Zap Electrical

Quick service, easy to contact and our issue was sorted within 3 days of contacting Zap. Highly recommend and will be using again should we have any issues (fingers crossed we don’t!) thank you!

Daniel from ZAP has been great from start to finish. He paid a courtesy visit to assess solar inverter that stopped working and provided reasonable quote to replace/install a new inverter. All work was completed to high standard. Highly recommended!

Changing 9 downlights in kitchen and bathroom. Ashtead area. Turned up on schedule. Quick and efficient. Explained everything thoroughly. Invoicing quick and easy.

I've used ZAP Electrical twice, to install myenergi electric vehicle home charge points. Amongst many other things, they are a preferred contractor for installing and servicing myenergi products. In my experience they have been very helpful and responsive, and they keep the customer informed about engineer ETAs, which is really helpful. So, I would highly recommend this company and would have no hesitation in using them again.

We had existing cables relocation and new sockets re-wired at one of our current projects in Kingston upon Thames by ZAP electrical. As always, the electrician arrived on time. Elliot was very knowledgable, he disconnected all cables from the area where structural work was taking place and re-connected them through new route. The sockets were installed efficiently and he tidied up the chased area after his work. Elliott was also very friendly, flexible and co-operated well with other builders working at the property. Highly recommend ZAP Electrical to any Building contractor requiring either Full rewiring or part electrical installations.

Nice communication and great service, would for sure recommend

One time, at a good price - what more could you want?

Dan Barrett at Zap is that rare commodity - someone who is not only highly proficient, but also totally reliable. He answered all communications promptly, attended on time and did what he said he would. I cannot fault his service and highly commend him to anyone wanting a first-class electrician.

First time using Zap and great experience. I had a fault that they analysed and found first time based on tests, removed faulty cable and now back to normal. Highly recommend.

Highly reliable, professional, and excellent communication! We used ZAP Electrical for a lighting installation and had a fantastic experience. Their communication is a massive strength—they are incredibly reliable, and when they say they will follow up or message you in the morning, they actually do it. The team arrived exactly on time, was very polite, and carried out the work to a very high standard. They even managed to fit in an extra bathroom extractor fan replacement for us on the same day for a very reasonable price. If you are looking for competent, reliable electricians with top-tier customer service, I highly recommend them!

Dan is quite honestly amazing. Just so knowledgeable, answers all my stupid questions, always can accommodate such efficient turn arounds. Really highly recommend Dan 👌🏽

ZAP electricals helped us to install Loft lighting in Battersea. The zap team completed a full rewire of my house. The team were a pleasure to have in the house and the work is fantastic. Dan managed to source lovely accessories that were exactly what I wanted. They also added the led strip feature lighting to our media wall and shower which looks stunning.

Dan and his team arrived on time and were really helpful throughout the EV charger installation. Very happy with their work. Highly recommended 🙏

Would not hesitate to recommend Zap Eletrical. Everything was completed when requested in a timely and very professional way. As importantly, all left clean and tidy. Thank-you Dan. Update: had a very minor issue with the initial job. Many thanks to Dan and all @ Zap for attending promptly and efficiently to rectify. Again, would recommend.

Highly recommend Dan at Zap Electrical. We requested a ECIR survey for a house we’re looking to purchase. Dan found an issue whilst testing and called me immediately to explain the findings and concerns. Communication was very easy and friendly. Would definitely use Zap Electrical again in the future

Would highly recommend Zap Electrical. From the initial communication to the finished work we cannot fault them. They fitted an EV charger to our home and went through all the information with us and were extremely helpful. If you need a local contractor they would be our first choice. Thanks once again.

Good service. Would recommend

Repaired light switch. Brilliant. Clean. Filled around edges as they were rough. Will certainly use again.

We are delighted with the finished project. To install replacement floodlighting around our outdoor arena in Epsom Riding for the Disabled. Daniel was very prompt and professional at each stage and provided a clear and detailed quote. He engaged with a specialist, and hired appropriate access equipment to get the job done. He kept everyone informed and worked around some inclement weather. The final result is a ‘brilliant’ upgrade to our outdoor arena, No hesitation in recommending Zap Electrical.

Had a couple of issues in my flat; the dishwasher that had given up on life and a lighting fault that was driving me mad for months. I got in touch with Dan at Zap Electrical and he honestly couldn’t have been more helpful. He arranged for one of his colleagues to come out almost immediately, and both problems were pretty much sorted within three days of my first message. Super efficient, no fuss and really easy to deal with. I’ll definitely be using them again going forward. Highly recommend!

I wouldn't recommend ZAP, in particular for anything related to data (ethernet) cabling. - They miswired a third of the cables - clearly didn't properly test the cables before delivering. They fixed two I caught before moving in, but discovered another problem a month later... Two more cables I've not used yet. How many will be faulty? - They used a pretty cheap cable without shielding, hence more subject to interference, which I'm not suffering from now. - Said they "matched" the quote of a competitor, by actually removing two items from the scope of work. My bad for missing it at first, but that's not a professional and ethical behaviour to not highlight it at least. Overall, I'm very disappointed considering the 5 stars review they had, I thought it was a safe bet.

highly recommend ZAP electrical. He does a great job and has completed many projects for different clients with excellent results. He is reliable, professional, and knows his work very well. I’m very happy with the quality of his service I saw and would definitely recommend him to anyone needing electrical work.

Dan and team were fantastic. They installed the garden and driveway lighting at a property in Barnes. Very fairly priced, prompt and were very neat and tidy.

I needed 6 down lights installed and 6 others replacing. Dan came round at an agreed time, explained the whole process and was extremely clear and quoted a competitive price. On the day of the work, he and his team came over completed the job by lunchtime, were clean and polite. I would highly recommend him.

Dan and Eliot did a great job rectifying issues with my old electrical wiring, installing a new consumer unit, replacing lights and a bathroom fan and getting done what was needed for a EIC and EICR. Many thanks!

We highly recommend Zap Electrical! They installed both our EV charger and solar panels. Fixing the panels to our studio roof turned out to be more complicated than expected, but Dan went above and beyond to find the best solution. Communication was great throughout, and the team’s work was tidy and professional. We got quotes and met with a few other companies, but we’re so glad we chose Zap Electrical — Dan and Elliot make a fantastic team.

I recently had Dan and his team at Zap Electrical carry out a full rewire of my house, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the service. The standard of workmanship is outstanding every detail has been done with care and precision, and the end result is immaculate.
