Joe Newton Electrical Ltd

Professional and efficient. I would certainly use this company again for all my electrical and plumbing issues. I have every confidence in this company. It has taken me some time to find a trade I feel I can trust.

A very friendly professional team from the initial enquiry through to job completion, also really appreciated the reminder that the boiler service was due as I do tend to miss it, thanks

Good workmanship and would be 5 stars if not that is seemed a little expensive. We did have 2 visits to assess I must admit so I suppose those tot up. The bill was as per quotation from the first visit but the work was less than originally thought. Maybe I am being a little unrealistic as to cost.

We had an urgent problem with a cable on site causing loss of power, they understood the problem quickly through live video call and sent someone out straight away to fix the problem to highest of standards. #5star

Aaron came to our rented property on 3Nov23. He came to remove a non functioning extractor fan and to replace it with a new unit. Throughout his visit he was very professional and helpful with a willing attitude to go the extra mile. The surrounding kitchen unit panels were very stained and greasy. Instead of just installing the new unit into the space he detached them and cleaned them carefully. Aaron impressed me as a valuable and trustworthy employee. We would be delighted if he ever had cause to come back to help us. Please tell Aaron what I have said about him. This is an encouragement for him and others. Ps I think there is an employee called Darron. Was this the correct name or was it Aaron?!

Effeicent helpful friendly. Highly recommended

Had a couple of small electrical jobs some other company's didnt want to do, they were very friendly helpful and efficient, couldnt of asked for better.

Contracted undertake a range of electrical matters in our older property, sockets, switches, PIR lighting and light fitting. Great work, very tidy, would highly recommend.

Quick, efficient, knowledgeable staff member who sorted the issue out with no fuss . Would definitely use again.

Joe was really professional and helpful and easy to deal with. Gave us some great recommendations and carried out the work promptly.

Joe Newton Electrical were absolutely fantastic. They replied to me promptly, arrived right on time, and helped us check that the flat’s floor heating system was working properly. He made sure everything was running smoothly before he left, which really reassured us. Since there was nothing that needed repairing, they didn’t charge me anything at all, I truly appreciate. Their honesty and professionalism really stand out. Highly recommended, and I’m 100% sure I will use their services again whenever I need the services in the future

We've used Joe and the team on a few jobs, including installing a new boiler, and they always respond to enquieries really quickly, do a great job and are friendly and generally great to work with. Will continue to keep using them whenever jobs come up.

Very efficient. Personable staff. Came to the house when they said they would. Prompt quote and skilled workman arrived at time agreed and carried out a clean and tidy job. Cannot fault them.

Arrived as promised on time. Ferguson was great. As always so reliable!

Ricky and Billy were very friendly and professional. They were happy to answer my questions, quick to solve the electrical issues with my extractor fan and overall amazing service. 10/10 would recommend Joe Newton services again.

Another excellent job well done by a brilliant team. My go to choice for my electrical issues.

Can’t fault this company. From communication to service they have been brilliant. The work was carried out to a high standard and in a timely fashion. The electrician who carried out my job was professional, friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend them for any electrical work.

A great company to deal with. Friendly advice and very professional work installing our electric car charger. Will definitely use them again for any other electrical works.

Quick response dealt with professionally and at a very reasonable price

Excellent job from start to finish, really professional company, great customer communication, quality workmanship from Mark. Would highly recommend.

Joe and his guys have provided all of the plumbing, heating and electrical work on our recent extension. This involved a new bathroom and bedroom and quite significant changes elsewhere in the property. They’re clearly knowledgeable and the quality of finish is excellent.

A plumber fitted a brand new radiator for us in our kitchen, he was very polite & clean while working. Highly recommended 10/10 Extra points for taking the massive radiator box and packaging with him instead of leaving it in our recycling bin 👏🏼

A job well done. We are very happy to recommend Joe Newton Ltd. for plumbing and electrical work, especially as they did a very clean job, with no mess to clear up.

Fantastic!! The team saved Christmas with a rewire of our building and an unexpected oven emergency to boot! The loveliest and most helpful team. Full recommend, 10/10

Upcycle Interiors have used Joe Newton Electrical & Plumbing for numerous jobs, and we will keep coming back for more - because they are reliable. They turn up on time, communicate, and provide proper written quotations. Their prices are spot on for the high *quality service* they provide, as the saying goes "buy cheap buy twice". They are a great dependable and professional team . Thanks again from Mark at Upcycle Interiors Limited

We've been super-happy with Joe and his colleagues. Highly recommended. We discoevered Joe through a previous small job at our colttage where they were sub-contracted by our builder. This week, they replaced a whole lot of ageing night-storage heaters with modern, programmable radiators at our rather old and crumbly cottage in Dorset. Joe gave great advice, answering every email really quickly. We were away when they did the job over a couple of days. We returned to find everything completed absolutely perfectly. The cabling from our meter was rewired as needed. Everything just right. New radiators installed, firmly fixed to our walls of various weird and historic materials. Other than the radiators being installed, we wouldn't have known they'd been here! The heavy old contraptions full of grime and bricks had been dismantled and taken away without any fuss, or dust. Through no fault of theirs, one of the new radiators had a little fault. They responded instantly and had sourced and installed a new one within 24 hours. Unbelievable! Everything friendly, cheerful, efficient, responsive and charged exactly the price agreed in advance. We are very happy (and warm!) bunnies indeed. Thank you Joe and Mark! All the best, Jon (Dorset DT2)

Have used Joe and his team on several occasions. They are brilliant and we would highly recommend.

Thank you so much for helping me out today! I’m so grateful, you really went out of your way, so thanks again :)

I have been considering creating an en suite shower room and effecting some external works at my property but was somewhat daunted by managing a project. Joe Newton Electrical, Plumbing and Heating Services and James Newsam Construction were recommended by neighbours. Joe and James, who often work in collaboration, came to assess what was required and quote a week after contact. Options were discussed, sensible advice given and a detailed quote and anticipated start date followed shortly thereafter. The Project commenced on the agreed start date with a team of professional, pleasant, experienced, local trades arriving one after the other! all were well-briefed, hard working and consulted me in relation to any decisions (style of doors, placement of switches etc) as necessary. The ethos and importance of "Customer Satisfaction" was obvious throughout. Any queries I had were responded to by Joe or James, usually within the hour. Joe managed the sequence of events entirely for all the electrical and plumbing work, which was completed to a very high standard. I am delighted with my new En Suite Shower Room, it is spacious, practical and stylish and will doubtless add value to my property. I have no hesitation in recommending Joe Newton Electrical, Plumbing and Heating, who I will definitely use again. PS the final Invoice was exactly as quote and I literally could not fault any part of the service I received.

Joe and his colleagues did the electrical work and plumbing on our houses renovation. The electrical work carried out (mainly) by Aaron and his trusty assistant Billy is superb. Aaron is extremely methodical in his approach and it shows with the end result. We also had a mini wet room built. The end result is stunning. The tiling and the tanking beneath the tiling was done to an extremely high standard. The tiler Steve is a lovely chap and again, extremely methodical in his approach. Towards the end of the project the final bits of plumbing were completed by plumber Aaron and John. Again the work was to a high standard and it was a pleasure having them in our home. We would definitely recommend using Joe and his team and we will be next spring for the other bathroom to be renovated. Thanks Joe and team. Andy and Lisa. Also I think it’s wonderful that Joe takes on apprentices, to train the next generation of electricians.

I asked for a quote he came round took all the details..I phoned up a week later and was told they hadn't got round to it never heard from them again .dreadful service absolutely shocking if they didn't want my job they should of just said

Over priced! Washing machine bung and silicone sink cost me over £198.00. Disgusting charge. Not a happy customer. Templehill lettings agency. You did work on my house. I only have 1 rental house hence why you probably think landlords can afford extortionate rate's.

Ceiling fan fitted quickly and professionally. Friendly service. Couldn’t be more pleased.

Such an excellent service. Thorough, professional and friendly service. Plus he was so helpful and knowledgeable in all the information that he gave me about the system and best use of it. I was so impressed by the service and would highly recommend him.

Absolutely outstanding service from start to finish, faultless communication throughout, and very professional! I will only ever use this company in the future for my clinic; Dorchester Foot Clinic Ltd. Can't thank you enough :-)

Wonderful job done fixing our new tap Very good and efficient service

We had no electricity and an electrician was here within an hour. They didn’t leave until we had lights and essential sockets working. They then came back a few days later and made sure everything was working. After another week they came back and did a complete electrical test and we are currently awaiting there recommendations about any works required to prevent any future issues.

Highly recommended. We used Joe Newton Electrical for installing power to our garage and an outside security light. Everyone we met was always courteous, friendly and punctual, and we were pleased with the work. We required a couple of adjustments post installation and Joe Newton Electrical were extremely helpful - clearly committed to ensuring that we were fully happy with the work, even getting in touch and asking to pop round and check up on things without us asking! Would certainly use again and recommend to others.

Very helpful, prompt and pleasant

Fast and efficient response as is the norm from this high performing company. Kieran fixed my two electrical issues extremely quickly and efficiently today and was very professional throughout. Keep up the great work team Joe Newton!! A pleasure to deal with.

I ave used Joe Newton twice and both times have had excellent prompt service.

Excellent service and quality of work.

Responding promptly to my enquiry, work was very neat and professional. An extra request was accommodated on the day with no problem. Reasonable cost for time spent. Will use again.

Would highly recommend Joe Newton. Darren came to our home who was very professional and friendly, turned up the day and time they said they were coming. Each job was done to exceptional standard and amazed how tidy he had left each job. Definitely would use again.

We had plumbing and electrical work completed. Everyone we dealt with was professional, courteous and friendly. Work was carried out in a timely manner and was completed to a high standard. I would definitely use again and I would (& have already) recommend them.

What a great find! We are so happy that we found and used Joe Newton! Everything was so easy and efficient. Darren came out to our property on time and got the work done (which had previously been a real problem for a couple other local electricians). He left the place so tidy, it was impossible to tell he'd been there at all! The job was done to a very high standard. We will be using them again! Thank you!

5 Star Service

Arrived on time. Good quality products supplied. Delighted with outside light and new extractor fan in toilet. Work carried out very efficiently and room left pristine. Very reasonable price quotation. Overall, an excellent service supplied and I have no hesitation in recommending this company

Enormous gratitude for Joe's help when I arrived home to a house full of active alarms. Not only did he come to help, spent time explaining to me how to deal with a similar event and ensured that I now understand how the system (which was installed by another contractor) works. Outstanding customer care and professionalism. Thank you.

Great experience and went out of their way to help me with a wiring fault on a machine polisher today in Dorchester. Many thanks again Gary

Joe Newton Electrical has been amazing working along side us on jobs where we needed a professional service and finish we can’t recommend them enough

Joe and Nathan did an excellent job on lighting our garden, providing advice on the best solution and then implementing with professionalism. They were also very prompt in following though on a small technical issue with one of the lights. Thoroughly recommend.

Nathan (with Joe's oversight) planned and installed the wiring to our new workshop, complete with sockets, data terminals and outside lighting. He was prompt helpful and tidy. Very pleased with results and looking forward to the rest of the install when our garden is finished and the electric car charger needs completion. Would recommend without reservation.

We had some deck lights installed and that we are really happy with the results. Your team was excellent, really high standard of work and more than happy to answer all my questions. The standard of work was excellent and the fact that the team really wanted to make sure we were happy during and after the installation was great – exactly what customer service should be like.

Joe is the only electrician who has successfully sorted out an intermittent problem with our kitchen lights. He and his team are extremely professional, punctual and respectful of us and our property. We strongly recommend Joe for all electrical works - he does a great job for a reasonable price.

A small job - done with care. Thanks for a good job.

Great service and would use again. Very happy

Joe was great to deal. It was a smallish job which was fitting a storage heater and I thought I might struggle to find someone to do it but Joe squeezed it in for me and was very responsive. Great service and would definitely use again.

From the moment Joe stepped in the door a very professional service backed up by Woody and Jack

Very quick response to my enquiry. Arrived on time. Did a very professional job. Polite and friendly and explained what they were going to do. Cleared up and took packaging away. Would highly recommend and would call again. Thank you

Joe is brilliant he helped me sort out what was for him a simple problem but beyond my so called skill set. I would highly recommend him for all electrical works.

Job done on promised date, done efficiently, without mess and prescribed certificate provided. Totally satisfactory and will use this contractor again

Excellent service, came within an hour and sorted our problem . Extremely helpful and reasonably-priced. Can thoroughly recommend.

Very professional. Great service all round. I use them for every job.

This was the second time we have used Joe and once again he and the team have been great. In summary, on time, tidy, polite, great work and the price was as quoted.

100% recommend this local company. Quick to respond, turn up exactly when promised and quality work completed. Great to find a local contractor that you can rely on. Will definitely use again. Thank you Joe 😁

I contacted Joe to do some work for my elderly parents after seeing him recommended on a local Facebook page. It was for a reasonably small amount of work but he had no issue with coming out and quoting, listening to what was required and making some suggestions. The work was completed on the day agreed, the electrician was clean and tidy and respectful to my parents. I would definitely use him again and would highly recommend.
