Very poor experience using Lektrix, had various electrcial work carried out in our kitchen including the repositioning of some power and sockets. Initial contact was good and very helpful with an electrican booked to carry out the work a few days later, on site the work somehow turned from one day into two, but fine, these things happen I guess. Only once the work was 'completed' did we find the problems. Firstly, the cooker switch was moved to a dangerous position right next to the gas pipe cooker connection. Having no knowledge of building regs myself, this was pointed out as a breach of regulations and fire hazard by another professional at a later date. We also requested 2 sockets to be moved and 2 new ones added. Somehow 1 of the 4 was completely misaligned and around 25mm higher than the others. This was only noticed once the room had been completley replastered and kitchen installation had started. When both of these things were highlighted, there was immediate denial of it being their fault, stating the gas pipe must have moved (it hadn't) and the other socket probably was already in that position and they hadn't moved it. Both of which were untrue. Being asked repeatedly if I was sure I wasn't getting mixed up Both mistakes were eventually rectified, but delayed other parts of our kitchen install and caused more hassle and mess. Based on the incompetent workmanship and poor attitude I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Unsurprisingly ended up getting another company to do the second fix, who did so quicky, efficiently and with zero issues post install.

I have used Lextrix a couple of times now and have no reason to look for another next time I need an electrician. They are very helpful, can assess the issue over a video call before coming out, and happy to explain what they're doing and offering alternatives when appropriate.

Lektrix installations were very efficient, I called and requested a quote for works - was contacted instantly by the owner who then FaceTimed me for a more personal approach. Once agreeing the works, a week later a technician was in our house and fitted a double socket within the time quoted. All in all a great service & a provider who I will be using again soon.

We were in need and only had a window of time and they fitted us in after assessing the problem through a video call, it saved us time and the electrician was informed of what he was looking for before he got to us. They were extremely helpful and honest.

Ongoing problems with a bathroom dimmer switch over a couple of years has been a tricky issue to resolve. I've had three electricians in and although it's taken more than one visit from Lektrix, what I've really appreciated is the cooperative attitude of the office to find a solution given my 30 years in this property. Other local services have been completely dismissive of the history and the result has always been unsuccessful. In one case, the experience was quite unsettling. Agreeing a way forward with Lektrix, the technician returned, always punctual, polite, explaining clearly the issues and solution. Job done. Working perfectly. I've also had Lektrix replace a bathroom exhaust fan, check washing machine wiring, deal with dimmer module units and bulb replacements in an additional property. Prompt, polite, professional service each time. For the first time in years, reliable, responsive service at reasonable prices from a local electrical business. Hurrah! Will be using Lektrix only from now on. Highly recommend.

Disappointed after the second visit and completed job. We would not use Lektrix neither recommend them.

Called me very promptly at 8am when i realised we had no hot water, we talked through the problem and video called to show him the setup. Suggested some quick fixes which we tested and then sent an engineer that day. They arrived on time and identifed the problem quickly. They couldnt source the part on the same but put a work around in so we had hot water. When the part arrived arranged us to he the first visit of the day and engineer turn up on time and replaced the part very quickly and neatly. Very helpful, efficcient service. Would highly recommend

Very impressed with Lektrix. Had a tricky light installation that involved an extra step several other electricians said wasn't an electricians job. To installing fcu and supply ran in armoured cable in carport ready for roller shutter engineers to fit an electric shutter 2. To replacing faulty vanity mirror unit with a replacement from the manufacturer Done to a very high standard and a very friendly team. Highly recommend.

Good work, fixed issue with oven and mains socket, installed new bathroom extractor fan quickly and with no mess.

I had a fuse box which kept tripping, they were very responsive and able to come round the next day. It took 2 hours to fix the problem and I haven't had an issue since.

We have used Lektrix for c. 25 years in our home and our rental properties. We have always had great service, value and quality of work. We will continue to use them.

Absolute rip off! Charged £444 for an EICR via agent for 15 circuits Unfortunately I trusted my agent when he told me he had negotiated a discounted rate from this company which was "£170+VAT for up to 5 circuits any additional circuits are 20+VAT". I did not believe their quote and went with another company that charged £150 inclusive of VAT (better reviews than cheaper company) and found another company even cheaper at £109 inclusive of VAT. The company I later went with ended up being just under a third of the maintenance cost to achieve the passed status. I don't know whether Lektrix thinks an EICR is to upgrade the electrics to "new build" standards, but they are an absolute rip off and I have advised the agent to never let them anywhere near my property! Also Lektrix went out to my property a second time and tried to charge another EICR inspection fee - he did concede recently that he was aware that he had been out to the property previously (around 6 months earlier). When I received the Lektrix EICR inspection it included 4 items that they claimed needed further investigation which meant they could charge even more to investigate and then the cost to fix what I would be told is wrong which was contrary to what I was given about the scope and deliverable of the inspection report which was the minimum work required and full cost quoted to achieve a passed status. So in a way I was held over a barrel to get the EICR passed status - which is why I went elsewhere.

10/10 service Could not recommend Letrix highly enough. Were very prompt with fitting in the work, extremely professional and very reasonably priced. Removal and installation of a new radiator, and installation of extractor fan. Work was quickly done and was cheaper than I was expecting for the work involved.

Very pleased overall. Engineer identified the issue, and worked with his manager to source a replacement light fitting quickly. Unfortunately couldn't be sourced within the same day so I did pay for another call out, however I accept that and no problems with that. Electrician was also requested to check a faulty doorbell, and advised that it would be easier for me to purchase and fit my own (and recommended a brand) - saved a lot of money!

We have used Lektrix since we moved into our house over 25 years ago when they completely rewired the house and I wouldn't use anyone else. Its good to know they are still a family business passed down the generations and the electrician who visited on this occasion has been with the company for 4 years which says a lot about the company and the employee. I had a fault with lighting at my home. I contacted Lektrix and they were able to get someone to me quickly. The issue was quickly identified and the process of repair - which required recabling from the loft to the ground floor - was completed. The electrician was polite and went out of his way to complete the task with minimal mess and damage. If you're looking for a friendly, efficient and professional team, I'd recommend these guys.

Prompt and professional service in my home.

I had some down-lights fitted in my buy-to-let property in Colliers Wood. The work was carried out at fairly short notice and it had to be arranged around the tenants - which could have complicated things - but everything went smoothly! The drilling caused a lot of mess but it was all cleared up and everything was left clean and tidy. So it was all hassle-free and I am very pleased with the results. I would certainly use Lektrix again.
