First class EV installation. Glenfield came out to look and inspect (others dis by photo!) , researched best choice for our 3 phase set up. Were able to install within 2 weeks (others were “too busy” and months!). Product is great and install was very straight forward. Price was sensible as well.

Very professional survey. Good explanation of how solar and battery works. There is a lot of misinformation out there. Take buying a gateway, the nationals in the ads offer it as an extra. Without it in a power cut your solar will be stopped. Had some small snagging issues, fixed within a week. It's now in filling my household needs 99% of the time. That is all I wanted with an off peak tariff for the EV, never pay full price electricity again. Had an immersion timer fitted should save on gas in the summer. Looked at the EDDI, but that is more to divert solar to your immersion. If you have battery an immersion timer made more sense to me and far cheaper. Overall very happy with the install. Easy to contact Glenfield, keep you up to date and fix any issues. Highly reccomended

I am really pleased with Glendfield Electrical. I contacted them regarding a solar installation for my parents' house. Their solar designer, Amy, arranged a site visit to meet us in person. After spending a couple of hours designing a suitable system, we decided to proceed, and an installation date was scheduled. We were kept informed throughout the process and were assigned a project manager, Shaun, who communicated frequently and effectively. On the installation day, the team arrived promptly. The roofing team installed the solar panels while the electricians set up the battery, inverter, and all the wiring. Everyone was friendly, and the entire installation was completed within the day, with the system up and running. A few days after the installation, we received our handover pack, which included certificates to pass on to our energy provider. Overall, I am very happy with the installation and service provided by Glendfield Electrical, who also offered competitive pricing. If anyone is interested in solar installation, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Thanks again to Amy, Shaun, and the rest of the team.

Choosing who to buy a Solar System from is no easy task, believe me. You are constantly being fed advertisements each claiming to be the best with all kinds of offers. I am old enough to remember Double Glazing techniques! I chose Glenfield Electrical why? Because the Sales person was extremely knowledgeable about the system and made recommendations that made sense backed by easy to understand data. She had experience of designing and installing the systems and spoke in a no pressure environment. Happily leaving without an order for us to mull over the proposal. The following day we concluded the sale over the Telephone just as she had recommended and the specification and order confirmation came swiftly followed including a guarantee for the down payment. So far a World Class experience. Now time for the hardest thing (in my case) waiting for installation to make sure I had made the right decision Frankly the time between order and installation I feel Glenfield could have done better. It is only a small critique but communication could be improved. There are some necessary approval rules that have to be ratified between our home and the main Electrical supplier, applied on our behalf by Glenfield actually everything rule wise was completely done by Glenfield. Installation day came and the Team Leader arrived spot on time and work commenced. One thing that really impressed me was that whenever possible whilst drilling a hole they had a vacuum cleaner talking away the debris! The following day the team arrived again spot on time same work ethic, highly Delightful Experience. Every aspect of the job routing the Cables, installation of the Battery and Inverter etc. and Electric Car Charger was done with Surgical Standard, again World Class. In summery Glenfield Electrical is a Supplier I would highly recommend, a World Class experience that has been superb.

From 1st call to completion of the battery installation was smooth and pain free! Instillation team and admin team were all helpful and they knew what they were doing Battery were installed on 12th January 26 every thing working fine. My only suggestion is during hand ever need to set up the settings and explain in bit better way- every one is not extremely IT literate

We have recently had solar installed on our property. We had three quotes, two from big names in the industry and one from Glenfield Electrical. Having considered all three we decided upon Glenfield Electrical. Nick who came to design the system filled us with confidence from the outset. Nick is an expert in his field and designed a system that works perfectly for our home. Amy the project manager was fab. The install involved removing our chimney Glenfield Electrical arranged for roofers to do this for us. The whole work from start to finish was completed in two days. The workmanship was excellent. The installers definitely knew what they were doing. Everything was left clean and tidy. The system is now working better than expected. Self sufficiency at the moment is running at approx 96%. Since the install we have exported 790kwh to the national grid and drawn just 7.70kwh from it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Glenfield Electrical for your solar install.

Unfortunately I can only comment on the company's response to my request for a meeting to look at potential domestic work. I left a message with reception as no one was available to talk to me and arrange a meeting and was promised i would receive a call back very shortly, This never happened despite chase up calls and similar promises over the last 4 days I'm still waiting. Administration seems very poor.

Solar panels and batteries, Getting a quote was good and efficient, did not get the hard sell and waffle that I got from other suppliers. Just facts, costs, detail and timings. Deposit paid and the back office worked well booked the job and rang to arrange scaffolding. They arrived at the allotted date and time. The electrical engineers that came to do the install were amazing, friendly explaining what they were doing, asking for confirmation of positioning but then getting on with the job. All completed ahead of time to a really tidy finish. Explained the safety features, the app and how to use and understand it. The system is working very well! Loving my new little power station!

We had a Tesla EV wall charging station installed at home. They came out to see the installation site and gave me a quote. They have been responsive when I had queries and in a friendly manner. On the day of the installation, the installer arrived on time and was knowledgeable. He did a very professional job and explained everything to me. Together we commissioned the charger and got the car to charge using the charging station. It's been like a couple of weeks since installation but no issues so far. I'm hoping that if there are any issues then they will do everything to help me out.

Extremely Disappointed with Glenfield Electrical 's Installation of Ring Doorbell and Floodlight Cameras. Glenfield Electrical installed a Ring Doorbell and three Ring Floodlight Cameras at my house, and I must say that my experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare. I encountered numerous issues throughout the entire process, and the company's unprofessionalism and lack of accountability were truly appalling. First and foremost, the installer named Marcin lost the screw for the doorbell during the installation but conveniently neglected to inform anyone about it, including myself. It was only when I noticed the missing screw that I realised something was amiss. This level of negligence and failure to communicate is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, it took a whopping 11 weeks for Glenfield Electrical to send someone to address the screw issue. However, the replacement screw they provided was the wrong size, protruding out of the bottom and causing further inconvenience and frustration. Yet again, Marcin failed to communicate this problem, leaving me to discover it on my own. This lack of attention to detail and disregard for customer satisfaction is inexcusable. Adding insult to injury, Marcin spoke to my wife in a condescending and patronizing manner during his visit, despite the fact that I have video footage clearly documenting his inappropriate behaviour. Surprisingly, when I brought this issue to Glenfield Electrical's attention, they were quick to dismiss my legitimate concerns. This blatant denial and refusal to address the disrespectful conduct of their employee demonstrates a severe lack of professionalism and integrity. In a feeble attempt to rectify their previous mistakes, Glenfield Electrical sent another technician named Will to replace the incorrect screw. However, he managed to chew the head of the screw, further compounding the already shoddy workmanship. And once again, rather than owning up to their mistakes, Glenfield Electrical chose to hide the problem by not disclosing the damage caused by their own employee. This pattern of deceit and cover-up only adds to the growing list of reasons why I cannot recommend this company to anyone. In conclusion, my experience with Glenfield Electrical was marked by incompetence, negligence, poor workmanship, and a complete lack of accountability. From losing screws to inappropriate behaviour and attempts to cover up mistakes, their level of service was far below expectations. I strongly advise against using their services unless you are willing to endure an exasperating ordeal.

We had an electrical safety inspection, the elements needed to pass, 4 new sockets and an extractor fan fitted in the bathroom. The team were amazing at arranging convenient times, quotes and punctual at carrying out the work. Communication was brilliant and the guys left our house very tidy! A pleasure to do business with Glenfield Electrical. Our engineer Amy was fantastic, super friendly, tidy and efficient, Shaun was great in giving a clear explaination when providing the quote and Julie in the office was a pleasure to deal with.

I had a heavy chandelier fitted to our bedroom ceiling. Dave was the electrician who visited. He was polite, friendly and professional. But I still have some reservations about the work: firstly instead of two planks of 47mm x 47mm x 600 timber he put one (Paul advised to double the planks to help distribute the load on the ceiling). Secondly the nuts on the bracket were not put on. Thirdly, the bolts are still loose. I spoke to Paul and Dave and they both reassured me that the work was sufficient and I should not have any issues for many years to come, although the base plate seems to be fractionally lower than it was previously. As I said I voiced my concerns but was told not to worry. I am also reassured by the fact that there is a 5 years guarantee on any electrical work carried out by the company, as stated on their website.

I can confidently recommend this company. Customer service is excellent, from initial survey/quotation by Paul through to the completion of all the work that was done by Tom. The required work was explained to me and I now am confident that the wiring in my house is safe (and I understand it!). Back-office service is also excellent with contacts and messages managed professionally and I was kept informed along the way. I would not hesitate to contact Glenfield Electrical again.

The installation of a storage heater was carried out efficiently and professionally. The electrician left everywhere clean and removed all the rubbish. He explained the working of the heater to me before he left.

I had an unknown issue that shut off all my power, Dave & Ellie came out at the correct time and went about fault finding, quickly narrowing down the issue to a particular circuit, Checking all the linked sockets to find the culprit & checked for other issues, thankfully there were none, so they replaced the faulty socket and got us all up and running again. They were very friendly and professional. Will definitely call Glenfield Electrical in future when needed.

Just moved so needed urgent repair work. Very quick response with reasonable quote. Work agreed and booked within a couple of weeks. Work done was excellent with minimal mess in the property. Good communication and work completed on time.

Really professional from start to finish, 2nd time I've used them now. We had quite a bit of work to do, there wasn't enough capacity in the circuits for the age of the house and modern day living. Consumer unit changed, new ring installed, extra sockets added, garage rewired etc... Paul, came and advised us of what our best options were; when quoting. Dave and Will came and carried out all of the work in a week which was great, both on time daily, quick and professional. Would definately recommend.

Paul who supplied the quote was efficient and knew what he was talking about so that was fine. The quote was a bit high compared to others but we went with it as the job was a professional job and could be done within our time frame. Or so we thought. It was booked in by Glenfield on the wrong day after I specifically said the 14th not the 15th. So a wasted day off work and I wasn’t very impressed that Glenfield didn’t even say sorry or do anything to make it right. I’ll be avoiding in future. Update: In response to the reply, I never received any confirmation emails or texts only a 24 hour email.

We had Glenfield Electrics do some work for us. Dave & Will came out and were absolutely fab! They put sockets into our shed, greenhouse & on our patio, lights under our kitchen cabinets, moved a socket for us, put an electric radiator in our bathroon and changed our electric box. They worked for 3 days and explained everything to me. They made sure I was happy to go ahead with any work they was doing. They went through everything they had done at the end of each day. Very happy and 2 really lovely bloke! I would 100% recommend

Ash and Will did a fantastic job replacing our old fuse box. It doesn't look like spaghetti junction any more. In fact it looks like a smart motorway! Tested all the electrics before leaving our house nice a tidy. Very happy.

Really great firm. Carried out a few jobs today, very efficient, on time and respectful. My parents who were present at the time are now going to use them should they need them purely off the back of what they witnessed today.

Really excellent. Had them in to sort out some light fittings, add new sockets and fix one that wasn't working. They were quick, clean, efficient and friendly. Would recommend them to anyone.
