I recently had Martin Cook Electrical carry out an EICR and install emergency lighting at our commercial property in Leighton Buzzard. They were really easy to work with—on time, professional, and everything was done to a high standard. The price was fair too. It’s good to know there are local electricians you can count on. The team carried out a full refurbishment of our electrical system within one of our office block floors we look after and will be letting out. This included a full strip down of the electrics, a new electrical installation and various contract add ons including Emergency lighting design. Highly recommended.

We have a very old property with interesting electrics. Our insurance company requires an electrical inspection every 5 years. Kenny, from Martin Cook, came on a couple of occasions with his assistant to carry out the inspection. I have no idea how he worked it all out, but he did, and completed the work quietly and efficiently. I was also able to continue to WFH during the inspection despite the power being off at various times. I highly recommend Martin Cook as they were so efficient.

Kenny replaced our extremely loud bathroom fan which was fitted by the house builders and did a fantastic job, he was efficient, clean and tidy, we couldn’t fault his work. Not only did he do a fantastic job but he also helped me figure out which fan to replace the existing one with. We are so pleased with what he had suggested, it’s lovely and quiet but still very efficient. Will definitely use Martin Cook again!

Martin Cook Electrical Services carried out a number of Electrical Installation Condition Reports and Emergency Lighting annual testing reports in a number of our commercial properties in Bedfordshire. The guys were polite, on time and went above and beyond to ensure that everyone was aware when the power was going off and on. Was recommended to use this company by a consultant, and so glad i did. Met with their representative (James Randall) who is a very nice, friendly and well informed person. He explained the entire process to myself and the client, and quoted in a timely manner. job was instructed and went perfectly well. Now planning on using this company for other electrical works where possible. A nice genuine company that are very honest in their approach.

Martin Cook Electrical services investigated a fault within one of our properties. The engineer identified the issue within half an hour. He then advised me on the safest and most cost effective solution to solve the issue, of which we went for. After these works, we authorised MCES to carry out our fixed wire testing which was due and i was very impressed with all aspects of this. We received a programme of works and attendance confirmation before the engineers arrived and they made sure they only turned off circuits which would not interrupt our servers or I.T equipment. The paperwork was received within 3 days and was exactly what we required for the insurance company. The engineers were on time, tidied up after themselves and made sure they explained in simple terms what the issues were. I must add that their appearance was very professional and tidy. I’m very happy with the work carried out, and without a doubt I will be using them for continued works on our premises. I will be recommending them to anyone that needs any electrical work, whether that be domestic, commercial, or industrial.

I’m very impressed with the level of service I got from Kenny and his team at Martin Cook Electrical. I had an urgent electrical issue within my property - within an hour Kenny came out, identified the issue and rectified it within a very short time frame.
