Kingsway Electrical Ltd

Solar Installation with battery. Kingsway were excellent and I would highly recommend them if you are thinking about solar panels. The whole process was simple right from the initial appointment. Everything was explained at a simple level so I could understand. During the installation, all team members were pleasant and considerate. They turned up on time, explained what they were doing, and tidied up after themselves. Excellent job and thank you for all the hard work.

Contacted Kingsway as our 7 year old solar panels stopped working after heavy rain in Nov/Dec. Pete visited to discuss problem and organise a team to investigate. Team arrived on time and each member introduced himself before work commenced, which greatly impressed me, I have to say. Fault soon identified and swiftly rectified. One panel had been damaged by local wildlife gaining access and nibbling a cable underneath, despite having protective mesh. Took a couple of visits and new, more secure mesh fitted. Great job guys and many thanks.

Excellent experience from quote to completion. During the initial visit to discuss products and assess where they would be located, all of the implications were discussed to ensure we understood and were happy with the options available to us. Once we chose Kingsway, on the day the installation took place, the team explained what they would be doing and made sure we were happy with location of cabling and the various pieces of equipment. Once installation completed, the system was tested fully with us as well as an overview of operating instructions. Really respected our property and were clean and tidy throughout. Follow up emails received promptly with all necessary completion certificates and user manuals. Highly professional and would not hesitate to recommend.

After a recommendation I got in touch with Kingsway regarding testing and commissioning my solar and battery set up. I must say it was a breath of fresh air dealing with Kingsway. From the first contact they were extremely helpful, spoke to me about my unique situation and how they could help. After agreeing a date, two engineers showed up on time and worked to a very high standard, leaving no mess whatsoever and talked me through everything as they went and before they left. Brilliant company who I can’t recommend highly enough.

I used Kingsway Electrical Ltd to carry testing and commissioning service of my solar system. I am really happy with the entire process, from initial consultation to completion. The team is knowledgeable, and the work was completed on time & tidied upon completion. I highly recommend Kingsway Electrical ltd to anyone considering a solar installation. Big thanks to Peter and Aaron.

Brilliant Service, couldn’t be happier!

Booked in for a small job before Christmas and they cancelled at last minute. Seems to have been result of miscommunication and lack of transparency as to what kind of work they take on . So can't speak to standard of work.

Highly rate Kingsway electrical. Will highly recommend them to anyone. Attention to detail from the highly knowledgeable and friendly staff. They were a dream to deal with from start to finish and got all the relevant paperwork on time and I’m over the moon with the job. Even though it was a small domestic job they still done it. They can do all aspects of electrical work. I will be using them from now on. Thanks once again to Kingsway electrical.

great service and delighted with the final results of our soalr and battery install

Kingsway Electrical Ltd carried out extensive testing and commissioning services on a solar photovoltaic system, installed additional safety features and produced all the necessary paperwork for the system to export to the grid. The company representatives were prompt, completed the work within time and tidied up upon completion. Excellent professional service from initial enquiry to completion.

Fantastic service from start to finish. Communication, workmanship, professionalism of the onsite staff, end result; all of the highest standard.

We have had excellent service. They replied promptly, came out to give a quote quickly and we’re flexible with scheduling. Post sales care was also excellent.

Initially employed Kingsway to install an ev charger with the view of going down the full solar route at a later date. From start to finish the whole experienced has been excellent. I thought the workmanship of the lads was very tidy and to the highest standards. Dealing with Pete has been good, I found him very patient when it comes to explaining and answering questions. Over all I would highly recommend Kingsway.

Can’t praise Pete and his excellent team at Kingsway enough. Excellent price, workmanship and customer service ethic. Would recommend them for solving your electrical problems.

We were badly let down by a company called Install Solar for our solar panels and batteries installation. With a badly done installation and no MCS certificate, we contacted Kingsway Electrical to come and check over and certify the installation done by Install Solar. They came and reinstalled almost the whole system, issued our MCS certificate and did our DNO registration. They are very professional and do quality job. Kudos to them

Very polite and polite workmen. Would recommend them and they even hoovered. Thank you for your help.

Battery storage installation was completed with great care and attention. Installers were first class and went though all required information prior to finishing up.

Pete came and we had a good discussion about where things would go and what to choose. We decided on solar panels and a battery. They gave us a very informative quote with links to all the components. The installation team were helpful and did a neat and tidy job. Would thoroughly recommend.

Pete Docherty responded proactively to our request for a solarPV with battery storage installation. After an exchange of data we had an early Zoom Meeting with screenshots from Google Earth showing what our system could look like. Once we were ready Kingsway delivered a competitive quotation after a site visit which has been benchmarked by our grant provider as best value in the market. All of the equipment offered is CE marked and has been designed and tested to International Standards. There are other companies who can provide technically superior systems but offered at uncompetitive prices in our opinion. The installation team consisting of salaried employees worked diligently to complete the work and the follow up communications to iron out wrinkles were top class.

Great job by Pete and team on our solar and battery installation. Peter was very knowledgeable and took the time to discuss what we wanted and made sure we got the specific hardware we were after. The install was done proficiently and to a high standard. By the end of day 2, we were generating solar to cook dinner! Everything was neat and tidy, cables routed through trunking and wiring. A team of three headed by Lewis came to install the job, all were friendly and knowledgable and answered my various questions. Additionally, it was great that Pete dropped by to introduce himself and explain a few things, and answer a few questions. All documentation required for HES and EST loans were processed and sent by the end of the week. Thank you Pete and team!

I used Kingsway Electrical for our Solar install using the Home energy Scotland HES interest free government loan. As an MCS registered installer Kingsway where able to advise me on the process involved and was happy for me to use the HES process. I had several quotes that all came in at a similar price but Peter used a more personalised process for obtaining a quote that let me ask questions and tailor the quote to my specific needs. Also for all the quotes i received Kingsway where the only ones to break down additional options clearly like bird netting and extended warranties so the pricing was very clear. The Install itself was carried out by 4 of Peter's team along with contracted roofers and scaffolding firm. All the tradesmen involved where polite, tidy and happy to answer questions and listen to my specific requirements. The system itself is working great and i'm very happy with the end result. All the best for the future Kingsway a job well done

Kingsway were the only people who were able to identify a problem with our PV solar system and fix it. Good value, professional and responsive

Great service. polite and professional. Courteous and tidy

We recently decided to get Solar Panels, a battery and inverter installed at our house. Pete and the team at Kingsway Electrical were brilliant from start to finish. Pete was so knowledgeable and helpful from outset and spent time discussing our requirements and giving really helpful advice around what systems to use to ensure the best return on investment. Pete both supplied and installed the equipment and all on time and at a very competitive price. The other companies we approached for quotes were very sales-focussed and didn't have the same depth of knowledge as Pete, they really just wanted you to sign-up for their standard package and weren't interested in more bespoke installations. In summary, we could not have been happier with the entire service from Kingsway Electrical. Friendly, approachable, knowledgeable, professional and tidy too!!

Kingsway recently installed 18 PV solar panels, x3 5.2kw batteries and a 5kw inverter and I would highly recommend the company. All work was completed in 2 days to a high standard, with everything neatly finished. What was most impressive was the customer service, communications and explanations, first class at all times (not always the case with over trades we've used recently I'm afraid). As I say highly recommended.

I had Solar PVs, inverter and battery installed. Polite, professional staff, knew exactly what to do, if they encountered a problem it was highlighted to customer and a resolution was found. thank you.

Kingsway Electrical Ltd installed a 9 solar panels and battery storage system in our Church Hall last week. The job was done very efficiently and on the agreed dates. It was a professional job and the system is working well to date.

Very satisfied with the work done. Hard-working with great attention to detail. I would highly recommend.

I was totally impressed with every aspect of this company, I would highly recommend them to anyone and I will definitely use them again, Thanks Peter

Would definitely use Kingsway again. Very professional from quote to invoice. Very tidy work and talked me through the installation from start to finish - I used them for the car charger after they completed the electrical installation for a heat pump and installed solar panels.

Good experiance with getting quote and scheduling visit, the actual work was done neatly and well, they also managed to fix something else that wasn't in the original work very quickly.

The service provided was of great quality, a reasonable price and was done with a positive attitude.

Pete is great to deal with, he discussed different solutions for installing 12 ceiling inserted downlighter on two dimmer switches to replace a single pendant light in a large room. Once decided on the best option they provided a quote, completed the job as planned, were friendly to have around and left things looking neat and tidy. Have used several times for a variety of jobs and would highly recommend.

I used Pete and his team to carry out the installation of my EV Charger. Delighted with the service i received from start to finish. I would certainly not hesitate in recommending Kingsway Electrical Ltd, a pleasure to do business with.

Excellent service provided. Look no further

An amazing company to use. Friendly attentive and extremely professional. We will only ever use Pete again for all our Electrical needs !
