Light & Ignite Ltd

Recently bought in Consett and required an electrician to do some work. Antony at light and ignite was absolutely fantastic. Great communication and when I needed extra jobs doing on top of the original work he was more than happy to oblige. Would highly recommend his services

Friendly and professional, really respectful and polite I.e. wearing shoe protectors etc. Replied to my request for a quote really quickly, came out within days and did the job efficiently and with thought. Tidied up after they had finished and were a pleasure to deal with. Faultless, wouldn't hesitate to use Light and Ignite again for future work.

Same day service. Fast and efficient. Chap that came was polite and answered all my questions. Will have no hesitation calling them in future.

I can highly recommend Light & Ignite's services. Recently, they completed a boiler service with speed and professionalism. You can now make online booking requests for any electrical or gas work, which makes the process very smooth from the beginning. It's a pleasure to support a family business, who obviously work together really well to return that support to their clients. Antony and son rewired my house a few years back, and I have recommended them to many friends in the interim. I was delighted to hear that his son is now also fully qualified. I am already planning further work for the team in the next couple of months, and quite simply would not approach anyone else. They don't just do a good job while treating your home with respect, but are also really on the ball with paperwork and follow up. 5 star rating fully deserved!

Excellent company to deal with, good communication, came on time and couldn't fault the work. They were very professional, I would highly recommend

Brilliant service, my electrical issue with underfloor heating was resolved quickly and at a very competitive price. Would 100% recommend.

Brilliant service, turned up on time, were done within an hour, very reasonable. I'm one very happy customer.

I have engaged Light & Ignite Ltd to carry out several projects in my home. This has included installation of security cameras all round my home in 2022. Installation of a new central heating boiler in 2023. The boiler has been serviced by this organisation over a number of years and became obvious that it had to be replaced in 2023. Light & Ignite has the contract to continue the servicing into the future. They installed a new fuse board in my home a couple of months ago to meet the new industrial standards. I am a retired professional Engineer and can confirm that all the work has been caried out to the professional standards required. I am happy to recommend Light & Ignite Ltd as a professional organisation that know what they are doing. They can be relied upon to carry out the work required to the customers satisfaction. Signed Peter Park

Light & Ignite are our go to company for all aspects of electrical work, because Anthony is reliable, trustworthy and extremely knowledgeable, which puts our mind at ease knowing our work has been carried out correctly and safely. Anthony quotes for future jobs without any pushy selling and we know that there will be no ‘hidden extras’ and he leaves the work area spotless once he has finished. You are in safe hands with Light & Ignite!

The experience we had with Light & Ignite was fantastic, service was exceptional the job we needed doing was quite a rush job, that was no problem for Antony. Very clean worker, you could see he took pride in his work, knew exactly what he was doing we were kept informed every step of the way. Light and Ignite is definitely one to have on speed dial, can’t praise them enough. All I can say is use him you won’t be disappointed. Absolutely fab. :)

I’ve had gas and electrical jobs done in my home by these guys. It is a small company - a dad and his apprentice son. They are very pleasant to deal with; they have a great work ethic and work to high standards - they get on with what needs to be done. Dad is supporting his son to learn all aspects of the business and they work very well together. Everything was left clean and tidy when finished. They are friendly and professional; local to DL14 but cover a much wider area as their reputation for quality, safe work grows their family business. 👍 Brilliant local company. I highly recommend Light and Ignite.

Without a doubt the most down to earth (electrical joke) company ...however if your looking for top quality professional work then give this crew a call 😀

I honestly could not be happier with the excellent work carried out by Light&Ignite. Everything was done professionally and to the highest standard. He comes on time and never lets us down. Top quality workmanship.

Google Nest Learning Thermostat installed and in-depth explanation of programming… job well done!!!
