Customers of Gio Electrical describe George as friendly, polite and good at communicating, with several saying he explains clearly what he is doing. Reviewers report punctual arrival and tidy work, including cleaning up after jobs and removing old fittings. The work described ranges from EICR testing and paperwork to sockets, lighting, extractor fans, heating and bathroom electrics. One reviewer noted the price was reasonable, while another said George made suggestions in their best interest rather than for personal gain. One reviewer reported a problem with some of the work, which is covered below.
George attended our rental property to conduct a PAT test for all our appliances. We are not local to the property and often find communicating remotely with tradespeople problematic(!), but George was very understanding and accommodating of the situation. We are very satisfied with the work carried out and would definitely recommend him to others.
High standard of work and so reliable!!
George has been amazing in helping me renovate and modernise the electrics in my property. In a newly converted garage he provided lighting, heating, electric sockets, internet access and outside lighting. He has installed new lighting, an electric oven, smoke detectors, new bathroom lighting, extractor fans, and bathroom electrics for mirrors and shaving sockets inside my house. George is friendly, punctual, reliable and finishes his work to a high standard, clearing up any mess as he goes. He also thinks about things I hadn’t considered and makes suggestions and recommendations with the intention what is in my best interest and not for his own personal gain. He is now my go to electrician and I hope to use him again in the future.
Great communication and service. George was polite, friendly and professional. Carried out an EIRC and sent that paperwork the same day. Thank you
Used George for an initial EICR when buying our house - he was considerate of any inconvenience to the seller and discussed the findings of the report clearly with us before we went ahead with our purchase - reassuring us that despite being an old house, the electrics were generally sound. Since we got the keys, George has completed works including chasing in and replacing sockets hung on skirting boards, fixing loose sockets, fitting a new extractor fan in our shower room and replacing lights across multiple rooms. I would recommend George to anyone in the Dorchester area who is looking for an electrician who completes work to a high quality, on time and communicates clearly with clients.
Professional service from George at Gio Electrical. Such a gent, very professional, punctual, polite and great at communication. What more could you want from a tradesman!? George fitted a new extractor fan and completed an EICR on our property.
Can highly recommend George. He gave us a quote, booked us in, advised us of time the day before, arrived promptly. Replaced our light fittings, fitted new extractor fan and towel radiator. Also investigated problem with our immersion heater. George was polite and pleasant, kept us informed with what he was doing, cleaned up after he'd finished and removed our old stuff. Would definitely use again.
Contact George to come and help me fit a couple of outside sockets into the garden, and then also install my Google Nest Thermostat. I was really impressed with the speed and professionalism George completed the work, clearly takes his work very seriously, and holds himself to high standards. Let me know if there was anything that didn’t work quite right I can call him back to take a look anytime but I doubt we will need to! Can highly recommend GIO Electrical and have already contacted him about doing the electricals for our bathroom.
George was prompt in the morning and put in a full days work without stopping. He added 10 down lights in the kitchen accessed from lifting the floor above. George was careful around the house and cleaned up fully before he left. He is very friendly, polite, and helpful when explaining what he is doing. This is the second project George has done for me and I look forward to inviting him back for more. He’s your man.
The go-to sparky! I found Gio Electrical online after searching for a reliable, efficent and cost effective electrician.. After speaking with George, who was very helpful over the phone, he managed to fit me in and install a hanging LED mirror in our bathroom. After having some difficulties with installing myself, George came and was able to find a solution to ensure a tidy and professional outcome! AMAZING SERVICE! We were so impressed, we got George back a few weeks later to install power in our garage... Excellent customer service again, with not only setting up electrics, allowing us to have our electric door fitted, but also inside power, and exterior lighting!! We can't thank you enough to Gio Electrical!! George made everything easy and ensured all our requirments were caterted for, as well as exceeding expectations. Moving forward, we trust George with anything electrical!!
George is excellent, he is knowledgeable and efficient and I would highly recommend him. Thank you Gio Electrical!
George is an excellent, reliable electrician. He knows his stuff! He's very friendly and I would recommend him to anyone
Gio Electrical is fantastic! I've used the service multiple times in my home, be it fitting new sockets, adding wires in the bathroom for heated mirror, creating brand new lights in a room, or fault finding legacy dodgy wiring from previous owner. Every time I have contacted George he is soo friendly and helpful! When he arrives at my home he arrives with a smile and can do attitude! Always conducts himself in a professional manner and the pricing is super reasonable! Also a very patient person, never seems irritated or annoyed while I bumble through trying to explain what I want, just listens and tried to help where he can, which is a breath of fresh air! Defo going to be keeping this sparky!! Only wish I could give more than 5 starts! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
