OJF Electrical

Friendly, speedy and a job well done. Highly recommended.

Truly exceptional service from OJF. I submitted an online enquiry (via Facebook) to have an EV Charger fitted and was contacted by Ollie the following day. Unlike many installers, OJF came to survey the job and Ollie gave me a prompt survey appointment. From the moment I met Ollie I was impressed by his competence and courtesy. He was able to provide me with a quote at the end of the survey and I readily accepted. Within a week, the charger was supplied and fitted by the remarkably diligent and equally as competent Mason. From start to finish the whole process was refreshingly faultless. Without doubt I received an excellent service at an extremely competitive price. I would not hesitate to recommend OJF (indeed I already have!).

A brilliant experience from start to finish with our EV and Solar Panel/battery install. Olly and Mason were very clear in explaining all the technicalities and recommendations and arranging all the necessary certifications (G99/MCS). Erin was also very helpful with all the admin enquiries. A pleasure to do business with OJF and highly recommended. Mufi

Impressed by OJF Electrical and Renewables Ltd when they fitted an EV charger, I went back to them for solar panel and battery installation. I wasn’t disappointed. OJF communicated quickly and effectively throughout the project, first working through several proposals and, once commissioned, working diligently on the installation. This is a professional outfit, conscientious and courteous throughout and I do not hesitate to recommend them.

Compared to other companies that I contacted that relied on me to provide an online survey with photos of my existing consumer board, electrical installation and asking me numerous electrical questions which I didn't feel qualified to answer, OJF were the complete opposite! I phoned their office, spoke to Erin, she had Mason pop round the very next day to check my existing consumer board to ascertain exactly what I would need and explained the process and provided my with an exact quotation. Within 3 working days Mason was back and installed my Hypervolt charger. Erin was so courteous and helpful and Mason did a fantastic job, explained how to operate the system and left everything clean and tidy. If like me you appreciate fantastic service then I cant recommend the team at OJF enough. Exceptional. Thank you Mason

Excellent service, friendly knowledgeable team. Job well done.

OJF was introduced to me by a neighbour, who couldn't speak highly enough about the work that they were doing. Olly was able to advise, quote and install a new inverter within the space of just over a week. Highly recommended.

Excellent Service.. Prompt, Professional and friendly. This is the second time we have used OJF. Highly recommended.

Outstanding service from start to finish. OJF Electricals & Renewables truly stand out as a professional, honest, and highly reliable company. Mason, the electrician, did an excellent job installing my MyEnergi Eddi diverter wirelessly, his workmanship was clean, efficient, and clearly carried out to a very high standard. Everything was set up seamlessly. A special mention also to Ollie, who went above and beyond by helping me troubleshoot an issue just before the Easter weekend. That level of support, especially at such a busy time, really demonstrates their commitment to customer care. Their pricing was very competitive, and all the relevant certification was provided promptly, giving complete peace of mind that the work was carried out to full compliance. What really sets them apart is their honesty and professionalism, qualities that can be hard to find. Without a doubt, they are the best company I’ve come across in this field. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again for any future solar-related work and highly recommend them over others in the market.

We can’t praise OJF Electrical highly enough. They installed our solar diverter a couple of years ago. At the time we were impressed. We experienced an electrical problem yesterday and contacted the company. They returned my call immediately and came out that day as an emergency callout. They came when they said they would, and 2 men worked on the system for about an hour to fully test and diagnose the cause of the fault. The fault was located (in the solar diverter unit itself) and the OJF electricians made all the arrangements with the manufacturers to obtain and have fitted a replacement unit under guarantee by the manufactures (who have since contacted us). All this was explained very fully and clearly to us by the 2 very helpful OJF engineers. They worked cleanly and efficiently, changing into indoor footwear (without being asked) each time they entered and exited the house. Though 2 men worked on the problem for an hour, we were just charged the single emergency call out rate of £95+VAT which we thought very fair. In short, a first-rate service and I have absolute confidence in recommending this company.

Mason was really helpful turning up to do the EV charger survey in person when he said he would, provided a quote immediately and detailed all of the work he recommend. All other companies I tried were unavailable in less than 4 weeks or didn’t know until online surveys were filled out with pictures of all sorts of details and questions that in my opinion only an electrician could answer appropriately. I would highly recommend OJF for EV charger installation, fast response in person, clear about what is needed, clean and tidy, totally professional job done within a week.

Professional look and feel to the firm, great work thank you OJF!

Brilliant! From my initial enquiry through to the site visit, quotation and installation OJF were very professional and efficient. Mason was excellent during the installation. He explained everything clearly and demonstrated how the charger app worked. I would advise anyone looking to buy an EV charger to use OJF.

An excellent company to do business with. From first contact to the completion of the EV charger installation OJF were outstanding. Warm, responsive, quick to do the survey and then to install, all with great communication throughout. Mason carried out the works and exhibited thorough professionalism throughout. It is a pleasure to commission someone who takes pride and care in their work. Solar panels next, and there is only one company I am going entrust - OJF Electrical. Philip

Ollie and the team did a re-wire at the property, which was done very much to our satisfaction. There were a couple of things which weren’t quite right and they have been resolved very promptly. I would us OJF again and would recommend to others.

Mason installed an EV charger at our home. He arrived on time, was very professional and did a great job. Really pleased with the end result would highly recommend and would definitely use the company again for future works. Thankyou.

We had the team come install solar panels, battery and an inverter in our home in Chelmsford. They were efficient, did a great job and made everything look good. They were very approachable and the aftercare of the install was excellent. The package they put together was perfect for our needs. Even the scaffolding was put up and taken back down within the week. Can’t recommend these guys enough.

Really helped me out in an emergency would highly recommend.

Olly and Mason were excellent, they did great work and showed good attention to detail. They came on time, worked all through the day and tidied up after themselves. Highly recommend for any ev or battery work.

Local business, nice people to deal with (Ollie, Erin and Mason), on time, good communication and tidied up afterward. EV charger fitted neatly, looks great and they dealt with a couple of other electrical bits that needed sorting at the same time. Happy to recommend.

Great service with a great can do attitude Hit a few issues but solved quickly professionally and cost effectively Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend

Needed a lot of work for a new house purchase. Fantastic response time, quality of work and pricing. Very happy customers. Would highly recommend

From the first contact to the resolution of the problem all communication was clear and helpful. Olly initially talked me through some "self help" ideas. I was then contacted by his office and an appointment made. Each time I was told what would happen next and when I would be contacted again. Each time they did exactly that. Olly arrived on time (to the minute!) and as soon as he entered the house, put on shoe covers, without even asking. The fault with our solar system was located and fixed very quickly and with minimum disruption and the bill was less than I expected. Top class service. Considerate, thoughtful and dependable. Thoroughly recommend.

Great service. So professional. Both Olly and Mason were courteous, prompt and kept me informed of all costs and timings throughout the whole order and install process. Would highly recommend

So pleased I was recommended OJF ! Mason did a great job for us, completing some electrical jobs around the house. Olly was great too coming over to price the job before hand . Really nice guys, very helpful, tidy workers . Erin in the office was lovely and helpful when I needed to change my appointment for works . Mason , olly and Erin thanks so much. ⭐️

We had an electric charger fitted. Olly was very helpful, responsive to emails and guided us through everything we needed. Mason fitted the charger; he was friendly and efficient. Great job, very professional, and a pleasure to deal with.

Had a Hypervolt charger installed at our new home and couldn’t be happier with the result. Everything was explained clearly, including all available options, and the installation was carried out to a high standard. The final setup is very neat and professional, with no visible cables, exactly what we were hoping for! Great service from start to finish!

Excellent work. Mason was professional, efficient and friendly. He gave us some good advice and of course everything worked.

Great company Done all the electrical work on a disabled toilet and bathroom with John Ford group about seven months ago now I recommend this company great lads great company thank you

Really clean and tidy workman. Job well done to a great standard. Really professional, and treat your home with respect. Best electrician and indeed best workman I've experienced in all the homes I've lived in. Highly recommend.

Contacted OJF Electrical to get a quote for an EV charger after being let down. We were provided with a reasonable quote that day and the charger was fitted the next day! The service we given was second to none from start to finish and we would recommend without hesitation.

The work carried out by OJF was excellent and expertly carried out. The work was clean and tidy.

The team was professional, efficient, and installed our solar PV system to a high standard. Our new solar panels and battery storage are already reducing our energy bills!. If you're looking for a reliable solar installer in Essex, OJF Renewables is the best choice!

Olly, Mason, and the entire OJF team were exceptionally efficient and professional with all the tasks I requested. I had a variety of things that needed attention around the house, some of which were quite specific—like working with smart home devices and power monitoring. They approached everything with enthusiasm and managed to fulfill my requests, even when they didn’t completely understand what I was asking for at first! They replaced lights, installed and ran Ethernet cables and ports, wired and set up cameras, and even installed solar panels and a home battery. Everything was done quickly, cleanly, and to a high standard. They even went out of their way to accommodate additional requirements that weren’t obvious to me when the project began. Despite these being added later, they managed to incorporate them within a reasonable timeframe, staying true (or very close to) to the original schedule. If you’re considering renewable energy, they’re an excellent choice. Unlike other solar companies I spoke to, which seemed more focused on selling me a system rather than understanding my needs, Olly dedicated about a month to back-and-forth discussions, diving into technical details and patiently explaining concepts I found important. This approach made all the difference. The solar installation was completed within a short timeframe, tailored perfectly to my requirements, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. I’ll definitely be using OJF for future electrical projects, and I highly recommend getting a quote from them if you’re planning any work!

OJF Electrical did a fantastic job installing our solar panels and battery storage at our property in Chelmsford. Olly and his team were professional, efficient, and explained everything clearly. The system is working perfectly, reducing our bills and maximizing savings. Highly recommend them for solar installations in Essex! Thank you for the great service.

Brilliant service Excellent company Would recommend 100% for reliability and honesty Mason was a star First class

This is the second piece of work that I've had undertaken by OJF and I have been equally impressed with the results from this unusual and fiddly job which needed to be coordinated with other service providers. Mason did a great job of the installation itself - extremely neat and tidy, and indeed complimented by the other contractors that worked on the installation afterwards.

As a happy returning customer, I had no hesitation to call OJF for more electrical work at my home. They turned up on time, help full friendly guys, who did a great job just as I asked. 👍

OJF Electrical recently installed an EV charger at my home and their service was excellent. Enquiry was dealt with promptly and all options were explained during the initial visit including advice/options on cable runs, chargers, etc. Mason was excellent and install was neat and tidy. Couldn’t have asked for anymore. Would highly recommend.

These guys are fantastic at what they do! Very professional and punctual—they showed up on time and completed the job exactly as promised. The task was challenging, and we had over five different electricians come by to assess it. By far, OJF was the quickest to respond and the most efficient in every aspect. I'm really happy with the outcome and their professionalism. Definitely keeping their number for future projects! 👍🏾👏🏾

Brilliant job done. Will definitely use in future.

OJF were very prompt to reply to my initial query about installing a new EV charger. Mason came round to quote within a couple of days, followed by a very neat install a few weeks later. OJF are very polite, efficient and reliable and I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone needing an EV charger.

I would recommend this company. The gentleman did a fantastic job.very professional .I would recommend to friends and family.

I heard of OJF through recommendation from a neighbour. Making contact with OJF was easy and arranging an initial visit and booking the actual workday was equally so. They arrived on time and worked efficiently throughout the day. If there was ever a doubt about what was required they were always willing to check with us. They tidied up as they went and again when the job was done! They provided us with what we wanted and we are delighted with their work and would recommend OJF to anyone looking to get some electrical work done!

Great service - efficient and get the job done with no fuss - and they also know what they are talking about!

The charger looks fantastic, and the overall finish is very neat. Both Olly and Mason were professional, friendly, and efficient throughout. I highly recommend OJF Electrical to anyone considering an EV charger installation. Great work all around!

Very efficient company. Mason, the electrician who completed our works, came initially on a call out and after a couple of hours investigation suggested the job would be better completed on a price. This arrived within a few days and Mason returned to complete. He was neat, courteous and worked an extended day to finish. Would thoroughly recommend this company.

OJF Electrical installed our new Hypervolt Home 3 Pro EV charger, in just a few hours. Tricky job, running the cable from the meter under the stairs and 1930s floorboards under 2010 extension to the outside wall. Nice and neat installation on the rendered wall. Mason and Olly are just the most professional team. Thanks guys!

He answered all of my questions promptly and was so helpful and knowledgable. Mason came out and fitted it for us. He came on time, explained everything to us and how it worked and when he left, everything was exactly how he had found it. Really great guys and a trustworthy, reliable and knowledgeable company.

Really top and professional job from these chaps, as expected from the other reviews. I bought an Ohme pro EV charger and needed someone local to install. I discussed requirements at survey, received a very sensible, and well itemised quote the same day, and they managed to fit us in several days later. Work was carried out quickly and efficiently, despite the job becoming more challenging than we expected. I would fully recommend this company to others. Thanks very much guys!

Hi Olly I wanted to take a moment to give some positive feedback following the EV charger install work completed this week. Impressed with the overall process from start to finish.
