Customers describe Sparks Electrical Installations Limited as a father-and-son team, with Mark and Sam named in several reviews. Reviewers report punctual, polite and tidy work on solar panels, batteries, inverters, air conditioning and EV chargers. The installation was completed in a day in one report, and another says it was finished ahead of schedule. Several reviewers say the system and app were explained to them. One reviewer reports that pigeon brushes fitted under solar panels left large gaps and that later calls about pigeons getting back under the panels were ignored. Another reviewer says an arranged visit did not happen, with no call and no response to messages.
Mark and Sam have done a wonderful job of fitting solar panels on two of our properties . They were courteous , arrived promptly and we're extremely tidy in their work . I would recommend them to anyone . Thanks both for a job well done .
I cannot recommend highly enough- sparks electrical came out to fit an air con unit that I had bought off recommendation from a different company. When they came out it was quickly established that this particular unit was not suitable for the room. By some sort of miracle they had a unit that they could go and collect, bring back and install immediately. The relief was huge and I am so grateful to them. I run a childminding business and the air con has been essential for the safety and comfort of my children in my care. Not only this, but they were polite, attentive, helpful and so accommodating. They took care of my setting and respected the resources by ensuring everything was appropriately covered, and their communication throughout the process was so thorough and appreciated. A really lovely father & Son team, and a local business I would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone in the future. Thank you to you both- from myself and the Little Hoppers!
Fantastic family run company with attitude to match their skills. Installation was flawless, Mark and Sam were punctual and polite.
Contacted Mark after seeing a recommendation on Facebook. He quoted a fair price for what I needed came to do so the job when he said I am now waiting for the pigeons to leave However when the pigeons were getting under my panels again and I contacted them to come and sort it, I was completely ignored. Wasn’t 6 months before they were back under. On inspection found large gaps between the brushes that were fitted. Definitely not impressed with having to pay again to get this fixed by someone else
New Solar Installation Sparks Electrical Mark and Sam are extremely knowledgeable about Solar they answered all of our questions provided open honest information regarding how many panels to have, battery storage the inverter along with the installation process and explained how the exporting/importing of electricity worked. Having completed a great deal of research we decided to accept Sparks Electrical quote which to be honest was very good in comparison to other companies, a date was set for the installation. In a day 16 panels, battery and inverter installed these guys work hard and in a methodical way they certainly are a team, they cleaned up as they went along all rubbish taken away. Once installed sat down over a coffee was taking through the paperwork and app was really reassured in the fact that if I had any issues they were only a call away. Communication was excellent at every stage; the whole process was managed in a very professional manner. Highly recommend this company and I would have no hesitation in contacting them if I have any electrical issues not just Solar.
Mark and Sam ‘The Sparks Team’ installed our Solar Panels back in June last year. A year on and the combination of panels and batteries mean we are now covering our own electrical energy costs and benefitting for selling back to the grid. The installation was impressive being completed ahead of schedule and all as expected. It was Mark and Sam and their hard work and attention to detail that made this a truly stand out experience. Monitoring continues remotely post installation to ensure the ongoing performance is maintained, big big thanks to both of you.
We recently had solar panels, a battery storage system, and a Zappi EV charger installed by Sparks Electrical Installations Ltd. and we’re really pleased with the results. From the initial consultation to the final installation, Mark and Sam were professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. The installation was completed on time and with minimal disruption, and everything was left clean and tidy. They took the time to walk us through the system, including the app setup and how to get the most from the solar and battery combo. The Zappi charger is working perfectly with our solar generation and has already helped reduce our grid usage. Communication was clear throughout, and any questions we had were answered promptly. Overall, we’d definitely recommend Sparks Electrical Installations to anyone looking for a reliable and well-priced solar solution.
Great service and a great price for the work carried out Thank you will use you again
From start to finish, Mark and Sam were professional, efficient, and made the whole process very easy. I’m very happy with the installation. The panes look great and perform better than expected. Highly recommended, much better value than the national companies, no heavy sales pitch to contend with!
Mark and his son Sam came and fitted a solar system on my bungalow in Metheringham, not only was it nice to use a local company but he provided a professional and competitive price, he arrived on the required date and completed the job in a day, fitting twelve panels and inverter, up and running, he spent the time explaining all of the operating information but also that I was welcome to phone him with any query. I would definitely recommend sparks electrical to anybody in the future.
Air conditioning installed by Sparks Electrical. Arranged for a quote which was timely delivered, the price was fair lower than other companies. Father and son turned up on time completed the work which was very satisfactory, the guys cleaned up. Honest company I would have no hesitation in having the guys back I certainly recommend them.
Very Poor. Made an appointment for Mark to visit. He didn’t show up at the arranged time and didn’t bother calling. Obviously didn’t fancy the job. I wish that he had been honest upfront so I didn’t arrange to be at home. My recommendation would be look elsewhere - there are plenty of reliable Electricians in the Lincoln area. I would give zero stars if I could. Edit: Follow on response. I’ve been sat here with my phone all morning and I’ve left messages asking for an update. Nobody called. 👍
Very quick and efficient, good price. Second time used the company and will definitely use them again in the future.
Fantastic communication and happy to accommodate the charger install at short notice. Fantastic service.
Having requested an electrical installation in my garden, Mark was quick to respond and his quotation was very good value. Unlike other companies, Mark was able to offer a timely appointment and completed the work to a very high standard. Unquestionably I will be hoping to use Mark (Sparks) again should I require further electrical work at my home.
Very friendly chap, saved the day by helping me out with some connectors for my solar system at a moment's notice. Excellent.
Used Sparks Electrical twice now. Really impressed with the professionalism, price and quick friendly response. Will definitely use again, thank you!
Excellent work done by a very polite and clean worker will use again
I found this a very efficeint firm to deal with. The work was carried out quickly and without any problems. Their communications were clear and their prices reasonable. I would certainly recommend their services to anyone wishing to have work done at a distance in tenanted property.
