We had installed an air source heat pump by greengen, we couldnt fault the fitting but and its a big but the after care/follow up is absoulutly diabolical. Appointments made, waited in, had time off work and no show and no explanation. We had to phone the office to let them know the plumber never showed up. Re booked assured we would be 1st call of day (by the office) time off work again, called office as no show and appatently double booked and would arrive with us 3 hours after time we were given. If this is their best after sales service i wouldnt bother either promoting them or taking out their after sales care plan.

We paid £175 for a service the young lad came and didn’t even take the front of the fan to clean it in fact he did nothingafter complaining he came back and still didn’t service the fan , I rang again to complain and the lady said he didn’t know the screws came out for god sake .

We had very specific requirements for our air source heat pump project with tight timeframes due to a leaking boiler and limited hot water. Neil from GreenGenUK listened to our needs and went out of their way to accommodate as much as possible, designing to spec. The survey was thorough and the presales spec was highly detailed. Jack, our GreenGenUK plumber, carried out the plumbing work to an exceptional standard (see photos). We used a different plumber to install our rads to reduce costs and GreenGenUK worked together with our plumber. However, in retrospect, we wish we had used GreenGenUK to perform the full install as their workmanship was neat and high quality and would have represented better value. We had personal aftersales service from the company director, Rob, who really knows all the technologies they sell. Overall, I can't fault the service and I don't think we were the easiest of customers! I would highly recommend the team and am looking forward to using them for my next project.

Ryan, Jordan and the team were spot on for the two weeks that there were in our home fitting the new heat pump system. Everything they did they asked before hand, kept us informed and cleaned up at the end of every day. Good system knowledge which made what was a disruptive job be not an issue. We have just had a solar system with battery and an Air Source Heat pump fitted by GreenGenUK and the experience was excellent throughout. Alan came to see us twice to discuss our requirements and help us to decide what system would be right for us…… no pushy sale talk just good honest advice. All of the trades people (roofers, electricians and heating engineers) that came to do the install (which was quite complicated) were very polite and friendly and showed a huge respect for our property;they were always prepared to answer any questions we had. They were all very professional and worked very hard to finish the install within the time quoted, which they did. All of GreenGen’s office staff were friendly and helpful whenever I raised any queries. It was great to get our install completed by a local Cornish based company and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who is thinking about ‘going green’ with their energy. We have seen a huge difference in our energy usage since we had the solar and battery fitted and are now ‘selling’ excess electricity back to the grid. Thank you GreenGen.

Everyone working on our job was professional, diligent and really went the extra mile to make sure that we were inconvenienced as little as possible which is not easy with 2 young children in the home. Three years ago we had the GreenGen boys to fit solar panels, they did such a good job, that when I had to have a new Air Source Pump fitted in April, they were the firm I turned to. They made a brilliant job, very professional, protected my furniture and carpets. Morgen the plumber and Adam the electrician worked so hard to get the job done to a very high standard. They were great with my dog, explained everything they needed me to know, and I would not hesitate to recommend them. In the office Rachael deserves a special mention, nothing is ever too much trouble for her. They really are a first class outfit.

Great company to deal with. Recently had new air pump heating system installed. The installers were efficient and professional and did an exceptional job. The plumbers Craig and Tristan and the electrician Jordan were all conscientious about the quality of their work and even stayed on late some evenings to ensure the project was completed on time and the the highest standards. The level of communication at all stages was exemplary. We would highly recommend this company.

I used Greengen to supply and fit ground source heating for my house, air source to heat a pool and pool building supplemented by solar thermal for the pool. After some initial teething troubles Greengen and particularly Shaun and Adam kept going to get the installations right and now it all works to maximum efficiency and is brilliant. I have a large PV array and batteries also supplied by Greengen and we generate enough electricity in the summer to run completely free of charge and we get paid sufficiently for our feedback to the grid to cover our grid bills through the winter. Greengen have provided me with exactly the solution to run our farm free of energy bills for the whole site and Shaun and Adam are both outstanding, highly skilled and a pleasure to have on our site. The maintenance program also means we have peace of mind moving forward.

Just had the guys at GreenGenUK fit a battery storage system for us having previously had solar panels and ASHP done on the GovEco4 scheme. The fitters Daniel here for the 3 days with help from Cam and Ben plus the roofers ( sorry didn’t catch your names) who removed and refitted a solar panel as we put in a new velux. Andrew Foulkes was very helpful as were all the staff. Am now looking into servicing the ASHP through them and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Wish we had known about them for the Gov Eco 4 scheme as would have used them instead.

Really delighted with the service and PV installation provided by everyone at GreenGenUK from start to finish. There have been a number of people involved and each is worth a mention:- 1). Initially visited by Alan, the owner's father, who discussed the various options re panels and battery and based on the really helpful advice I decided to wait for the UK release of the Tesla Powerwall 3 this autumn. 2). Elizabeth and Cameron were my initial contacts who not only produced the design of my system but also checked its suitability with the roof designer of my new house. this really helped me to commit to the project. 3). Roof and panel installers Lewis and his partner Ruby couldn't have been more helpful during the roof work and they considered my concerns regarding the wind exposure and decided to increase the number of joist supports for the project. 4). Electrical and battery installers, Zakk and Dan, helpful and efficient pair of technicians whose only issue was having to check the Tesla hardware updates once the installation was completed well within the original timescale. 5). Thanks to Jack and his team for coordinating the whole project and reacting to adverse weather, timing and organising the scaffolders who were mindful of not damaging, plants, lawn and patio. 6). Finally the support of Neil Lawrence who has worked tirelessly to get our project through the National Grid minefield of approval of the installation and the issue of the Electricity export license was greatly appreciated. Really found his advice regarding the Tesla and new Electrical supplier, Octopus, apps to be invaluable. Will certainty recommend GreenGenUK as a high class local PV and battery installer - thanks everyone.

Jordan and his colleagues, Dan and Finn, done the second stage of our air source heat pump installation. Back in the summer, Jordan was the lead electrician during the solar panel installation. Same as then, this time again, Jordan and his team's work was exceptional. Their professional knowledge and quality of their work was of the highest quality. Their attention to detail and to ensuring that the system not only works well but the work is also done neatly both in and outside the house exceeded our expectations. They arrived always on time and work tirelessly during the day with the aim to get the system up and running as quickly as possible. This was paired with their kind and polite way of communication. When the system was handed over to us, Jordan gave us a detailed walkthrough of it, explaining all the details, and answering all our questions. He made sure that we understand how the system works and that we are comfortable with operating it. We absolutely recommend them and GreenGenUK overall.

Was dreading everyone coming to our house , and the upheaval of it all . But rest assured from the first quote with Neil Rollinson , who was very honest in with what we did and didn’t need , as other companies wouldn’t start unless everything was new . We already had a unit in previously. To first the plumbing team then the electricians they just came in and got on with the job in such a professional manner they were quick , very tidy , mindful of safety and didn’t feel uncomfortable with them in our house . They have done a really neat job inside and out and we have had compliments on how nice the unit looks , which as you can imagine it’s a unit !! so obviously some companies are not fitting them with aesthetics in mind . We had the chance to upgrade our existing 8 year old ASHP to a modern R32 unit and change the pipework and position of the hot water tank for more space. GreenGen was our first choice of what was almost a custom system with useful discussion on modern systems and practices. Ben E was our principle plumbing expert who not only helped on the the best design/location but whose expertise, attention to detail and pure craftsmanship was superb, going above and beyond to understand what we wanted and making it happen.

Ben from GreenGenUK did a great job replacing the expansion tank on our heat pump and then repairing a leaking pipe which because of its location required some lateral thinking and problem solving. Would thoroughly recommend.

Bailey plumbing engineer, who headed the team as technically gifted to deal with any of the dynamics involved in installing our heat pump as highly recommended to deal with any project no matter the size . Their engineer Jack and his apprentice Archie have been excellent. Professional, friendly and have a great work ethic. Nothing was too much trouble. We will miss having them on site. We have recently had the GreenGenUK team install a Tesla Powerwall - completing the set of air-source heat pump and solar panels, which were installed last year - and we have been extremely pleased with the professional and friendly manner in which the installation was carried out. Recently, I had a PV array, battery, and zapping charger installed by Kyrah, Zakk, Ian, and Max. All the communication with GreenGen has been great. A small hiccup with the survey was resolved quickly when the fitters arrived. The four gentlemen who installed the system could not have been better, polite, efficient, and let the garage clean and tidy. The full system was installed in just over two days, including two of the coming back on a Saturday to finish the last few bits and pieces. Great work from Jordan who installed our Eddi yesterday to maximise energy from our solar panels.and helped me reinstall WiFi connections to Ecodan, GE and myenergi. All work done by GreenGen has been excellent.

I've just had GreenGenUK to install solar panels on my west facing roof to compliment my existing east facing array, and to integrate this into the existing battery storage. I must say what an excellent job was done throughout the whole process. From the initial sales visit, the quotation, through the detailed survey, the scaffold, the panel fitting and the wiring exercise, at every stage each team performed professionally and efficiently. I can't recommend them enough, especially the electrical team of Mike and Fionn who deserve a special mention for their friendly and helpful manner, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended. Just had panels, inverter & battery with double EPS plug fitted. Scaffolding included, all within 4 days. Simon(+1) did an excellent job fitting the panels on the roof on day 1 with Jake(+2) doing all the electrical day 2&3. Scaffolding down day 4. All the team were very professional, knowledgable, polite and very friendly throughout. Not the cheapest on the market however the quality of work was worth it. All the tech stuff (apps et) installed and explained before leaving, help line available for when we forget it all. Good supply of Tea, Coffee and choc biscuits did help. Excellent job, well done GreenGen.

I have had an excellent experience with this company at every step of the process of installing a new heating system (heat pump) and new radiators, (some in rooms that previously had no heating or pipe work in place which turns out to be complicated) , the care that was taken with my home and the service I was given has been impressive and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend GreenGenUk

Just had my heat pump installed by very friendly helpful electricians/plumbers. They worked hard to overcome a problem that I had regarding the placement of the pump to find a solution that worked. After sales service has been excellent so far (a month after installation) when I have had some queries regarding both the plumbing and the electrics (not being a particularly tech type person). I would definitely recommend this company particularly the individuals with whom I have had contact.

Alastair was a fantastic engineer and was incredibly motivated and thorough to get the best he could from our Air Source Heat Pump. Thoughtful, kind, considered, professional and clearly an expert in his field.

Wonderful local company who couldn’t be any more helpful if they tried. Special mention to rob for going that “extra mile” in getting my heating system up and running.

Disappointed with initial response to enquiry. Repeatedly asked to fill in an extensive survey which I'd really expect to be carried out as part of the quotation process. No advice at all available. I was told adjustments to the scheme would be easy but management criticised me for taking them up on the opportunity for flexibility. Once they bother to engage, staff are knowledgeable, helpful and flexible. There's a real management problem in that nobody within the business communicates effectively, leaving the customer utterly frustrated. My heat pump had to be installed before we were ready as admin had applied too early for the BUS voucher despite my explaining the timescale. I've been asked to pay for incomplete work. Still no idea where we stand with this, another reflection on inadequate communication. As part of works an electrician wired a thermostat to a light switch and left a live wire elsewhere. The chap who installed the radiators wrote in indelible marker on two bedroom walls after being specifically told the rooms were not being redecorated. There's no way I could recommend this company to anyone. After leaving my review I was contacted by a manager who is in complete denial, really dreadful way to treat a customer. This review has been repeatedly updated because I was promised solutions to problems raised but over-all actions have failed to meet promises.

Highly recommend! I needed to replace an old air source heat pump which had packed up during the pandemic. The quote was competitive, but it was the service that made the biggest difference - it was second to none. They are reliable which from my experience with similar companies in Cornwall this is a rarity!

This was an extremely complicated installation and the final phase for GreenGen to thread the new installation into an old Listed Building was seamless. Moreover post completion queries were dealt with promptly and efficiently. No more worries about oil deliveries and the spin off of having a pressurised shower is fantastic.

We had an air source heat pump installed in our granite built, old, Cornish house this summer (2021). The installation went well, and all the preliminary discussions about how to install it were really helpful and thoughtful. The resulting system works well for us. Greengen have always been responsive to our questions, before and after installation, and have come out to visit us when needed. I recommend the system, and Greengen as installers.

Fantastic to get our Air Source Heat Pump installed and working well in our dorma bungalow. Warm and economical - especially combined with our solar panels. So good our parents and a friend are getting their done by GreenGenUK too!

I found the team of installers excellent, respectful and tidy. The team was friendly and informative on progress of the work. A big well done to them. The only slight problem I had was lack of information about installation after paying the first lot of money. This was quickly sorted after a couple of phone calls. On the whole a first class job done.

We are very happy with the work GreenGenUK did for us. We found all their staff to be very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. We were given an install date and the team arrived on that day. During the installation one of the engineers noticed a problem with one of the major components, a replacement was quickly sourced and the team completed the work on time. Green Gen have provided a really good service since the very first phone call. They were quick to respond to questions and fitted our installation in surprisingly quickly. The engineers who fitted our heat pump were quick and took the time to explain how to use the new system. I was also impressed at Green Gen’s handover pack and help provided with applying for RHI credits. Overall a good experience.
