J&H Electrical

Old fuse board was smoking and threatening to burn my house down! Mark attended promptly and did a swift repair, making it safe. He quoted a very reasonable price to upgrade to modern standards. He attended on the day arranged , carried out the work and inspected all wiring, providing paperwork required for council etc. Friendly and hard working, I highly recommend Mark and will use J&H Electrical again. Many thanks x

Second time we’ve used J&H, both sets of jobs completed satisfactorily, would use again and recommend

Mark was really helpful and quick. Great service in requiring and fitting light. Many thanks

We bought a new house and needed more plug sockets downstairs. Mark came around to look at the job and we booked a slot within a short timeframe. He explained the options to us regarding where we could site the sockets and how best to make good (really helpful for plasterboard walls). Mark was extremely polite, friendly and a very clean and tidy worker. He also put up with our two Labradors who were ‘checking’ his work! Massive thumbs up, really pleased and will definitely use again 😊

Turned up bang on time, did the job quickly and thoroughly. Cleaned up after himself, Good value for money. Would highly recommend. Will be using him again.

We had a recent electrical problem which we were grateful to Mark for solving. He attended exactly when he said he would, explained the issue clearly, and solved it in a planned, efficient and tidy way. He is very personable and we will certainly use him again.

Really happy with the work - excellent advice and price.

Mark was professional, genuine, and efficient. He completed a couple of jobs for us and we’re really pleased with the work. He arrived on time, worked quickly and to a high standard, and explained everything clearly. Being new to the area, it’s great to find someone reliable and trustworthy and I’d highly recommend his services and wouldn’t hesitate to contact him again for future work

Mark recently fitted a new ceiling extractor fan and light in our bathroom. He also removed the previous fan, a horrible job requiring him to work in our very inaccessible loft, which he did with good humour. The new fan is excellent and the whole job was completed to a very high standard. Mark is a first class, very experienced electrician and we have no hesitation in recommending his services to others. In addition it doesn’t hurt at all that he is a thoroughly nice guy. Thanks for everything Mark.

Mark carried out a full rewire of my house. I'm very pleased with his work and would recommend to anyone.

Mark was on time, and explained everything thoroughly. He made my EICR inspection much less of a worry. I would definitely recommend him again.

His work is of a very high standard, competent, punctual, clean, competitively priced and I would have no hesitation in recommending him for electrical works. He is a nice guy with a great sense of humour which complements his technical skills.

Efficient, professional, reliable and a pleasure to have work in my home. I've had an extension built and Mark was head and shoulders above all other contractors I've employed. The quality of his work is great and his charges are very reasonable. Best of all, he has integrity with a sense of humour. Top fella.

Mark has helped me with several property purchases and fitted all my chandeliers, taken down and put up additional light fittings, sockets and outdoor lighting installations. He is incredibly competent, professional, and reliable. I would highly recommend him for any project.

Mark was recommended to me by a friend, and I am very happy to pass on the recommendation. His work was first-rate and he was efficient and reliable, keeping to appointments, and keeping me fully informed about the work and the costs. He is a real find and I will certainly be asking him to do any further electrical work I might have.. M.McIntosh, Tunbridge Wells

Mark has done quite a lot of work at our house now, including installing Philips Hue lighting in a garage conversion, electrical work outside for hot tub / BBQ area and he recently installed our EV home charging unit. Mark is always punctual, polite and tidy. He is quick to respond to enquiries and we are very pleased with the quality of his work and the value for money he offers.

I highly recommend Mark. He is honest, reliable, very professional and extremely good at what he does. He took the stress out of a situation and his communication skills are great. Thank you Mark. I truly recommend using his company.

Mark carried out a variety of electrical jobs for us this week. He quoted the job at short notice and offered a competitive price for the work we had done. After booking the work in he sent a message the night before to confirm arrival time which was very helpful. Turned up on time and was extremely hard working. Carried out the work in the agreed timeframe and also managed to carry out some additional jobs we had overlooked. Cleaned up so well you could barely tell that the work had been done (cables chased in to wall). Very friendly and personable. Would always use for future work.

Mark installed my Nest Hello doorbell system as well as my Nest Thermostat. He was friendly, arrived on time and did the job efficiently. Offered a really competitive quote and left the place clean. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend his electrical services.
