I M Hartley Electrical & Security is described by several reviewers as doing work such as fitting an EV charger and outdoor socket, fixing dead kitchen sockets, diagnosing and repairing an old CCTV system, testing the house electrics, and installing a bathroom extractor fan, sockets, lights and fittings. One reviewer said the CCTV job was thorough and the problem was fixed the same day, with remote phone access set up. Two reviewers described the work or the traders as professional, and one called a tradesman reliable. One reviewer said they were lovely honest reliable tradesmen and that the agreed price was honoured despite the job taking longer than expected. One reviewer strongly criticised the work: cables were run in plastic trunking and Sky box connections were taped up, and they said they would not have the business back.
Matt installed a Hypervolt Home 3 Pro EV charger and an outdoor double socket at my home. Really happy with the work, very professional and reliable. Would definitely recommend I.M.Hartley Electrical.
I have rarely left a call where I felt genuine concern for my situation. All the sockets in my kitchen were not working including the connection to the fridge freezer. I M Hartley went above and beyond to make sure I did not spend another evening watching my food go to waste. They came after a hard days work and sped around making sure everything was up and running before they left. I would recommend this firm and intend to use it for all our electrical issues. Thankyou so much for your brilliant service.
Matt came to troubleshoot a problem with our fairly old CCTV system. He did a very thorough job, diagnosed the problem and fixed it the same day. He also updated the firmware and linked the system to our router so we can view the images from the cameras remotely on our phones. The price for the work was very reasonable and we have no hesitation in recommending him.
Messaged them on a Bank hol evening and they came out on time 2 days later to do the job as they promised. I think it took a little longer than expected but they still honoured the price and they are lovely honest reliable tradesmen. Without a doubt my go to now! Thanks lads!!
Came out and conducted safty test on house electrical system, found issues but was able to remedy quickly great lad professional and knows his business old shool work man
Had this cowboy run some cables for me and extend my sky box antenna wires. Stuck the wires to the wall in some plastic trunking, which I could have done myself, then taped up the back of the sky box connections with electrical tape. Avoid at all costs, would not have him back. Frankly I am surprised he got through the job without electrocuting himself....
Recently had work to install a bathroom extractor fan, new sockets and replacement fittings, and both Matthews were very professional and and efficient. They made sure everything was done correctly, triple-checked everything before leaving and tidied everything up after the work was done. Would highly recommend!
Excellent work a year ago, fitting some additional lights and switch
