Topsparks rewired everywhere and replumbed the kitchen, all for a very reasonable price. They were brilliant - they knew what to do and got on with it! They were knowledgeable, friendly and gave excellent advice, I very highly recommend them.

We are a local business and required assistance with our EV chargers on site. Topsparks were extremely helpful and got an engineer out to us really quickly. The engineer himself was very knowledgeable, polite and efficient. Chargers were up and running again in no time.

Used Topsparks multiple times. Telephone always answered quickly. Plumber always sent next day if urgent. Plumber always shows up on time and stays to complete the job whether it is 2 hours or 8 hours. Mike and his apprentice are outstanding and did a thorough job and worked really hard. The whole team at Topsparks is ‘user-friendly’. They are very considerate towards my 94-year old father and his needs and provided full technical explanations. Good value and reasonable pricing. We have been clients of Topsparks since shortly after the company started and in that time have been completely happy with their reliable, efficient and friendly service. They turn up when they say they will and do an excellent job. We use both the electrical and plumbing services for home and business. All at Topsparks are unfailingly helpful, polite and genuinely pleasant people to deal with. We have had to call them out at inconvenient times and in emergencies and they have never failed to help us out and even did a renovation job for us in South Devon. Nothing is too much trouble for them. It is really great to see a young, go ahead company providing such a wonderful customer service, which is a rare thing these days.

Many may be aware of the major fire in the historical buildings at St Michaels Trading Estate on the evening of the 7th July 2018. Our premises were on the ground floor and were immediately adjacent to premises that were completely destroyed in the fire. The tenants who were affected lost everything…stock, machinery and all work in progress. Nearly 10 years ago we were offered premises to lease on this estate. I evaluated the premises and decided that they offered opportunities that were not available elsewhere in Bridport. BUT……………….. I had concerns about the state of the electrics. I could have entered into potentially long and involved negotiations with a landlord who we didn’t really know and had not had time to build a relationship with, or we could factor the cost of a complete rebuild of the electrics into the cost/benefit calculations of our long term lease costs. This was one of the best decisions of my life. This weekend, our unit was adjacent to the fire which destroyed a major part of the building. The electrics of the building were not the cause of the fire, BUT could have killed us. Our premises were not fire damaged directly, but were completely deluged by water the firemen pumped for the nearby river. When we were allowed to accompany the firemen into the building the next morning we were so engrossed in understanding the damage to our business that WE DIDN’T REGISTER THAT THE POWER WAS STILL LIVE even though we were walking through puddles up to several inches deep. The quality of Top Sparks work was such that two things saved us: 1. The wiring met every standard that could possibly be applied, as well as every ‘common sense’ option, and was not affected by water from the fire hoses at all. 2. The power board was correctly installed and correctly inspected regularly. Any fault would have tripped switches which would have killed the electricity. This was a time of extreme stress and trauma for us. We were so far beyond noticing a normal day to day thing such as that the power was still on, that it could have been totally catastrophic. The best money we have ever spent was getting the electrics above and beyond all required standards. Top Sparks were not expensive. They did a great job, and when they came back to do additional small jobs for us, they routinely tested all their previous work at no cost. Thanks Karen Gamble, Director, Kites for Schools Limited.

I recently moved house and needed lots of electrical and plumbing work done (new and moved power points, new ceiling lights, re-routing and replacing ugly, old pipework, new water tanks etc etc). TopSparks were fabulous! Their price was competitive and they were so cheerful and flexible - I kept changing my mind but they were always willing to listen, point out potential pitfalls, make recommendations and try their best to meet my needs. Topsparks have been fantastic. Prompt! polite! reliable! efficient! Quick to answer any enquiry, reassure and explain whatever the situation and find the cheapest safest solution. A small thing maybe however they are respectful, removing their shoes at the door, tidying up after themselves and being sure that everything is safe before they leave not just the job they came out to attend they go the extra mile for service and check things are up to date. From a plumbing leak, I was so glad to see them. Pact testing for a holiday let, to outside lights and security cameras, they have come out and attended many bity jobs all in one go that just hadn't got sorted, what a relief to have it all sorted.
