Chris Stubbs and Son Electrical Ltd

Excellent call out service on a Sunday afternoon . Recommended. Will certainly be my electrician of choice in West Dorset.

Great, reliable and knowledgeable service. Supported us on a Sunday with an emergency issue with our static caravan and fixed it right away. Very grateful. 100% recommended

Very pleased with the service provided by this firm, delivered by Ricky and Ben. We had replacment under-cabinet lights fitted in the kitchen and are very pleased with the outcome. Would definitely use again, and recommend Chris Stubbs and Son.

Haven't needed their services for some time but 1st class service as before installing a light fitting for me. Neat and tidy workman who was quick and efficient. Would not hesitate to use them in the future.

I needed a double plug socket installing as soon as possible which was carried out the next day. It was such excellent service I'd happily recommend

Such s professional and friendly service. It's been a pleasure dealing with this company and its staff. Highly recommend.

The service from the team was excellent from start to finish and couldn't fault it all, would heartily recommend. Thank you.

We only needed a small electrical fix but rang Chris Stubbs on the Monday and we had one of their engineers in on that same Wednesday, fixed! Ben and his apprentice were on time and very efficient and friendly...Top service and reasonably priced

Local family firm providing brilliant service at reasonable prices. Employees all polite and knowledgeable, plus considerate of neighbours when parking. Have used other electricians in past, but since we found this company several years ago, we have stuck with them and recommended them to everyone. Cheers Ricky, family and team.

Quick Quote. On time arrival. Really nice guy. Very Satisfied. Thank-you Stubbs!

Absolutely fantastic work by the team. Very tidy, excellent knowledge and workmanship! Couldn’t be happier

• The work was carried out in a professional and competent way , with fair pricing and good communications leaving the house clean and tidy: very satisfied with the work carried out

Prompt and efficient service. A very polite and well presented young man carried out the work. A credit to your company. Thank you for a good job well done.

Amazing service from Stubbs. I requested a quote to replace some faulty fittings and a full electrical survey of my new house, which was organised quickly. They were always prompt, friendly and really thorough - explaining to me the pros and cons of having various bits of work done to pass the survey and were really accommodating of our request to do jobs in phases when we could afford to. We had a new fuse board, class II earthless wall lights fitted and fire safe spotlights in the kitchen that all look great. All three guys and Mel in the office were lovely - it’s so nice to find a decent family firm providing such quality stress free service! Will be using again!

I’ve been using Chris & Ricky plus now their extended staff since 2006 and they have never failed, from installing my alarm system, servicing it to installing an EV charger and quoting for Wi Fi cameras, they never fail, my go to company.

I purchased a property that required some electrical works, Having used Chris and Ricky in professional capacity they where the first people i called - Chris turn up to quote for the works (new consumer unit, and additional socket in the porch) and as he was walking around he noticed the kitchen light wasn't working very well, He replaced the switch and had his supplier drop of a new bulb whist he was writing up my quote! Which they never charged me for! Outstanding service, His team also noted my oil tank needed bonding - They ran a whole new earth for my home. Honestly the best contractor i've ever had the pleasure of working with,

An unusual electrical check and test for a trailer mounted office with 230v and 12v circuits. Quickly quoted, professionally carried out and all very courteous. Would have no hesitation to use again.

Great company. I found them very helpful at such short notice. They were able to fit the job in on the same day. Polite and professional and fairly price. Will definitely recommend and use again in the future.

Our area had a scheduled power cut for approx 6 hours, when the power came back on it was only the lights that worked, none of the power sockets. Called Chris stubbs & son and Lee talked us through testing the mains board first, nothing worked still so he sent one of their engineers round within 30 mins!! He managed to get half the circuits working for us so we had some power that night. The following early morning he came back and found the fault to be with one power socket in our lounge, it was rectified and all the power sockets are now good as new. We are super impressed with this company and have used them before, highly recommended!! Well done Oli your a star!!

These guys are efficient, attentive and do a tidy job. I love the level of lighting they put into both my garden and the studio room. The garden and other new lights mean the area is well lit without being obtrusive. Which is a hard trick to pull off. Thanks Ricky & team

Excellent service , excellent price , very professional

We had Ricky and his team come out to re wire our ring main after detecting a fault. Absolutely thrilled with everything they did. Great communication from start to finish. Clean, tidy and made a disruptive job for us much easier than expected. Would definitely recommend them and will be using them for future work.

Wonderful service, great people, wouldn't have any other company. Always willing to help and very cost effective 👍 super friendly Thank you Ricky 😊

During a recent storm, I had a full power outage. Ricky responded quickly and came out to fix the problem. He was professional and nothing was too much trouble despite it being late on a Saturday night. I cannot recommend him and the company enough.

Stubbs Electrical and Security have now done extensive works for us across multiple domestic jobs: CCTV, electrical gates, garden lights, security lights, meshed wifi, rewiring and maintenance/ call-out emergencies. They are very professional and polite, providing excellent quotes and always competing the work on schedule. Really impressed and happily recommend.

Immediate call back . Very helpful

Had an electrical problem on a Sunday morning. Stubbs came highly recommended by a friend. Left a message and received call within minutes (none of the other companies returned my calls) Problem dealt with efficiently and professionally. I shall be using Stubbs for all of my electrical needs in the future.

Would highly recommend Chris Stubbs & sons Electrical, I had to divide a bedroom into two, so needed extra sockets and lighting and tv points. Very professional and all done to a high standard

A quick , tidy job at a good price with a friendly face

A+ Great quality work & an all-round great experience. If you need some electrical work done - this is the first place you should call.

What an amazing local firm!

Fantastic team! Super helpful and hardworking. 100% recommend☺️

Help me with a fuse box problem 8 at night even tho he did not know me very helpful and kind

An absolutely outstanding service from Chris and his two electricians. They worked on our house when we were away completing the tasks in the time that was arranged. How they managed to run wires/cables on coving and behind skirting boards was a marvel. They put all the furniture back in its place and left us with no mess to tidy up. We were expecting to have to plaster and decorate however this was not necessary. The two electricians who carried out the job even looked after our cat in our absence. Very highly recommended. Mike.

Had a small job rang to see when they could fit it in done and dusted 11/2 hours after call. Always use Chris, Ricky and co regarding electrical work. 5 star service with very friendly team. Peter & Ruth Bainton.

Professional, pleasant, clean & careful. Great service.

Had Chris in to rewire our house. Brilliant workers, very polite guys. Very happy with the work they have done for us. Have recommended them to family and friends who have needed an electrician.

Arranged for them to look at some electrical work, unfortunately they did not turn up!

Whilst I was away on holiday I rang Ricky Stubbs (owner/ partner) he not only arranged the work to be done, he was there unbelievably quick and turned up when he said and completed the work to an excellent standard. The client even told me of her gratitude and was very glad to have the issues sorted so promptly. I will be using Chris Stubbs and son again for sure. Very reliable and friendly.
