March 2024 we had 10 solar panels fitted together with Solar Edge inverter and 9.5 kWh GiveEnergy battery and Give Energy EV charger. With one summer of reasonable sunshine done we are very pleased with Jellyfish Solar. Simon and team were knowledgeable and helpful in initial stages, explaing and sharing expertise. Price was competitive versus other quotes and once agreed, instalation was prompt and carried out quickly and professionally by polite and efficient staff. Simon and team have continued to be responsive and helpful post completion of installation. Helping to quickly resolve one or two small issues and provide a high level of additional technical assistance when needed. I would highly recommend!
I asked Simon to change the defunct solar panels meter which he did speedily and effectively. He then volunteered to go into the loft to read the inverters because I had no other means of finding out the data I needed to pass on to British Gas. He photographed everything I needed so I could register myself as the new owner of the solar panels. He went above and beyond and I now intend to give Simon the maintenance contract for the panels because I was so impressed with him.
Very knowledgeable about the solar industry and keeps up to date with the current technology , takes time explaining the different options that are available and what was best addition for my current system. Once the system was up and running, I was saving money on my electricity. Now the sun is out I'm not buying any.
We are delighted with our Solar System from start to finish and now it is powering our house and producing a generous amount to put back into the grid. The system was carefully designed to make the most of two aspects of our house to achieve maximum return. Simon, Anna and Gary kept us informed with every step of the process and everyone we dealt during the installation was friendly and helpful. The final handover document with all the datasheets, insurance details, schematics, warranties, etc. reassured me that Jellyfish Solar are interested in leaving it's customers happy they have received good value for their investment.
Simon has been absolutely fantastic fixing an issue that my original installer completely neglected. He was very responsive on email before came to my property, very knowledgeable and thorough while fixing my inverter and checking for any damage to the installation. He also gave me some handy tips on how to manage my system more effectively. Thanks Simon - appreciate your help! Easy five stars!
Jellyfish designed and installed a solar array and battery solution for our house and we could not be happier. Simon worked with us to build a bespoke system to maximise our budget and fit our requirements. The installation was very neat and quick. We also had a couple of small issues after the initial installation which were resolved quickly and without fuss. I would recommend 100% for anyone looking for commercial or home solar and/or battery installations.

Jellyfish Solar came up with an innovative solution to a solar installation on the flat roof of my terraced house loft extension. This allowed for more panels than other companies had quoted, a very neat GivEnergy battery installation and an EV charger. The team that did the installation were extremely efficient, tidy, polite and quick, and I was up and generating power within a couple of days. Following the install, support was most responsive, ironing out the few inevitable niggles with the same courteous attention to customer service. I highly recommend Jellyfish as a company to go to for expert advice, creative technical solutions and attentive after-sales support.
Jellyfish completed a very tricky battery install a few months ago and everything has been hunky-dory since then. They also helped with the Givenergy app set up and sorting out a few issues with the Wi-Fi - all done quickly and efficiently. Highly recommended company.
Recently purchased a property with solar panels that weren't operating and wanted to add a battery and EV charger to the system. After a little research, I found Jellyfish Solar as a listed installer for GivEnergy batteries. I needed a firm that could provide support. Simon has been great throughout the process, taking the time to explain it all and making sure the new kit is all working as it should. All up and running now and happy with the setup. Simon is a great guy and really helpful and knowledgeable with solar and battery systems. Very happy with supply and installation of a new GivEnergy EV charger... because it was so long in being supplied by GivEnergy, Simon loaned me and installed FoC a second hand Wallbox charger as a temporary measure while waiting. Great service from a great company...
