R.B Electrical (Halifax) Ltd

Still waiting on installation certificate after 1 year I initially had a good experience with RB electrical, as they installed first batteries and then a solar panel inverter for me to a high standard. However I did not receive the installation certificate and have been chasing them ever since. It has now been a year and I see no other options than to leave a negative review.

Contacted Andy Monday morning. He arrived promptly at agreed time that afternoon. Checked our EV charging point, identified problem, tried to obtain part but none available so ordered for next day. As on Monday he arrived at agreed time on Tuesday afternoon, fitted the part and explained what he had done to me. Have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Andy and RB Electrical.

Fantastic service by rob! He came out at 7.30pm to fix my faulty plug socket that had tripped all the upstairs electric due to water damage. Fast, friendly service and very well priced. Highly recommend.... 5 star service 🌟

R.B Electrical swiftly identified the issue I had with an electric fire and sockets built into my media wall. R.B Electrical installed new sockets, and sorted out the fuse and carried out safety tests. From the first call to let me know that they were on their way right through to the completion of the job they were professional, courteous and very efficient. I would highly recommend R.B. Electrical and I will have no hesitation in contacting them for my future jobs.

I had Ev charger installed at home recently by R.B electrical team ( Andy and team ). 5* service and compatitive prices 👍,

Very prompt response and very professional, would use again and would recommend!

We asked for a number of smaller electrical jobs. Andy turned up on time, got straight on with the job without any fuss and we are very pleased with the outcome for a fair price. Recommended.

Installed an EV Charging Unit. Prompt, good quality work. Good value for money. Polite staff who offered support and advice. Will hopefully use again. Many thanks. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Asked RB to fit an EV charger at a new address after Podpoint messed me around. After a thorough survey thr quote arrived very promptly, and the work started a day later. The job turned out to take longer than they'd expected - but everyone on the team kept working on it until the job was done, and remained cheerful, friendly and polite all the way through. I'm really pleased with the neat and tidy job, and enjoyed having the guys round while the work was going on. A fine bunch who do excellent work - highly recommended.

Replaced EV charging unit at home. Used online website to request work, quote arrived first thing on Monday (Submitted Sunday). Fast response to queries regarding replacement charger unit and installation site. Arranged for job to be undertaken promptly. On day team were punctual, friendly and courteous. Replacement charger installed hassle free and Rob's team ensured the EV charger was working with vehicle and also went through its smart phone app. Thank you.

Always had great service, friendly and prompt.

Shameful service. Don't waste your time with this joke of a company.

Lady who took the call had a bad attitude

I used this firm to install CCTV at my home. From first to last the service was first class. Competitive prices, excellent workmen and completed on time. Would highly recommend this firm whether domestic or commercial.

We have used R.B services now for a number of years since 2015. The service has been prompt and the work carried out in a neat professional manner. Of particular note was their attendance at our Assembly Rooms following the traumatic affect on our electrical systems following the boxing day floods of 2015. Invoices are rendered promptly and costings are fair.

I can't praise Rob and his team enough. The standard of work and attention to detail is to an extremely high level. Rob comes on time when coming to view work to be undertaken and then sends costings to us in a good timescale in order for us to set a date. Rob and his team are honest and I have never had a problem leaving a key with them and the bonus is we always come home to find they have cleaned up after their work. We have used Rob several times this year having a new consumer unit fit and then additional sockets put in etc. He even rewired my vacuum . Would I recommend? Absolutely I would.
