JIH Electrical Ltd

James' team were punctual and completed a variety of jobs( new sockets, lighting and installing a new plinth heater) to a high standard in one day. They left the house neat and tidy. Would definitely recommend.

Really impressed with the service from JIH! James was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Managed to get an EV charger installed quicker than any other company could and at a very competitive price. Alex came and did a great job fitting it. Very professional, would highly recommend and will not hesitate to use again!

Alex fitted a new fuse box.. He is very helpful & professional and did an excellent job. We’ve been consistently happy with the work JIH have done for us.

The team at JIH quoted and installed x2 electric car charging points. James was very knowledgeable and helped me pick the right ones and the job was booked in two weeks later. The lads (Alex & Alex) turned up on time with all the right materials and installed them both in the same day. They were very polite and diligent and helped me set up the app and make sure it was all working before they left. The cost and service was outstanding I will be using the team again and recommend them.

JIH Electrical's google reviews were all top rate so I felt confident getting them in for a quote, rather than worry about getting quotes from multiple sources. James came over and did a quick check of the layout of my meters, RCD and garage and suggested a few wall charger options. The price was at the lower end of what I expected and the products they quoted for gave me a few options at different price points. They scheduled in an appointment within a couple of days which was great. Alex fitted the charger and arrived exactly on time, quickly reviewed with me what he was going to do and got to work. He didn't stop for a drink and just motored on through and completed the install inside of a couple of hours, neatly wiring the cable from the meter box inside my garage and out to the wall charger unit. He then helped me register on the Hypervolt app and gave me the basics to get started with. Courteous and to the point, I felt happy with the service Alex gave and would certainly use JIH Electrical again.

Excellent, friendly service, very professional. Explained what was happening and took the time to check that the job was completed appropriately and to our satisfaction. Would definitely use again in future and would highly recommend. Thank you!

So pleased these were recommended, jobs completed in a very good time frame and very professional, very helpful in finding a problem that needed fixing. Will definitely be using them again and recommend them to others.

Had a bathroom fan and some earth-bonding done. One of James' team did both parts, told me what the plan was and discussed where everything was for some significant holes to be drilled. Got it all done right first time and cleaned up too. Came back to do a final touch up.

Very friendly and efficient service, highly recommend!

A highly professional and competent company. Everything done on time and budget. We had four of the team on our job and all were super nice guys. Thoroughly recommend every aspect of JIH Electrical.

JIH were fantastic, gave a great experience and helped to break down any issues. Would recommend to anyone.

JIH replied promptly and were able to commence work quickly. Installation of bathroom extractor fan went smoothly and job was done well. Pleased with results would recommend and hire them again.

Reasonably priced, efficient, neat work. When my kitchen circuit failed during a recent storm I feared it would involve total rewiring to that area and that it would be out over Christmas. Instead James scheduled in the job fairly quickly and Alex came up with a canny solution to solve the problem at a fraction of the cost that I’d feared and minimal disruption. Christmas dinner’s back on! Very happy with the service. Thanks guys.

We had a car charger install. Great communication and no issues. Would recommend.

Great service very happy! Would recommend

Really quick to respond and very polite throughout. Clear communication and very professional. Appreciated their understanding and flexibility. Would happily use JIH Electrical in the future.

Great, reliable service. Friendly and professional with a very competitive price

Spot on. James was great to deal with, excellent communication, happy to work around my schedule where he could to assess what needed to be done. The work was completed by Alex, who was thorough, professional and explained all the steps, even helping me on the call to get the charger to MyEnergi to get the charger registered. Top lads. Thank you.

Alex B came as scheduled to perform a new Hypervolt 3 installation. He was friendly and an absolute professional. He did a superb job with the installation and really happy with the result. James was fantastic in dealing with the National Grid on my behalf and answered all my questions promptly and clearly. I cannot recommend these people enough. If you need a new EV charger, use them for a personal service that is fantastic.

Great from start to finish, good communication around options and quickly received a quote. All the work has been carried out to a high standard and they kept us informed the whole time. Would definitely recommend and will be using them again.

Had JIH out today to fit some external spotlights to the garage and up-down lights at the front of the house. James originally came to quote, on time and a fair price for the works. Alex M and Alex B came and did the work, again on time, very professional and done a really tidy job. Aesthetically we wanted the finish to be smart, and they took great care to achieve this. Would use again and highly recommend.

JIH Electrical were recommended to me, so I requested a quote and was pleased to receive efficient, prompt and helpful replies from James throughout. Communication has been excellent and I was kept updated until my installation day. Alex arrived on time and carried out a very professional job installing my new Hypervolt Home Pro 3 EV charger. Alex asked exactly where I wanted the charger and cables to be located, explained all the work he was carrying out, and shared his knowledge of the product so I knew how to get the most from it. Alex left my home and driveway clean and tidy, and I am delighted with the quality of the installation and the charger works perfectly! I would highly recommend JIH Electrical and would choose them again for any future electrical work :)

Alex did an amazing job. He turned up when he said he would and replaced and rewired 9 light fittings around the house inside and out. Everything is working perfectly and looks great. The house was left spotless after the work was complete and Alex showed how the sensor to the outside light would work which was good to know. Will definitely use JIH in the future.

I have used twice now, first time for electrical check prior to purchasing a property and second time to remove and move some ceiling lights and sort surround sound. Both times communication was great, workers professional and work done to a great standard. Will definitely use again if I need anything doing

We used these guys to install our car charger. Great service and communication, before and during the install. We highly recommend.

James is really responsive, we've just had an electrical test done. Very professional and personable service.

They did a full rewire for us and I will 100% use them again if I need any more electrical work doing

JIH fitted an EV charging station at my home. JIH responded to all my queries, arrived on time for their appointments, worked non stop, cleaned and tidied up before they left. Their workmanship was good. My only slight criticism was that the younger technician took a long time to thread a cable from the house interior, and with hind sight he could have re-sited on a neater route. That said I would use JIH again with no hesitation. Would I recommend them to a friend - definitely

James installed & tested a new consumer unit, new sockets, light fittings and smoke alarms. Our recently bought 1950s house is now up to date with building regs Part P. JIH also installed a new alarm system. We are very happy with the work & would recommend.

Great service and great manners. The work carried out on my bathroom refurb with this electrical company was fantastic. I would recommend this company to others and would use again for any future works.

JIH put a plug socket in a bay window for us. Initially they looked at what we were trying to achieve and they proposed a few solutions. They gave us a quote for the solutions and the amount we were quoted was the amount we paid. We were pleased with the quality of the job done - it was thought through beforehand, it was tidy, and the electrician cleaned up after himself. The electrician himself was punctual, polite, and friendly.

I needed a new socket added to my bedroom and found JIH via Checkatrade/NICEIC, as I was working around a built in wardrobe install I had a few months leeway so it wasn't urgent, but its always difficult to book trades as they are so very busy, plus it was a smaller task. James replied to my email within a day and I was booked in within a few weeks. Alex completed the Job, and was knowledgeable, polite and did a very neat job. Rate was very reasonable, I would definitely use again.

Great communication (which is a rarity these days) and high standard of work. This is a company that you can trust and James went out of his way to schedule my job around other work I was having done. I’ll happy use JIH again!

JIH recently performed a survey of the electrical services in a house we are purchasing. James has done a few Landlords electrical certificates for me. Very happy with the quality of work and he was very professional, would recommend.

I highly recommend. We'd been getting power cuts for a while and thought it was different things tripping the house and even had another electrician to take a look at our Dishwasher, for the problem but he couldn't diagnose anything. Took him about 30 seconds to work out the problem was in the fuse box area (thanks to new home house builders) and then went out of his way to source the part and bring in back as quick as he could.

James came out to attend to our street lights. Despite a complex issue his advice and professionalism shone through. He attended site several times always being in attendance when he said he would be. We have used james before and will again

Turned up on time. Installed and provided all necessary docs once work completed. Left area tidy No pressure purchase Plus...... He Identified/advised me on some previous work I had done on electrical box through another company which would of invalidated house insurance and cost me another £500 to correct.

Superb service. Polite, efficient and listened well to our needs. Neat job and very tidy.

JIH Electrical were recommended to us and James and his team have just completed a wiring and lighting job at our house. They have done a quality job with the certificate issued same day - something I have had to chase for with other electricians. A special mention goes to Alex who completed the second fix - he could not have done more to ensure we were entirely happy with his work. Thank you.

Installed spotlights throughout our home and they look great! James and team are very friendly and responsive - would definitely recommend.

I've used JIH twice now and wouldn't hesitate to use again. Both times they have been very professional. The work is to an excellent standard, done quickly with no fuss and very reasonably priced. Certificates and invoice sent on day of completion. I couldn't ask for more, brilliant service.

Had JIH electrical install a new consumer unit for us as we wanted to upgrade our shower to a more powerful one, spent half hour on the phone giving me advice on what options I had, turned up on the day on time and did a fantastic job, very neat workmanship, I'm a very picky person to deal with when it comes to people working in my home, but credit where credits due. I will be using JIH Electrical in the future and have no problems in recommending them 5/5

His work and that of his staff was excellent and tidy and we have already asked him to quote for other work at the hall. Allan Calladine (trustee)

James came to install a new fuse box and check our electrics for safety. He was extremely knowledgeable and reassuring from the initial phone call. Although the job presented problems these were tackled with positive good nature and reassurance.
