Marvellous Electricals

Fuse box kept tripping with no obvious cause. An electrician from ME Ltd arrived at the agreed time and carried out very thorough fault-finding. Identified the cause as a loose wire in a kitchen socket. After carrying out further checks, also found an issue with the wiring to an upstairs socket. Both faults were repaired, and electrician clearly explained how they were likely to have developed. After rerunning all the tests, the fuse box tripped again, but only when the kettle was used. As it was an old kettle, it was likely that it had been affected by the socket fault. Got new kettle and no further issue. Very happy with my experience with Marvellous Electricals. The cost was fair, and I would definitely use them again.

Excellent service, prompt, respectful, and very reasonable price. We had extra sockets put in front bedrooms, very happy with the work.

I called Marvy halfway through our kitchen renovation when we realised we were a bit out of our depth with the electronics. He came the next day and sorted a few urgent issues to make things safe so we could prepare for the new kitchen being fitted. Marvy and his colleague then came back to do a range of jobs including fitting our induction hob circuit and moving around some sockets. He was friendly, professional and very good value for money. Planning to use him again in new year to help with electronics for garden office project. Thank you, you helped us out so much.

Marvin has been a life saver for me in sorting out my electrical issues. I was left with no electricity and heating overnight. Called him in the morning was responsive and was there in good time and sorted the issue swiftly and professionally as well.

Amazing service and truly professional work! The team was very neat, quick and left no mess at all.

Excellent service from Marvin. He came to my house where I was having a few problems with a ring main ( it kept tripping) , the challenge was trying to find it. Not only did Marvin call to say he had finished a job early and could come to me straight away, he found the problem quite quickly and sorted it. Lovely guy, really polite and professional. He’s added to my contacts now. Thanks again Marvin, you are brilliant.

Amazing service! Very reasonably priced and was very professional. Put my 2 ceiling lights up very quickly and my wall lights up in my bathroom. He only came to fit one light fitting, but was very happy to put up all the rest for me. The only electrician I will trust from now as his first impression was everything! Don’t hesitate to contact !

We've hired Marvellous Electricals several times now for lighting and electrical work around our home, and each experience has been outstanding. Marvy is everything you’d want in an electrician: punctual, patient, and highly experienced. He takes the time to really understand what you're looking for, and often suggests great ideas based on his professional insight and what will work best for your space. Beyond his technical skill, he’s an incredibly kind and respectful person. You feel completely at ease having him in your home, which is something we truly value. We wouldn’t go to anyone else for electrical work now. If you’re looking for someone reliable, professional, and genuinely great to deal with, we highly recommend Marvellous Electricals.

Great electrician! Used more than once for multiple electrical installations at home would highly recommend!

Marvy and his team did a very professional job taking care of all matters electrical when we gutted and had our kitchen re-fitted. The wiring was over 20 years old and we were modernising with a new induction hob, spotlights, switches in the kitchen to control external lighting etc. All of this work was completed very professionally and whilst we had some ideas of how we wanted things (how many sockets and where to place them along the wall above the work-top), Marvy added massive value by offering his experience and we took his advice. Suffice to say, he was absolutely right and we remain delighted with our kitchen and all the electrical work which Marvy and the team completed. This was all delivered in a friendly, collaborative and respectful way - punctual, communicating well around appointments etc. I would use Marvy again - no question.

I recently hired Marv to install an electric fireplace, Ring doorbells and cameras, and a bathroom vent. His work was excellent from start to finish. Marv was professional, punctual, and completed everything with a quick turnaround. He paid great attention to detail, worked cleanly, and made sure everything was installed properly and safely. It’s clear Marv takes pride in his work and cares about doing the job right the first time. If you’re looking for a reliable, skilled, and professional electrician, I highly recommend Marv. I’ll definitely be calling him again for future projects.
