Reviews
5.0
Parks Electrical Ltd is a local electrical business whose customers repeatedly mention Tom and his team for solar panel, battery and EV charger work, as well as general electrical jobs and a kitchen remodel. Several reviewers describe the team as friendly, polite and tidy, and say the work was left clean, neat or to a high standard. Two reviewers say they were given clear advice and explanations about solar options, and one adds that his questions were answered promptly. A single reviewer reports that their solar and battery job took a number of weeks rather than a few days, noting a known wait for the battery and that Tom had a baby during the work. Other customers describe installations that went as planned, including one with a few small setbacks that did not cost more.
Great local service, professional and very reasonably priced. I was expecting independent installation to be more expensive, but you get local trades, better spec equipment, and they are available for any after sales service, for the same price. The installation team were friendly and polite. I would recommend them to anyone looking for solar installation or even electrical work. Very trustworthy local business.
Tom and his team did a great job last year installing a 12 kw solar system, with lithium batteries and inverter on a barn next to my house. A dc coupled system, that works on and off grid, so we get the best of both options. Can’t recommend parks electrical enough. Regards Duncan
Tom spent time with us discussing various Solar Panel options and explaining how each system would work for us along with the advantages and disadvantages of each. He was later prompt at responding to our questions and once we decided which system to have it was pleasure to have him and his team work at our property. The installation went as planned and they left our house clean and tidy.
Tom installed an EV charger at our home and was forthcoming with advice when we were looking at options. Communication was great and the work very tidy.
Tom and team did a quality job of my solar and battery install. I was going to use one of the big national firms but opted to use a local contractor having been recommended by a friend and was not disappointed. Job was completed over a number of weeks rather than a few days but in fairness there was a known wait for the battery and Tom did have a baby in the middle of things!
Very pleased , Tom and his team done a excellent install
Fantastic experience, on time, professional, knowledgeable and friendly.
Excellent Electrician I would Highly recommend Tom & his team, The work he has carried out for me over my projects he has kept to a very high standard with great attention to detail. Reliable, Professional, Friendly and tidy through out with excellent communication from start to finish
We had a full kitchen remodel and parks were fabulous. Friendly technicians, tidy workers and the job looks brilliant
We had a lot of questions for Tom before we went ahead. His calm attitude in dealing with all our concerns was much appreciated. The install team arrived on the date agreed. They were polite and professional and worked continuously until our Hypervolt Pro EV charger was installed and operational. They dealt with a couple of glitches with no increase in the cost. My wife and I would have no hesitation in using this company again. Next project is potentially a solar PV installation.
I am thrilled with my solar panels. They were fitted efficiently by Tom who was knowledgeable and reliable.
Tom and his Parks Electrical team put in the electrics with a smart home system (Loxone) that has been amazing.
Tom came and installed a solar system on our house. He was very knowledgeable about the systems, offering sound advice, and carried out the work in a professional manner all at a competitive price. We are very pleased with the system he installed and would highly recommend.
Tom installed an inverter and battery system for me recently. The communication, service and support provided was excellent. The installation looks tidy and professional, and, of course, it works. Would highly recommend.
Fantastic installation of solar panels and battery. Very neatly done, and able to work with my location requests. Even helped repair a roof vent, and ensured the visible tiles matched colour. Well within my budget, and the quote remained the same. Despite weather delaying the scaffold, other items were finalised, meant that total install time was only a few days, and could've been less if weather had aligned. Has been helpful regarding the apps and monitoring software, and should I require any further changes or updates I am confident they will be able to assist.
Cannot praise Parks Electrical Ltd high enough. A really professional neatly installed job. The Givenergy All-in-one system is working seamlessly with my existing Solar-Edge Panels. Many thanks indeed to Tom and Ollie for their sterling work.
Used Parks Electrical for solar installation on our house. Tom was great at explaining the process and options to ensure we got exactly what we wanted and all work was completed to an exceptional standard. Cannot rate Tom and his team more highly. Will be using Parks Electrical again!
Tom Parkin of Parks Electrical recently installed a GivEnergy 9.5 kWh storage battery with an AC coupled inverter, to link to our solar panels,as well as a Myenergi Zappi car charger. Throughout the process Tom has been extremely helpful, giving good advice and explaining clearly how everything works. The standard of work is excellent and as well as being thoroughly professional, Tom is a really nice guy. Highly recommended!
Before I start get yourself a pen and write down the name and phone number of Parks Electrical Ltd in a book or in the computer, tell all your friends and neighbours about this company and you will thank me for it, I kid you not, when you see the quality and standard of their work, you really will thank me or should I say thank them, for doing a brilliant job. How many out there have said "I really wish we could find a GOOD electrician." Tom Parkin and his team do anything and that includes Solar Panels and that is what Tom and his team did for me, Solar Panels and what a wonderful job they did, superb. The job on the fuse box is so neat and tidy you can see it was done by a professional, unlike some which I have seen on YouTube which looks like spaghetti junction. The inverter which was placed in the garage, once again a beautiful job, looks so good in the garage and finally the solar panels, sits so well on the roof which took little time to do. My birds were so impressed with the solar panels they all came to have a party. Tom gives a great service, advice and help what ever your needs and they really are outstanding, you will not be disappointed, that is why I give five stars to Tom and his team. Thank you for what you have done and I wish you well.
