Friendly staff with prompt and easy communication. Very responsive and easy to deal with. Installation was straightforward, installer was friendly and efficient too. Would have given 5 stars if the installer had cleaned up properly afterwards. But overall very happy.

Professional from arrival to finish. Clear directions of the work process and clear up at the end.

Very good service thanks

1st class service. Ohme charger was fitted without any hassle

Mine was a non-standard installation requiring a trench dug and placing the charger on a post. Installers did a great job. Thanks

Top class service from start to finish, garage wired with a new board and EV charger fitted. Tidy work completed to a high standard and the team were fantastic from admin staff right through to completion of works.

From start to finish the service we received was excellent. The team arrived on time, worked quickly & efficiently & tidied up on completion of the job. They were very helpful & took time to explain the device & set up the app for me to use. I would definitely use Design Electrical again

Fitted an electric car charger at my home. Extremely professional from organizing the visit right through to issuing the test certificate after completion. Installer was friendly efficient and very tidy. Would recommend them to anyone.

I have just had a New EV charger fitted by design electrical. Engineers were excellent as usual. Recommended a Zappi which links to the solar panels. My charger is further away from the house than normal so they had to do an extra call out to improve the connection. Working perfectly now. Have used them as well for replacing an inverter for the solar panels. Cant recomment them highly enough.

In May 2021 Design Electrical NI being local government ‘approved installer’ installed for me an EV charger and supporting electrical supply ‘consumer unit’. Initially everything seemed fine and I was seemingly pleased with the work. However, after about two and a bit years the EV charger gave me some problems. On contacting Design I was ‘referred’ forthwith on to the charger manufacturer EO who eventually, with some software updates and other guidance/advice, resolved the issue. Now, a little over 3 years on from installation [and out of any warranty] the electrical supply ‘consumer unit’ has developed a fault. On inspection/ examination it was found; as shown in the pictures, that ‘stuffed’ into the enclosure and ‘resting’ gently on the wiring loom, because the DIN rail is TOO short and the enclosure TOO small to properly accommodate it; a Contactum SPD DIN rail module. [Of course is such a position there is no way to see the status indicators and therefore to know if the module is functioning or needs replacing!] Up until this point there had been no need/call to remove the cover and see what was inside! I’ve never seen a ‘loose’ module ‘stuffed’ into a consumer unit before! For me there are two ways of ‘doing a job’: Best engineering practice v absolute minimal acceptable standard. I think I know which one this now is for me. I don’t think I’ll be calling on Design any time soon! Further to my review above and Design's reply i contacted them as invited. They responded very quickly and without hesitation or 'quibble' they arranged an engineer to come and replace the consumer unit. This he did, in a very 'professional' way, the 'job' is now for me, in the category of 'Best Engineering Practice'. I must acknowledge both this and also how Design have dealt with me and the issue. I guess for both of us, Design and myself, it's a bit of a shame the orignal installer wasn't as fastidious with it all! so, there are now '3 before' & '2 after' photos where you can compare and contrast and readily now see all the modules correctly installed

As before, personable electricians/engineers were punctual, fast, efficient and expert when installing my EV Wall Charger (BP Pulse). The unit was connected to my Wi-Fi and my car - and the charging process was commenced effectively. Design Electrical's "dedicated" managerial and co-ordinating input, from beginning to end (by Jane) was very much appreciated. I am, once more, indebted to Jane - it's Engineers and Design Electrical - as a whole!

Asked for ev charger to be installed. Price was more than reasonable . 2 electricians came out the next day and had it done in a morning. Great business and great team from officer worker Jane to the boys on the ground. Couldn’t recommend them enough. Charger works perfectly .

They are very professional and completed the job with quality and well ahead of stated time.

Got the EV charger fitted at my home. They were very friendly and responsive. They are very professional and they did a quality work.

Great experience with Design Electrical NI. Jane was brilliant helping with the most suitable EV Charger and knowledge of the grant scheme, then the 2 guys installing where very efficient and tidy with the additional cabling required. Would definitely recommend.

They originally installed my charger and I moved house and needed them to remove it and reinstall it. In my new place. They came out on time and removed it and then came out to install in the new property very quickly. Which helped ease some of the stress of moving. I'd highly recommend these folks. Great service and very reliable.

Design Electrical NI were great to deal with. Very swift and made everything straight forward and when we got notification that our car was going to be delivered early Design Electrical NI were happy to do their best to speed up our installation and we have the charger before the car arrived! Lisa was really helpful, I would highly recommend Design Electrical NI.

Installation of Rolec Wallpod EV charger carried out by Dan and James to a very high standard. Design Electrical NI. are a very professional company and my thanks to Mark and Judy for arranging a speedy installation. I would highly recommend the company for any electrical work, knowledgeable, friendly, efficient and value for money.

Excellent service, very professional. Brilliant value. Well done giys.

from the friendly helpful telephone reception to the efficiency of the installers and the quality of their work 'top draw' all the way, 1st. class all round

Very professional, friendly and courteous. Easy to arrange the install after providing photos to help with the survey and obtain a quote. The electricians arrived on time and carried out a very neat, tidy and professional installation. They were very friendly to talk to and happy to explain what work was being done as well as carrying out the install as per my request (charger location, where the cable was to be routed etc). The supplied charger was the one I asked for and was recommended (EO Mini Pro 2). It's compact, looks good and performs well. The EV Charger grant was sorted for me and included in the price, I simply had to sign the grant form to confirm installation. Very pleased with the work carried out and the friendly nature of this organisation. I have already recommended to others looking for an EV charger.

Many thanks to all the team from the initial enquiry to the installation. All questions answered and nothing ever too much trouble. Cheers

A super experience from start to finish - professional and responsive with a very high standard of workmanship. Customer service was also excellent and included carrying out the grant application and timely issuance of the NICEIC inspection and test certificate

Design Electrical NI installed an EO electric car charger. Lisa is extremely professional, efficient and courteous. She provided the information required, answered any queries and provided an accurate timeline for each step of the process, keeping me updated at each stage. Colin arrived punctually and fitted the charger with the minimum of fuss, always clear in his guidance. Once again, professional, efficient and friendly. I can recommend this company for a job well done.

We had a very positive experience with this company. Clear information, very helpful. Professional service and the installation was faultless.

Design Electrical NI installed an EV charger at my home recently and they were excellent. I went for an Anderson A2 and there was a delay in the supply from the factory but Judy and Lisa were proactive and always kept me updated with the order. The installer was very professional and carried out the installation with minimal fuss and intrusion. I can highly recommend this company for any EV installation and their staff are first class to deal with.

Had an EV charger installation carried out by the engineers. Both the contact with the company and installation was quickly and professionally handled. The installation was expertly and tidily performed, and all credit to the engineers for maintaining social distancing policies. A post-installation query was also handled extremely swiftly and professionally by the company, which exceeded all expectations. I highly recommend the company and will certainly use them in future for any electrical work. Many thanks.

Judy managed to co-ordinate a speedy installation despite the challenges of lcokdown! The 2 person team who installed the charger were efficient and left the area immaculate despite the drilling required. Would be happy to recommend this company.

Clarified needs and situation before hand by photos. Essential to identify distance from "fuse box" to unit.

Quick response, no hassle, job done ✅

Needed to highlight this professional team. Jason, in particular is a star, a true gent. Fantastic experienced electrican he will listen to your requirements and explain the best solution. For me, most importantly he made me feel reassured and confident that the unwanted live sockets were made safe, covered and left neat and clean. Trust is a must. Judy, who I spoke to get my work booked in was very polite and a great communicator. Mark, keep up the great work.
