Lincoln Electrical Ltd

Very pleased with my solar PV and battery installation from Lincoln Electrical. The whole team was professional, friendly and efficient from start to finish. The installation was completed quickly and to a high standard, and they took the time to explain everything clearly. Communication was excellent throughout, and the price was very competitive. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable solar installer.

We have recently had 25 solar panels installed. From the start of the job to the end result we were thoroughly satisfied. Evie, the very polite and efficient administrator in the office, was quick to answer any queries we had. The team led by Aaron worked really hard during a very hot spell and completed the job ahead of schedule. They work very efficiently and left a tidy site at the end of the day. We would have no hesitation in recommending Lincoln Electrical.

After nearly a year of having ac fitted by Lincoln electrical, we experienced a little leak…. From dropping the team a message they were out the next morning with no end of spares and all sorted…. You really won’t beat the service this local company offers ….. thanks to you all

Lincoln Electrical recently completed a 12.5KWh solar array on two roofs, Tesla Powerwall 3, Gateway and Tesla Gen 3 EV wall charger. They did a really great job and the project was completed in three days. They took care of my G99 application from inception to completion and made sure I was correctly setup on my Tesla app. The whole team did a great job and it was very competitively priced having had 4 quotes. I have no hesitation in recommending Lincoln Electrical for any electrical and/or solar/battery/EV installations. I like the idea these guys are qualified electricians as well as competent on solar and battery installations.

Great service, very happy customer. Lincoln Electrical installed a new Shower and Consumer unit for us around a year ago. The shower had stopped working this week so we contacted them back and they sent Charlie & Adrian out within a few hours the same day, on the hottest day of the year. The lads were spot on, they found the problem straight away. Charlie explained to us how the damage had occurred and how to prevent it happening again. Excessive use of the pull cord, so no fault on their behalf I must add. Myself, Mr Butter fingers snapped where the light bulb goes into while they were here and Adrian sorted it out straight away which was much appreciated. Professional and polite, they left everything in a tidy manor. We would strongly recommend Lincoln Electrical to anyone looking for a reliable company. Thanks Lads, Harvey

I had some problems with two double sockets in our kitchen spoke to Evie and told her what the problem was and she organised an electrician to come and carry out the work I needed doing Thanks Charlie & Evie will certainly recommend Lincoln Electrical.

As always, the communciation was first class, and the physical work carried out expertly and efficiently by friendly and helpful staff. Excellent service all round.

Extremely pleased with the service; everything was handled very professionally and the work carried out to a high standard. Would highly recommend.

Brilliant company to deal with. Listened to what I wanted to achieve and gave me a very good price for solar panels and battery. Managed to get the system fitted and working in double quick time too. Would definitely recommend!

Lincoln Electrical installed our solar PV system in 2023 and we are thrilled with its performance! We have all the benefits of a warm house via our air source heat pump and also get paid for selling electricity back to the grid. Jamie has just fitted an EV charger for us. Brilliant service - always friendly and helpful and he went above and beyond in helping us set up the charging system. Jamie was so patient in answering our questions! Would 100% recommend Lincoln Electrical.

We used Lincoln Electrical to change our kitchen dimmers to straight 'on or off' switches, fit an exterior light and fit new down lighters. Have to say that from the start the company were great. Evie was very accommodating trying to fit us in. Charlie, who did the work for us was polite, good humoured and insightful. He's a credit to the company. I would thoroughly recommend Lincoln Electrical if you are looking for any electrical work if you're looking for any work to be done.

I have recently moved to Lincoln and as part of the project work we have undertaken at the new property there have been a multitude of electrical and Solar PV quandaries that have need some major and extensive works. Lincoln electrical have been fantastic with help and support for our on-going project, providing advice and materials not to mention assistance and support over the phone. We are developing a new extension and I have asked that thy will oversee the electrical works for the build and a new PV array to push our passive house further towards self-sufficiency. For the short time we have engaged them in our project the experience has been second to none and as such I would recommend Lincoln electrical and have already promoted their services to family and friends.

Lincoln Electrical have done a couple of jobs for us The first was at our home always full of children and toys. They were really good. Considerate and tidy. Lighting is fantastic The second at the village church where fuse boxes etc. needed replacing. They have solved all the issues that needed solving and lthe church lighting and heating now works Thank you

Absolutely fantastic service. The guys were amazing and went above and beyond with our solar, battery and charger fitting.

Carried out a full electrical check on my house and also did so Electrical work on another house. Professional, on time , reasonable and would highly recommend. A++

Very prompt and excellent service and follow up. Electrician Adrian was very helpful. Very pleased.

I have no hesitation in recommending Lincoln Electrical. Everyone was polite and friendly and the work I had done was carried out quickly and to a high standard

I am pleased to write a review concerning Lincoln Electrical. First impressions are so important, and that started with my call to the Company, The lady who took my call was very polite and helpful as I explained the problem to her. This was to replace a timer for my for my central heating. The gentleman who carried out the work was excellent. Once again polite and helpful. Thank you both.

Very helpful electrician who solved our issue with solar panels .

An excellent service provided by all of the team. Jamie changed my DC coupled battery system to an AC coupled system., something I had been try to get my original installers to do for 6 months. I only wish that I had found you sooner!

I have had a problem with my GivEnergy Inverter which has been offline since the 23 December. I rang Lincoln Electrical this morning and they were really helpful and it was so nice to speak to a real person. I was told that someone could come out this afternoon to fix the problem. Aaron arrived as promised and he was so polite and helpful and very knowledgeable and fixed the problem immediately. He kindly showed me some settings which would help with my generation which I didn't even know existed. It has been a pleasure to deal with this company and I can genuinely recommend them and I will have no hesitation to use them again. If you need anything with regard to Solar please use a local company and not one of the big organisations.

We had an electrical emergency, Jamie came out within the hour and discovered that it was a fault that needed to be fixed by the national grid, Jamie stayed with my wife and made sure that national grid were on there way before he left, he made sure my family was safe regardless of the fact he could do nothing, he went above and beyond to a) ensure that my family was safe from any electrical fire and b) ensure that the issue was going to be fixed almost immediately. This is the third time I have used Jamie and the team for electrical work and I can honestly say I would never go anywhere else, I always recommend to friends, family etc. thank you Jamie for taking care of us once again!!!

Charlie showed up quickly and did the job professionally and in a timely manner. I am very happy with the work he's done. Cheers.

Hired Michal to supply & fit exterior security lights as he had recently provided an extensive & first rate job for our daughter. Ours too was an absolutely excellent job from Michal & Emila; the lighting is positioned perfectly for our needs despite the awkward space available. Also during the final electrical check Michal discovered a serious issue on equipment owed by National grid. He immediately arranged an emergency call out for us, they arrived within 30 minutes & were here changing their equipment the whole afternoon. I really can't recommend this company highly enough.

I have recently had an EV charger installed by Jamie and cannot speak too highly of the company. It was not a straightforward job as we experienced software issue conflicts between scheduling the EV charger, car and Tesla Powerwall storage battery. Full credit to Jamie for sticking with it and eventually solving the problems. A special mention to Jamie and office support staff Kerry and Evie who were efficient, professional and helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending them and will use their services again.

We had quite a few jobs done by Lincoln Electrical when moving in, from light fittings to a new fusebox. Work always done to a high standard and house left clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend.

We recently had Lincoln electrical install air con. Great communication, no issues with the work carried out, was to a high standard. Would highly recommend

Spoke to the company regarding a problem with my solar panel WiFi system, informed that was something they were willing and able to carry out. However a waiting period of two weeks was required. On the agreed date appointment cancelled and rearranged but once again cancelled no reason given, third appointment offered but then informed that there would be a travel charge as I lived a distance form Lincoln which they were aware of from the start but the additional charge never highlighted. Disappointing and frustrating company needs to be up front if they do not want the work. And stop wasting peoples time

Company was really great, very friendly, electricians were A1.would recommend anytime.

Can I say a big thankyou to Charlie and Adrian for the fantastic work they have done today with updating our electric you both have been amazing and outstanding thankyou again Chris and Gary

Very pleased with work carried out today by Aiden. Did everything that we asked him to as well as manking some very helpful and useful suggestions. So very pleased and would definately recommend Lincoln Electrical.

August 2025 - Lincoln Electrical upgraded my house consumer unit and also installed an EV charger to my garage. The two electricians were very accommodating did an excellent instalation and answered all my qusetions. As a retired elctectrical engineer I can highly recommend this company.

I recently had Lincoln Electrical install a full Solar PV system along with battery storage at my home, and I genuinely can’t recommend them highly enough. From the very beginning, the whole process was smooth, professional and clearly explained. Communication was excellent throughout, and I always felt well-informed and confident in the work being carried out. The installation took place on the agreed date and was completed within the day. The team turned up on time, worked efficiently, and left everything tidy and well-finished. The attention to detail in the way everything was installed was spot on – it’s clear they take real pride in their work. What stood out just as much as the install itself was the follow-up. The Electrical Installation Certificate, the MCS certificate and all the supporting paperwork were sent over the very next day. That made registering for my export tariff completely straightforward and stress-free, which is a huge help when trying to get things sorted quickly with your energy provider. Everyone I spoke to, whether it was over the phone or in person, was friendly, helpful and approachable. Nothing felt rushed or glossed over, and I had full confidence in the team throughout. It’s rare to find a company that combines quality workmanship with such good customer service. If you’re considering solar, battery storage or any kind of electrical work, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lincoln Electrical. They’ve been professional, reliable and a real pleasure to deal with from start to finish

My wife and I decided to install a solar array and battery system to our terraced house. We sought 3 quotes from different companies including Lincoln Electrical (who had previously installed an EV charger for us). That experience and their quotation (which offered by far the best value for money) meant choosing them was an obvious decision. They arranged everything from scaffolding to roofing work (a complication as we live in a general conservation area and wanted an in-roof rather than on-roof system, for aesthetic reasons) as well as installation. The job took 3 days from start to finish and from initial discussions to final hand-over, Jamie and his team could not have been more helpful and considerate. We are thrilled with the results, especially going on line during a period of prolonged sunshine, and would happily recommend Lincoln Electrical to anyone thinking of doing the same as we did.

Once again, a great job by the guys. A friendly Adi sorted my troublesome dishwasher. Great job!

Great service from start to finish, good communication and questions answered, first class work and a professional approach, leaving the work area clean and tidy, will definitely use again in the future

Really delighted with the service (supply and installation of Myenergi Zappi EV charger). They booked us in much earlier than expected when a cancellation arose and the engineer Steve was fantastic during the installation, very friendly, polite and knowledgeable. He made (and left) everything neat and tidy and help set up the Zappi App which was a great help. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending.

Good communication throughout- engineer very polite and respectful, very happy with the service.

Had a ev charger fitted on Tuesday 13th may and I can only say what a brilliant job that this company did the installer was so friendly and professional and helped with my lack of knowledge with all the setting up .I would certainly recommend this company to anyone. Many thanks again

Just an update on the guys from Lincoln Electrical. Since the initial Aircon we have since had the Solar with Battery storage installed and now have 3 aircon’s fitted and just had a Car Charger installed that works in conjunction with the Solar. The lads always doing a clean tidy and efficient job which is why we continue to deal with them and have more possible work planned too! Thank you 😎 I know of Lincoln Electrical through the trade I am in and so approached them to have an Air Conditioner installed in my main Kitchen, Dining, Living room. I was really impressed with not only the Unit installed but the quality and dedication to doing an excellent clean job. We were so impressed a week or so later we had them install another Air Conditioner in our bedroom which is a god send on a hot evening and once again the lads delivered on quality of service and price. While they were here we discussed the options on a Solar PV system and they put together a favourable quote for a 10 panel 9.5kw Hybrid Battery storage system. We were very happy with the quote so we gave the go ahead and so 2 weeks later they started and in just 2 Days completed the installation and did not fail to convince me I had selected the right team for the right job. The equipment and installation first rate and again, extremely happy with the quality of work and product installed. I will stand by all I have said and therefore will highly recommend Lincoln Electrical to do any of your work, whether you are having done what we have had, but not forgetting they also install EV Chargers and undertake other Electrical Work / Projects too! Thanks again to a great bunch of guys and gal! for all there help, guidance and work 😎 Tony and Gail Barkworth. Waddington.

Great company, great service and very reasonable pricing. Installation of battery was smooth and very clean installation. Will recommend.

Really great service and work from Lincoln Electrical. The team were quick to respond to my enquiry and friendly. Steve who came to fit the two new light fittings did a great job. All in all was 10 out of 10. Thank you very much Steve and Lincoln Electrical.

I had a major issue with the socket and RCD breakers tripping constantly over a 3 day period where I had no power to the sockets and no heating. On the first day of the issue I called Lincoln electrical LTD after a google search and the guys came the next day. They were friendly and gave advise over the phone as much as they could. In the end I asked them for help to come and diagnose the fault and hopefully rectify or have a solution to get power and heating back to my home as I have a young child and it has been very cold in our home. After 2 hours it was determined I have a short to ground causing the trip on one of the wires. The wire was going under the floor boards and had no real idea where it will go and was advised it was best to rewire the entire 1975 three bedroom property at a very rough estimate of around £7000 or as the apprentice put it "If you are renting I would get out" granted the wiring to the consumer unit is a little messy and old but nothing updating the unit would fix and sorting out any other issues. I got the impression he did not really want to lift the carpets and floor boards to try and work it out and I think wanted to get to the next customer and then start there Christmas break and if I wanted them back will sort out in the new year with a complete rewire. I have never felt so abandoned and what will I do next to provide cooked food and heating for my family and have my home up and running, I was in disspair. Next day I was invoiced for the 2 hours of diagnosis which I think from the work carried out was not worth it and very expensive. The next day after not being very impressed I found and contacted another electrician and they came the same day and after 2 hours found the faulty cable and got my power back and heating with a solution to fix in the new year and also to upgrade my consumer unit and certifie and was cheaper. They lifted up the carpets and floor boarding and insured me they would not leave until my home was up and running again and safe they split the ring circuit and started reconnected each circuit until they found the fault. My home electrics were not in such a bad condition as it was made out to be and requiring a full rewire. Sorry to say i will not use them again or advise to use them for fault diagnose work.

Aaron Dews did an excellent job on rewiring our bungalow, nothing was too much trouble for them and they even vacuumed everywhere when they finished 10/10 I’ll be calling them again should we ever need and electrics sorting out 👍👍👍

Quick response to our initial enquiry. The date and time as arranged with designated electrician ,Steve was kept. Worked carried out in a highly professional manner Not over priced Very happy with the service provided. Well definitely us again

Called Lincoln Electrical as I wanted some advice on some wiring that supplies the cooker. Jamie came out same day and he is a very knowledgeable and friendly guy and put my mind at rest about the wiring. Definitely be using this company in the future if we need any electrical work doing. Excellent service

I found Lincoln Electrical on checkatrade. They had good reviews which prompted my contact to them. My home electrics were playing up and I needed a quick response. I got one from Aaron and he was patient with my various and many messages and calls. I got clear information about cost and timescale, which was important to me. Stephen turned up the next day and proceeded to work out the problem very quickly. He was polite, professional and mindful of my concerns. He needed to go and purchase a part, which he did quickly and efficiently. On his return he replaced the part and went the extra mile to check the system and provide reassurance the consumer unit was now safe and working well. He did this all in the space of 2 hours. I received my invoice the same day and it was easy to pay online. Aaron messaged thanks for the prompt payment. I recommend Lincoln Electrical unreservedly.

I was generally pleased with the work carried out at my residence.

This was our second installation by Lincoln Electrical Ltd. The first was our solar panels and battery system last summer, which was undertaken in a very professional manner and has been faultless. Today was adding light and power to our outbuildings, which was done quickly and efficiently and we are very pleased with the result. I would thoroughly recommend these guys, a proper family run business who believe in doing things properly first time.

The job ran to schedule and the engineers were both very thorough with their testing and clean and tidy with their work. No issues experienced and will definitely use again.

Hi Had the pleasure of Aaron and Charlie today fitting a new board and iBoost. I am very satisfied with the whole experience. Very thorough explaining what was going to happen answering any questions I had during the day. Would highly recommend them to anyone wanting electrical work done.

These guys are great i only wish i had found them to do my solar install, but that's life. ! We have had them to install additional solar batteries to our existing system. They were quick in their responses and very competitive with their pricing, work was completed on the day that was arranged and on time. They are so knowledgeable and are willingly to discuss any issue you may have with your existing system. If you are looking for solar these guys are the best by far, installation may take a little time but will be well worth the wait.Great Family run company.

recently had a loft light, outdoor light and outdoor socket fitted. great quality of work, very efficient and professional throughout, and came in cheaper than i expected. would highly recommend these guys

Lincoln electrical quoted me for work that didn't need doing , discovered this after having two other electrical companies come to quote too. Always shop around people.

Phoned Lincoln electrical. Came straight out to look at the job and was done the very next day. Absolutely fantastic service would highly recommend

Lincoln Electrical have just completed the installation of a Solar PV System for us and we couldn't be more impressed with their service. From first contact with Kerry and initial meeting with Jamie, to the installation of our panels, inverter and batteries, the whole team were efficient, professional and very tidy. Every detail of the project was brilliantly managed and nothing was too much trouble. We have no hesitation in giving Lincoln Electrical the highest possible recommendation. We are delighted with our Solar PV System and are already benefiting from it, despite the recent bad weather. Thank you Jamie, Aaron, Kerry and all the team!

Lincoln Electrical installed a new induction hob and connected up a cooker hood as a part of our kitchen refit. Very professional, and very clean and tidy. Took the time to explain what he was doing and why and was happy to answer any questions. Friendly and likeable as well. No hesitation in recommending them 👍🏻.

The only electricians you will ever need, we have used several over the years and none of them are as good as Lincoln Electrical, they do a good job, efficiently and are always polite and knowledgable. 10/10

Many thanks to Aaron and Charlie for an excellent job replacing our fuse box. It was a lot less trouble than I feared and the new unit looks much tidier. They did a thorough job in checking the whole system to make sure it all worked and left the place tidy. I have given them a list of other jobs to come back and do another time. Very good value for money

Great company turned up on time , very professional price really good , would highly recommend this company,👍👍

We used Aaron and Jamie at various stages of our complete house re-wire and for our extension. The re-wire element was extremely difficult as it was a live in re-wire but Jamie, Aaron and their team were excellent. Everything was explained well, they were always on time and on the days they stated and they cleared up after each day impeccably. An extremely professional company, with a vast amount of experience and knowledge and they are a great lovely set of people to accompany that. I would not hesitate in recommending them, a fantastic company.
