One reviewer says that Elliot at Brimble Tech LTD T/A Brimble Tech did good workmanship but told them their solar panels were set up to sell surplus energy back to the grid when this was not true. That reviewer says months of calls, messages and emails were met with excuses, and that Elliot later admitted he did not have the correct licences or certification, leaving the system incomplete. The same reviewer says a discounted battery was offered as compensation but contact stopped again. They say they do not recommend the business.

Overall Elliot is a nice guy and his workmanship is good. However, when he installed our solar panels, he confirmed everything was in place for any surplus energy to be sold back to the grid. He lied, as this was so not true. We called, messaged and emailed Elliot for months, only to be fobbed off with lame excuses. Finally, he admitted he didn’t have the correct licenses/certification to do this, so our system was incomplete! So, to help compensate us, he then offered a battery at a discounted price. Needless to say he went quiet again and we cannot get hold of him despite trying for a number of months! I believe we’ve given him a very fair opportunity to resolve the situation, but feel we have no other option but to warn others before using his business. Nice guy, but he definitely mislead us and the lack of communication is shocking. Definitely over-promises and under-delivers! For these reasons, we do not recommend this business and only rate it 1-star. Best spend your money elsewhere
