves connected. We’re still awaiting delivery of our EV, so can’t comment on using the charger as yet, but very happy with everything so far, and we’ll be ready to go as soon as it appears.

Absolutely overwhelmed by such excellent service from EV Domestic, installing my replacement EO MiniPro V2 charger. They are EO's favourite installer for a reason. Big thanks to Caroline in the office who kindly put up with me being unseemingly grumpy over first date offered and sorted the engineer for the very day my new charger arrived! Also to the absolutely lovely engineer (sorry, missed his name) who went beyond the call of duty to double and triple check that everything was working at optimum performance, from my EV car, to lead, to new charger, to electrics set up inside.

EV charger they fixed that not working properly I call them many times they not return not yet. even I asking them remove their units.they should response atleast 48 or 72 hours. Bad service. rest of 3 years thinking about ......

EV Domestic was recommended to me by a friend to install my Tesla charger. In addition I wanted some additional work carried out to move light switches, insatll outside light and provide space in my meter box for a smart meter installation. The response I received was immediate and a date for installation was agreed. On the day of installation the engineer sent me a text to confirm the time they would arrive. The work requested was finished to a high quality neatly and perfect to our requirements. I would not hesitate to use them again and I highly recommend them.

From booking On-Line to the install itself was an easy process. The installing engineer was a great chap and asked all through the process ensuring I was happy with position and cable routing etc. He took care in his work and cleaned up thoroughly after he had finished and put everything back to how it was. Purchased EO mini pro in Dec20 from EV-Domestic. Installation was straightforward. EO has worked perfectly for 15 months then stopped working. Called EVdomestic and a few days later Danny spent 1.5 hours here diagnosing fault, contacting EO to approve replacement and then installing and setting up a spare EO chargepoint he had on his van. All under warranty and working perfectly now. Proved to me the value of buying your chargepoint thru an installer. EV domestic recommended.

I had a very complicated route from my power source to wear my electric car charger point needed to be. The EV engineer that was sent to do the job was well prepared on the the challenges of the install. The care and workmanship that he put into this install was outstanding. Part of the routing had to pass through the house the care he took on making it unobtrusive exceeded all my expectations. A superb job done with such care he really took pride in his work for which I have reaped the benefits. I would thoroughly recommend EV for this service. Also for the work involved I believe it was also value for money.

Decent service from this firm, definite shout out to Caroline and electrician Matt. The back office is relatively swift to process my enquiry and managed to arrange the installation within a month. Matt turned up late on a Friday but made it up by returning the next Monday when he was supposed to be on leave. Probably one of the trickier installations at the headend but Matt cracked on and explained what he had to do. Although eventually it costs more than the original quotation, it's all itemised and self-explanatory. The place was left clean and tidy, and the overall installation is neat. I have no qualms about recommending this firm to anyone looking for an EV charger installation.

I am extremely impressed with EV Domestic as the company which installed my “EO Mini Pro V2” EV home charger. The experience has been positive from start to finish. The service from the office staff (I dealt with Jade and Caroline mainly) has been very professional and I was kept well informed of the whole process, including a reminder nearer the date of installation. They’ve been responsive to my needs and answered all my queries. Mike was prompt to answer my concerns and resolved my queries instantly. I was very satisfied with his professional advice. Installation of EO Charger done exactly where requested on the day and time slot pre agreed. Engineer Dominic was courteous, tidy (first thing out of the van was the dustpan and brush!), explained clearly what he was going to do and discussed options. On completion tested (plugged car in) and explained the operation of the charger. EO Charging App could not connect but software rather than the engineer and was successfully loaded the next day. Electrical test certificate received once invoice settled as agreed. Would highly recommend.

This is the second chargepoint installed at my home by EV Domestic. (Second electric vehicle so 2 chargepoints needed!). The first installation (last year) was excellent, and this one was excellent also. Well organised, professional, well equipped. A couple of minor snags occurred with the first chargepoint some while after fitting - chargepoint problem, nothing to do with EV Domestic. They liased with the manufacturer and fixed the issue straight away, fuss free. All good - very impressive, recommend!

I bought my first EV and decided to install a charger at home. I did communicate with 3 different installers and I had quotes form all 3 of them. I decided to go with EV domestic as the reviews were good and their price was competitive. I had purchases an Andersen A2 and wanted EV domestic to install it for me. Initial communication regarding installation and OZEV grant application was clear, easy and prompt. I wanted them to confirm that they did test the charger using a EV simulator which was a requirement to validate the Andersen warranty. They confirmed this and then proceeded to getting a date for the install. EV Donestic was very accommodating to my requests for this. Mike who did the installation for me contacted me an hour in advance to confirm that I am still OK with the previously agreed time; he turned up promptly at my place. Mike was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain what he would be doing and did a fantastic job of installing the charger. He carried out all the necessary tests fir electrical safety and explained these to me as well. He even set up the Wi-Fi connection for the charger for me. Very professional indeed and friendly and accommodating too. I am happy to recommend EVDomestic for installation of EV chargers.

Had an EO Mini 2 pro charger installed with EV domestic. Work was done quickly, professionally and with great service. They even cleaned up the dust etc despite it being down an overgrown side alley - they really cared about how the work was left. EV Domestic installed my EO Mini Pro 2 car charger. They did an immaculate job with very little disruption. Originally quoted as 4 hours to install and power off for 30 minutes, in actual fact the install was done within 3 hours and without power off. The install itself was flawless and done to a tremendous standard. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

EV Domestic helped guide us through them, patiently answering a lot of questions before installation date and even before we'd confirmed the booking with them. On installation day, our installer Matt was great - super professional, helpful (trying to find alternative, more direct and less visible routing of the cable - but our house had other tricks so it wasn't possible!), great job at installing it, and left everything very tidy afterwards. I found EV Domestic (EVD) through a recommendation on the Tesla UK forum when researching everything needed for my first EV purchase. I ended up buying a VW id.3 and asked EVD to quote for a home charger. The forum recommendation was spot on - very responsive to my enquiries with good equipment advice and no pressure to buy. Other specialists I asked to quote were either really slow to answer or eager to push their preferred brand of charger. Not only were EVD the nicest folk to deal with they were also the most competitive on price. Their price was fixed after I’d completed their simple online questionnaire that not unreasonably asked for a couple of pics of the planned mounting point and main fuse box. EVD also use this information to claim the Government grant on behalf of the customer and reduce their bill accordingly- couldn’t be easier. I wanted an EO Mini Pro 2 charger, which like many chargers, requires either an unsightly earthing rod or supplementary fuse box to provide additional earthing protection. The new fuse box was included in their quote whereas other wanted not only more for basic charger but also and extra £150 -£200 for the mandatory safety kit. I had a 3 week wait as demand is high, however I was kept informed about how to plan for the work as the date got closer. Dom the engineer confirmed his arrival time by text on the big day and started work on time. Pleased to see Covid safety rules were followed and I was given a walk through of wiring routing, box height preferences etc before he got stuck in. Very impressed with the attention to detail and the quality of the work. Overall I’m delighted I chose EVD and feel confident that there will be a decent aftersales service if ever needed. Happy to recommend this team.

EV-Domestic have been great to deal with, especially once it became obvious that, due to a lack of space in our electrical cupboard, an EO Mini Pro 2 was no longer a suitable choice for my install as I did not want a MATTE device fitted internally. We talked through the choice of a Zappi as a good alternative and arranged a date for the install, which was done really well (and very neatly) by Ashley last week. He took the time to ensure that everything was working and he was very COVID aware throughout the install. In my interactions with EV-Domestic, over an extended period of time, Caroline and colleagues have always been really knowledgeable, super helpful and extremely efficient. I have no hesitation in recommending them based on my experience.

His app wasn't working so he didn't have a contact number to tell us when we was arriving, but the early school run meant we were ready anyway. Mike did our EV installation and worked out we had 3-phase supply to the house (but were only using a single phase of that supply). He helped me get my head around what was needed to move from single-phase to 3-phase utilisation (getting in UKPN + changing our utility meter to a 3-phase one). Much coordination was needed. Once done, this enabled us to move from a 7KW to a 22KW charger. All done with a minimum fuss and lots of clear explanations. He's a real pro.
