Can’t fault these guys, which I why we had them for another charger at our offices. Engineer was great quick and reliable. Definitely recommend EV Heroes if you want chargers fitting.

All Comms were handled really well from first contact with EV Heroes, explained what would suit me best in terms of chargers, how they work, due to be with octopus they informed me on what they could offer. With the charger I had installed I'm able to make money from it using the app. Rebecca handled all my queries really well. Installer was polite, informative, installed exactly how I wanted it. Brilliant service all round. Highly recommend.

Great service from start to finish. Easy internet based process, including taking photos of proposed site, but with immediate support by phone if needed. The technician completely rethought the chosen route from consumer unit to charge point. He hid the wiring completely under the floor boards from hallway to drawing room then out via a gas inlet cupboard. Apart from the new EV unit on the wall you wouldn't know any work had been carried out. Very pleased with job. As near as could possibly be. I would add a photo, but there's nothing to see!

Not the easiest of installs to do due to the size and complexity of the building but install is now in and all working as it should. Maddison helped to overcome some issues we ran into and accommodated our limited availability to be home at times .

The EVEC app is under developed when compared to others used previously, for example, you are unable to constantly schedule successful charging times that actually work. This is a critical component of any charging app to get right! EV Heroes Customer Services themselves recommend switching the charging point to ‘Manual mode’ and use your cars scheduling, rather than theirs. The user forums are full of issues relating to the app scheduling. I’m sure it’s not all bad, but I would avoid personally as there are better options out.

Awesome experience. Great customer service with timely communication throughout the entire process. All my questions answered prior to putting in the order for the charger. I didn't have to wait too long for the install. The installation was tidy and professional, and time spent with me going over how to use the app. I am very pleased with the end result and would highly recommend EV HEROES.

Survey completed and then quoted for an installation. Deposit paid and install booked in. Next day came back to me to advise further work was required (not picked up on original survey review) and advised me to get work completed elsewhere before their install. Should have been picked up on the survey. I don't expect quotes to be changed after deposits paid.

Outstanding service from EV Chargers - from initial point of contact through to charger being installed it has been a pleasure to work with Rebecca. Conor came today to install the charger and has completed an excellent job - working to a very high standard. I cannot recommend EV chargers more highly and would like to thank Rebecca and Conor who have represented the company to the highest of standards.

I would avoid this company. I had an EV charger installed by Octopus, there was an issue with the app showing an incorrect solar reading. Octopus told me to change the "CT clamp" to turn it around, if that didn't work they would send somebody out with an 8 week lead time, or have a local company fix it and they would cover the bill. I then rang EV heroes. They were brilliant, Suzanne was friendly and helpful. She arranged for somebody to come out in a couple of days. The engineer came and was brilliant too. He swapped the broken CT clamp as a contingency and said the issue was with the data going to the charger. He said it was a couple of hour job and the office would contact me. This is where it all went wrong. I started dealing with Maddie who wasn't helpful at all. She was hard to get hold of and didnt return my calls. When I did speak to her she told me that they dont usually do work where other companies have done the install - why on earth did they agree to come out then?! She also told me there was an issue with my solar panels and it would need a solar expert to come out. She continued to act slowly and I then received an excessive invoice of £460 for the work. This included the cost of 2 CT clamps, the callout fee and £200 for a solar expert to come. EV heroes then emailed me to say they had reviewed all the correspondence and felt they could no longer do any work for me. They told me as a goodwill gesture they would remove the cost of 1 CT clamp but insisted they had changed 2 to ensure they were the same style to prevent conflicts. The 2 different styles remain in my meter cupboard to see. I informed them if they were going to tell me they wouldn't complete the job I wouldn't have agreed to instruct them and offered to pay for 1 CT clamp and £50 towards the initial visit. Maddie then said she would take me to court if I did not pay immediately and would go to Octopus to tell them the invoice was invalid - as if to suggest I was acting fraudulently and trying to get them to pay for work that didn't get done in the end. I then spoke to a solicitor and they advised me that EV Heroes had breached the contract. The invoice clearly stated the £150 fee was for a callout AND to "ensure CP Working correctly" which it still was not after they changed the CT clamp. I sent a pre-action letter and Maddie replied in a passive aggressive tone saying my communication style was poor and their customer service is excellent. It was quite surreal, the letter I wrote was professional and based on a template from the solicitor! Eventually Maddie said she would refund the callout fee, I still agreed to pay the cost of the CT clamp as it is not fair to receive money back for a physical part that they had installed. My advice therefore is to be very cautious about this callout fee. I assumed it places some expectation on them to complete the job - not to come out and tell me what work needs doing but then refusing to do anything further. They could go around being called out but never actually doing anything and receiving £150. Doesn't make sense does it. Also consider whether you want to deal with Maddie. She seemed to have a delusional viewpoint that her customer service was excellent but the reality is she would not accept that they got the CT clamp wrong, even with photographic proof. Offering to take it off as "goodwill" is not customer service - it is doing what they should have done at the start and apologised for. It seems she can't accept when she is wrong which is a huge problem if you work in customer service. Also for her to suggest she would contact Octopus is disgusting. It is a flagrant breach of GDPR and questions my integrity suggesting I would consider acting fraudulently. Please think long and hard about using EV Heroes. You'll see similar reviews and their passive aggressive replies on here when something goes wrong. The fact they refunded my money speaks volumes too - they can say whatever they like about this but if they believed they were right they would have defended their position at court.

I recently had my EV charger installed through Ev Heroes, commissioned via Qmerit and Polestar. Unbeknownst to me, the installation was subcontracted to Aero EV Solutions from Boughton. On the very first night, I encountered an issue: my Zaptec charger displayed an abnormal voltage warning and my car failed to charge. I have since learned that this was due to a voltage issue at my transformer, which is now being addressed by National Grid. Initially unaware of the cause, I contacted Ev Heroes for support. Unfortunately, their response was dismissive—they informed me that the issue was not their responsibility and advised me to contact my Distribution Network Operator (DNO). Upon contacting my DNO, I was told that the installation company needed to confirm their work before the DNO could intervene. When I relayed this to Ev Heroes, they again offered little assistance and were generally unhelpful. In contrast, Tom from Aero EV Solutions, who had performed the installation, proactively reached out to me. He thoroughly explained the likely voltage issue, contacted both Zaptec and my DNO on my behalf, and did everything possible to assist. In summary, Aero EV Solutions demonstrated excellent customer service and support, while my experience with Ev Heroes was disappointing. In my view, a company is defined by how it responds when things go wrong. Aero EV Solutions excelled in this regard; unfortunately, Ev Heroes did not.

After purchasing my EV charger, with fitting included I was passed onto EV Heroes to make my fitting booking. I was given a date within 2 weeks and this was carried out yesterday. I was really pleased with the fitters attention to detail and quality of work completed. Thank you very much 👍🏻

I got my charger installed fantastic all from start to finish but they never sent the electric certificate after asking and asking at least it was installed by a proper good sub contractor.

My job required pulling cables from the box outside the house to the detached garage. The team did a good job of concealing the cables well. Would recommend them.

I shopped around for an EV charger but couldn't find a company I liked. either the quote seemed too high or they sounded like they didn't want to be on the phone with me like Ovo. I filled in the online form Friday evening and received a call back first thing Monday morning from Charlie, he was very polite, answered my 20 thousand questions, didn't push me when I said I needed to discuss with my husband and gave me a very competitive quote. I rang back after not too long and decided to go with EV Heroes, charlie was great and outlined everything they needed and sent me the survey to complete, he sent the invoice and booked me in for the following Monday making sure to keep me updated in the meantime and advised a 2-hour time slot from 1 pm. Dead on 1 pm today Alex and John came to fit the charger, they were both lovely and polite and weren't annoyed when I told them I didn't know where my water bonding or stop-tap was and listened to where I thought it was, they helped me take off the kitchen drawer while they looked and tested but they could not find it either. I advised them that my consumer unit is getting upgraded on Thursday as it is very old and they told me that it wouldn't affect the installation however the upgrade I booked should include the water bonding being added. they also told me I needed an upgraded earth and gas bonding as well which they advised they could do but seeing as I already have an electrician coming in 2 days it should also be included in order to pass and get the safety certificate. I was able to relay this to the electrician and he confirmed it was included and he would do this. In the meantime they advised head office of this plan to which they agreed and they went ahead and installed the charger, they was very quick and efficient and tidied up after themselves even by putting the kitchen drawer back on for me. After they explained it was all connected but turned off at the fuse all I had to do Thursday when the electrician was done was to flip the fuse switch on and send them photos of the unit and bondings so they could pass it on to the DNO. They gave me the details for aftercare if needed and a pack with spares and an instruction manual however they still took the time to explain it to me and helped me install the app and how to use it. I am very happy from the beginning to the end of installation and will definitely recommend them to anyone who asks. I just can't wait to get my car and charge it. oh and as an added bonus they ended up finding my stop-tap for me under a false panel beneath the electrics that I didn't know came out so that saves me having to go outside every time I need to turn my water off.

Disgusting customer service- please avoid !!!! I’ve applied online for home charger following that the company phoned me and went through all the details, type and model of car. The charger was installed and later that week I found out the charger not working properly when you set up on timer which is the main reason I’ve purchased it to use over the night. The company was fully aware of the issue with Volvo cars but has hide the information about this issue in order to make it sell. Absolutely, horrible experience with dealing with the staff ! I found them rude and try to blame the client but evidently they kept the very significant information to themself. Please be aware of this when buying from this company as they are not keen in resolving the issue and they are only concerned about the invoice. I will be seeing an advise from a citizen advisor. You can tell if the company care about their clients rather than profit when they aren’t helping to solve the problem but rather making you more problems! Please avoid find a better company!

I wish there was 0 start to give. Absolutely disgusting customer service . Took my deposit without telling me its nonrefundable . Don't use these guys these are rip off . Don't get stuck with these lot .

Sadly this company failed to respond to messages and is now refusing to return my £200 deposit. Having tried to use both their website and email, I got no response but when I cancelled suddenly I did get a response! My confidence had gone but they are trying to keep my deposit so I cannot recommend. They also became quite aggressive once I cancelled.

EV Heroes was the first company that quoted for my electric car charger and was very competitive. We agreed a date in which Conor came to carry out the fitting of the unit, I was very happy with the work he was neat and tidy. Once he had finished he cleaned up everything. He then went through all the steps of how to set up the charger. Very happy with my new EV Heroes Ohme charger unit.

Awful. Spent ten months waiting for this company to install my charger before finally giving up and going elsewhere. Constantly promising to get the job done, but they always had an excuse. Changed the price three times while I was waiting for the job to be done - how does a price keep on going up when there’s been no further survey? Wouldn’t reply to emails for weeks on end, and wouldn’t even clarify why the cost has risen, trying to get me to agree to have the work done, saying they’d let me know the final price once it had been finished. Hmm, let me guess, the final price would have been higher again? LOL at the reply, that old ‘maybe you’ve reviewed the wrong company’ attempt to wriggle out of being terrible. Anyway - if anyone decides to use EV heroes, rest assured that you’ll be dealing with an entirely awful company that doesn’t have any level of customer service and seems to pluck prices out of the air based on what they need to make that week

Absolutely disgusting service. I was supposed to get my charger installed this morning. Made arrangements for my severly autistic son to be out of the house. Waited 2 hours then called. I was told there was a note on the system to contact motability. So I explained the situation and asked if it was still getting installed. The girl said I can't tell you anything speak to motability. I asked why I had not been contacted. Her reply was they only received the notification through at 6pm Friday and they were closed! No apology! After calling motabilty and them not having a clue what I was talking about, the lovely man called this company and was told a pack of lies. The lady said they tried to call me and left a voicemail. Well I hope they are happy. Upset me and my son as well as disrupting everyone else's day.

EV Heroes installed my Easee charger and to say I’m pleased is an understatement. Very professional from start to finish. Rachel West is a credit to the company answered all my questions and helped with any queries I had in relation to the charger. Definitely recommended A+ for service.

Fantastic EV wall box very happy with it, much smaller than I was expecting. EV Heroes did an amazing job from planning to permission and fitting.

Did not give us correct information. They had information that our drive may need to be dug up by electricity company to fit all new cabling and upgrade main fuse on feed to consumer unit. They just wanted our deposit which they won’t return even though they didn’t give me correct info. Their fault, desperate to get your deposit AVOID. If you do contact them ask if there is a chance the electric board will come and dig your driveway way up and your garden. See if they tell you.

Disgusting company with rude and condescending staff. Avoid at all costs. Completely mis-advised us to obtain deposit then after deposit taken they eventually provided accurate information and then refused a refund. Must be absolutely desperate to go to such lengths to keep our £50, which isn't a great sign is it.... As if we would ever continue with the installation after this!? Trading standards and small claims court it is! AVOID

All aspects of planning and fitting were superbly handled by ev heroes. Online survey was carried out for suitability was comprehensive but easy to complete, on the day of fitment Luke arrived at the appointed hour 8am and had it up and running by 10am despite having to drill nearly 1m through a hard limestone wall. He made sure my wife and I were conversant with the wifi activation and left his contact details just in case of problems a truly first class service I would not hesitate to recommend ev heroes to anyone having a charger fitted.

Josh and Jonny who fitted the charger were exceptional. Brilliant job done, cleaned up perfectly afterwards and explained really well how the charger worked - top fellers. And a thanks to Rachel in the office for sorting my order.

Unprofessional, The manager and owner Olivia Benjamin is extremely rude and abusive. Staff tells you one thing and management tells you something else. Wasted two months if my time and had to cancel due to the appalling attitude of Olivia Benjamin. They quoted me double what others did because their staff are not allowed to use ladders. They record phone calls and then refuse to review the recordings when they mess up. They are a sub contractor for easee chargers and I am appalled that easee chargers use such a disgraceful company. Only use these people if you like having your time wasted and being abused and threatened.

Great company to deal with. They installed my charger 1 year ago, very professional and was very pleased. One year later UK power networks needed to update something on our meter, when they came they disconnected the charger cables from the meter claiming it was unsafe. This was a mistake by UK Power networks and EV heros helped me get them to come and reconnect it, which was not easy. Multiple phone calls were required but EV heros got it done. To top it off - because it was UK power networks mistake and EV heros helped me prove it, UK power networks gave me compensation.

What an excellent company from Julie in the office to Luke and Darron the installers. All gave me help and guided me through any quires I had. Well done to you all.

Unprofessional, unreliable! Avoid at all costs!

What a fantastic service. Was apprehensive having a charger fitted as didn’t want a cable running around the two hundred year old property to the garage on the other side. Fitter came and acknowledged my concerns, he then started the work by going under the floor and took the cable under the house to the other side, through the wall to under the path, into the garage then back out to the charger on the wall. Absolute fantastic job, not one inch of cable on show, looks like we get electric by magic. Highly recommend this company if thinking of an EV charger, doubt any other company would of taken the time and trouble to get it the way I wanted and a neat job. Can’t recommend them highly enough.
