PowerGen Electrical Ltd

Found Dean and PowerGen after posting a job on Checkatrade. Great communication, quick and easy quote and excellent service. Fit a socket behind wall mounted TV and fit ceiling fan. Made sure everything was clean, tidy and back where it was. Definitely recommend and will use again.

Excellent service from Dean and his team. Easy to communicate with in the run up to the job, and very professional on the day - did a top quality tidy job of extending power and internet from my house to the area outside where my outdoor office is going. Highly recommended

We recently used Dean for a complete house renovation project, with new wiring installations in kitchen and bathroom, and amendments/electrical tests of existing installations. Dean was brilliant throughout, offering his help and advice where required. His communication was excellent, always quick to respond and willing to help where he could. His work always looked neat and tidy, and would clean up once complete. Would highly recommend.

Dean was professional, prompt and quoted a good price. The work was done quickly and efficiently and the results are brilliant. Highly recommended.

We found Dean on Checkatrade after a major electrical fault left us no heating and no electricity downstairs. Dean was very quick to respond to our urgent request, provided a competitive quote and came over a few hours later. Not only did he fix the problem quickly he then explained the cause and advised on how to ensure it won’t happen again. He also popped back a few days later to finish off and check all fine.. Highly recommend!!!

PowerGen Electrical We installed a kitchen ourselves but needed an electrician for new plugs points, install points for a cooker, hob and hood. We also added an outside electric point. We found Dean on Checkatrade.com. He responded quickly, came round a couple of days later, gave us some ideas, and a very competitive quote. He came on time and on the day agreed. All first fit work done in first day. This was great as we had a plasterer lined up. Dean took video of the work he had done. He returned for second fit when we were ready and it looks great. We highly recommend Dean (PowerGen Electrical).

Dean is extremely professional, skilled, reliable and trustworthy. I can't recommend him highly enough

We are so happy with the work that has been done by Dean. His work is outstanding and he never leaves any mess, he's a first class electrician and gentleman.

Really helpful advice from Dean, who fitted an EV charger and outside lighting. Carried the work out quickly and was also very tidy. Then took time to explain how it all worked. Wouldn’t hesitate to use his company again.

Whilst adding a new extractor fan to my mums house we discovered it needed a complete rewire. As her house was over 100 years old and made from hard red brick it proved to be a difficult task. Dean did an amazing job and stuck to his original quote even though it was longer and harder than expected. He did the full rewire, installed new lights, outside light and fire alarms as well as the extractor. He left the house clean and tidy with everything back in place. I would not hesitate to use Dean again and recommend him to anyone.

We are really happy with Dean at Powergen he couldnt do enough for us, fitted us a new hob, oven and consumer unit. We will recommend him to our friends and definately use him again

I have used PowerGenElectric twice now. Dean is such a professional and the advice he gives is brilliant. The works was done clean and timely manner. Dean gave regular updates as the work progressed. I would recommend him to anybody who needed an electrician.

We moved into our apartment about a year ago and have used Dean at PowerGen to do all our electrical work. He’s replaced all the old electric radiators with an efficient new system and all our ceiling lights with modern dimmable LED spotlights. We’ve always been delighted with the standard of work, value for money, flexibility with changes, and more generally, his reliability, friendliness and total professionalism. We thoroughly recommend Dean for all your electrical work.

He put ev charger in for me, unlike other companies he comes and looks what the job is and gives an exact quote with no extras. Very good quality work at a good price.

I cannot fault PowerGen Electrical Ltd. Dean is a great bloke who knows what he’s talking about; he gets the job done and makes sure it’s done well; and that the customer is happy. He is thoroughly decent and respectful of his customers and their property, leaving everything clean, tidy, and safe. I have hired PowerGen on more than one occasion, and would happily hire them again. As a single woman, I have felt completely reassured and at ease with Dean working in my home. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend PowerGen Electrical Ltd.

I was very impressed with the service provided by Dean from Powergen for my downstairs reconfiguration and new kitchen. He promptly contacted me, arranged a weekend inspection, listened carefully to our requirements, and provided a timely quote and schedule. The work was completed efficiently and professionally, and Dean went the extra mile to minimise disruption to existing finishes, saving me money. He also provided all the necessary building regulation paperwork, a crucial but often overlooked aspect of home selling. I would definitely recommend Powergen."

Excellent work. Installed 2 new electrical sockets, clean and tidy. Reasonably priced. Will definitely use again

Several jobs completed to a high standard. Thorough, takes pride and communicates well. Will definitely use in the future.

First class from start to finish - very tidy worker and informative along the journey from initial assessment to fully functioning solar panels (14 in total with back up battery) - absolutely highly recommend 😊

Fitted 11 solar panels,5KWh inverter and battery . Did a professional job, explained everything and tidied up after him self .

Dean installed a three phase distribution board and Zappi 22kw EV charger at our home. He was really enthusiastic and took time to ask detailed questions about our requirements. The work was completed meticulously and on time. The house was left clean and tidy despite a fair bit of drilling etc. He explained all aspects of the installation and provided full certification afterwards. Thanks very much.

Dean did a fantastic job fitting a Ring siren and floodlight camera to our garage. Job was done quickly and efficiently, with no mess to a very high standard. I was impressed with Dean’s attention to detail. Will be using PowerGen Electrical in future.

Dean is an outstanding electrician who has a great passion for his workmanship. He goes above and beyond for his clients. We cannot thank him enough for restoring our electricity, as we were left without by our emergency cover who were absolutely rubbish Homeserve couldn't even find the fault let alone fix it! So happy to have found an AMAZING electrician in Dean. Highly recommend.

Dean recently installed an EV charger at my home & was excellent from start to finish, carried out the survey & returned to install the charger within a couple of weeks in time for my new car being delivered. Neat, tidy work & removed all rubbish etc, even returned this week to install an addtional meter free of charge which i require for compay car purposes. Would highly recommend & will definitely be using him in the future for further electrical work on our house.

Absolutely fantastic work done by Dean. He was very fast and efficient, made some great suggestions and completed work to the highest standards. Also very reasonable pricing. Would highly recommend and use again. He did all our electrical work for a dormer conversion and outdoor garden electrical work.

Thanks Dean for replacing my old fusebox with a consumer unit. Great job, tested the house wiring for faults and seperated some circuits. Nice clean job and certainly would recommend.

I had an EV charger (Zappi 2.1) installed by Dean and the service he provided was excellent. He completed a home survey for free, which most EV installers do not carry out these days (they expect you to do the checks yourself), before outlining the plan for the work (non-standard installation) and providing quotes for a number of EV chargers. Dean was meticulous and structured in his work. He was tidying up after every part of the work he completed. The job took over 9 hours to finish and every detail of his work was done to a high standard. The EV charger had experienced issues at the start, but Dean took the time to troubleshoot everything before he left. I'm very pleased with the service and I would use PowerGen Electrical Ltd again and recommend to others.

Dean did a full rewire of my house, he took the time to talk everything though with me and was always quick to respond to my questions. I'm very pleased with the work done and would definitely recommend him.
