T Clarke Contracting Limited has drawn repeated criticism from reviewers about the driving of people in its branded vans. One reviewer reported a driver using a back road near the A38 as a racetrack, and another said a driver dangerously overtook in a 40 zone. A further reviewer said a driver went through a red light in Ruddington, while another described a driver cutting in front of a car and swerving into the middle of the road on the way out of Derby towards the M1. Other reviewers reported speeding and aggressive driving in Willington, and one simply said not to bother. One reviewer praised Callum at T Clarke and thanked Lewis and the team for the service provided to BAM's clients.
Don’t bother
I just saw the infamous driver (unless T Clarke has a whole fleet of bad drivers) using the Burnaston back road off the A38 as a racetrack. Absolutely disgusting behavior. 21/03/25 at 14:08 hrs. Clearly, this company doesn’t care about its public image, given the number of reviews mentioning what must be the same reckless driver. I’m seriously considering reporting it to the police and suggest they take a look at the Google reviews.
Could genuinely be the worst driver I’ve ever seen. Must have a competition to see how bad they can drive. The only 5* review is definitely a friend trying to cover up for the worst contractor in Derby. Genuine loser.
Absolutely would NOT recommend based on standard of driving! Some ginger bloke in a branded van needlessly and dangerously overtook in a 40 zone, only to end up in traffic at Kilburn lights. When I asked what the point was he just shrugged - just shows the low calibre of people working here.
One of your drivers was not paying any regard to the laws of the road driving though red light in ruddington
Not used the services but saw one of the employees driving very dangerously on the crriageway out of derby leading to the M1, They were cutting in front of a car, slamming on, and almost hit my car as they swerved into the midle of the road. I can see someone else left a similiar review, I think this guy needs sorting out
Disgusting behavior from an employee driving through Willington - speeding around a small village and very aggressive when driving down a narrow area of road, shouting and swearing at me when he shouldn't have gone anyway! All on dashcam if needed.
