Yorkshire Electricians Ltd

Great prompt and professional service, excellent 👍

Absolutely great company - saved me money and hassle from another company that let me down. WhatsApp was so easy to arrange a time and the payment online just as easy. The electrician that came out was friendly and made a nice tidy job. Definitely use this company again and highly recommend. Thanks Phil.

Had Yorkshire Electricians Ltd. in for kitchen refit, couldn’t fault them excellent service from Simon. 5 star rating and 100% recommend.

Great service, had the house fully rewired, thought it would be a massive job but it was better than I thought, Simon worked long days to finish the job and was very tidy and coped well with all our stuff!

Proper decent, helpful, down to earth team. I’ve got so much time for Sean and Simon, just really nice guys as well as excellent electricians. They quoted and rewired our whole kitchen in March 2025. Highly recommend.

Excellent service. Thankyou

Very efficient and extremely professional. The quote we received was more than fair and was done within a couple of days. Would defiantly do business with them in the future

Another excellent job! We always use Yorkshire Electricians as they are reliable, clearly explain everything from start to finish, and make sure it's done safely and efficiently. They also leave everything neat and tidy which is always a bonus. Highly recommend if your looking for a trustworthy electrician!

Work was done very efficiently and he was very thorough. Happy with your service

I needed to install a new Induction cooker after moving house. Yorkshire Electricians came over quickly, gave a quote, helped me understand my options, and kept in touch to organise installation when I ordered the appliance. The work involved installing a new higher amp circuit for the induction cooker, an isolation switch, and related work. On the initial phone call, they explained that the cost for such work would depend on my existing wiring and board. On their first visit they assessed the costs and discussed the layout. They worked with me for a solution that fit my needs. On the day they arrived promptly, planned the work, and carried it out to a high standard. During the work we identified a pair osockets dangerously located behind the cooker. They agreed to move this socket in addition to the rest of the work, costing the extra work resonably. The work was extremely clean, minimal to no dirt or damage. Very friendly and polite with both me and my partner. When an installed component was cracked, they worked to find a replacement immediately. Leaving the work at the end of the day in perfect order.

We had an electrical short and we figured we'd install a couple of dimmer switches while we're at it. Scheduling was easy and Simon quickly isolated and solved the short, He then replaced the switches in minutes. Highly recommended!

We enquired originally for a quotation on the phone with Shaun, and found him to be most helpful and knowledgeable, we arranged a time and agreed the quoted electrical works to be done. Very professional attitude and approachable. Simon is a credit to the company too, very hard working, he never stopped, Shaun kept us informed all the way and the guys were super tidy. They made it a relaxing and stress-free operation and we are very happy with the service the guys delivered. Thank you.

Great service, easy to book and friendly service. On time, polite and do a great job!

Came out same day which was appreciated, quickly diagnosed and resolved the problem. Great service!

Excellent work to resolve a fault making sure everything was tidy afterwards too.

I’ve just had Yorkshire Electricians complete a safety inspection, fault finding on my fusebox and some other minor repairs around the house. Can’t fault the service at all. Good communication, workmanship and they actually do what they say they are going to do. Great team lads. Thank you

We are disappointed with Yorkshire Electricians Ltd. as they spent 6 hours at our home trying to find an electrical problem that was tripping our fuse but failed to identify the source of the issue. We brought in another company which systematically tested the 3 areas of our garden lighting and identified the problem by using a multi function tester which measures resistance. This seems to have been the best approach because it took 3 hours and the problem was solved. Yorkshire Electricians seemed to be at a loss throughout and were just employing a trial and error approach which of course was good for them as they were charging an hourly rate but very bad for me, the customer. I have refused to pay their bill and will never consider using them again.

Fantastic service. Couldn’t fault these guys. I needed an electric hob installed. Called and spoke to Shaun who sent a quote through straight away and had someone out in the hour. Brilliant service. New hob installed and working perfectly. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic service and very helpful and friendly

Really great service, the guys were knowledgeable and kept me informed, gave me a great rundown after the works were complete and they were great with my kids and dogs too. Couldn’t have asked for a better service really!

Shaun and his team completed a full re-wire on my 1930s 5 bed house in 2 weeks. We couldn’t fault them. There was very limited plastering required, and no damage caused in a room with original oak wooden panels which was not a straightforward job. They did a stella job on time and left the house cleaner than when they started. I am arranging for them to come back to install outside lighting soon.

We had lights that did not work in our bedroom since we moved in. Had an engineer round from our insurance and basically tell us it was gonna be a huge job. Well it was a pretty big job in the end, lifting up carpets, underlay, chipboard flooring and insulation to get to the fittings from above, but despite arriving at 4:30, Simon stayed until the job was done and even offered look at something else afterwards for no extra charge. He was lovely, really helpful, explained everything he did, and wanted to charge us for 2 hours despite doing 2hrs 30mins labour but I insisted since he had been so good. Would use again, 5/5.

Yorkshire Electrician’s have completed electrical work within numerous bathrooms on our jobs and everytime the work has been great and efficient.

Yorkshire Electricians Ltd were absolutely fantastic when we had a fault on a Sunday afternoon which resulted in the freezer, other appliances and some lights not working when we were in the middle of cooking a large family meal. Shaun responded to our call immediately and gave us advice on the phone for things we could try ourselves . When we couldn’t resolve it, he came out less than an hour later on a Sunday evening and stayed until the fault was detected and fixed. We can’t thank him enough. This is the second time we have used Yorkshire Electricians Ltd - a highly skilled and knowledgeable team. Would highly recommend for anything electrical big or small.

Shaun and his team did a full rewire, fitted outdoor sockets and outdoor lights, they were very professional, very helpful, very polite and did an excellent job, highly recommend!

Simon replaced an outdoor socket which was damaged the same day I reported it. Communication between the head office, tech and myself was 1st Class. Job was completed quickly and professionally to my total satisfaction. Highly recommended! Mjf Bilton

Excellent experience and result! Two beautiful new hallway lights fitted, needing expertise given traditional style. Precise, dedicated work, not settling until job done properly. Easy and stress-free communication. Would certainly use again.

Very Professional service from start to finish. A big thank you to Shaun and Simon.Highly recommended. Hope to deal with them in the future.

An excellent service. Good communication and efficient and thoughtful response.

Provided quote on time. Electrician came at the time they said they would so no waiting around. 1st fix completed to a high standard and kept up to date regarding 2nd fix date. All completed today including a complicated socket install into our island unit which was done to a really high standard. Ensured all appliances and sockets were working prior to completion. Overall very happy with the service provided

Visit made by Simon promptly and on time But please be aware that the call out bill is payable according to the companies policy whether a fix is provided or not

From the start, Shaun, the director of the business, was generous with his time and expert advice. I ended up having his team to do work over two days, replacing spotlights throughout my bungalow and properly supplying electricity to my garage. His colleague Simon was professional, courteous and efficient. His workmanship was absolutely excellent. The whole process from quoting for the work, to arranging availability, to the job itself, and then a final professional invoice with a window to pay. It was fantastic value for money in my opinion, and Shaun is someone who inspires trust and confidence due to his honesty, knowledge and experience. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Top job! Turned up when they said they would, left everything nice and clean and went over and above in terms of fitting. Definitely recommend.

First class work. Couldn’t have asked for a better service and top quality . Thank you

I would highly recommend Yorkshire Electricians, they provided a fantastic service throughout. I had a long list of small bits of electricial work that needed sorting after moving house, and Shaun painstakingly went through the list (and offered advice) via WhatsApp before promptly providing a very reasonable quote. Simon carried out the work a week later, turning up on time and methodically working his way through the list (fixing sockets, changing light switches, fixing smoke alarms etc.) while minimising disruption and keeping things tidy. It really feels like the team take pride in their work and I was impressed by their professionalism throughout. I would definitely use Yorkshire Electricians again and will be recommending them to friends and family!

Excellent work replacing a fluorescent tube with an LED light fitting. Communication good, turned up on time and the job left neat and tidy. Impressive.

I recently had Yorkshire Electricians out to install two extra sockets in a room for us. The worker was on time, polite, cleaned up after himself and - most importantly - was thorough in his checking of things which resulted in a referral to Northern Powergrid. Yorkshire Electricians also followed up with me to check that Northern Powergrid were doing what they were supposed to be doing, which was much appreciated. The minor works cert for the job was issued in a timely manner and the price was very reasonable for the work. Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend.

Really professional service, carried out to a high standard. Friendly and reliable. I would highly recommend.

Excellent electricians! Super friendly and professional, did a great job and was really happy with the price too. 100% reccommend.

Simon came to fix some mixed up wiring in my new house and was really lovely. Got the job done quickly with no fuss. Would definitely recommend!

I contacted Yorkshire Electricians Ltd on Sunday and by Monday morning they provided a very reasonable quote and booked me a slot with the electrician. Couldn't be happier with the friendly and efficient service I received. Will definitely be using them again.

Very happy with with the work that Yorkshire Electricians did in changing a number of switches. Shaun in the office was really helpful in explaining the different types of systems when lights are operated by multiple switches. Simon the electrician who attended was friendly and helpful and tidy. Many thanks, good to have a reliable local firm.

Very efficient!

Great service and friendly people. Sorted out my problem quickly and efficiently and I'll definitely be using them again

Absolute pleasure having Shaun and his team do all the electrical work on our new kitchen.installation From first quote to completion they did exactly as promised and carried out their work to the highest of standards. Cannot recommend Yorkshire Electricians highly enough

Excellent service . I particularly appreciated the accurate and timely sharing of information and advice given at every step . I have full confidence in the work and will ask Shaun to work for us again

Shaun came and undertook some electrical work at our house he offered a great service, good communication and at a great price. Can't recommend him highly enough will definitely be using him again in the future.

So happy with the work Shaun and his team did. Communication was excellent, things were kept as tidy as possible - really appreciated that none of the tiles in the kitchen were damaged! Shaun was flexible and the work was finished ahead of time. 100% recommended.

Excellent work from Yorkshire Electricians. They've just finished replacing the consumer unit, running some heating spurs and fitting an outside socket, and I'd highly recommend them. The service was great, with excellent communication before, during and after the visit. Shaun and Loren have great attitudes and are very professional, friendly, and helpful. Shaun explained the work needed in a clear but not patronising way, answered all my questions and gave sensible options and recommendations. Loren was a star. (A special call-out for running the cables through the really tight loft space!). All work was done to a very high standard, with an extremely neat installation, and they left the place tidy afterwards. I'm already planning to use them again for more work.

Had to call on Yorkshire Electricians due to an emergency.Prompt professional service with a clear outline of potential costs. Resolved the issue.

Shaun and Loren are a fantastic team, highly professional and very polite and friendly, a pleasure to have around. Excellent, extremely high quality and competitive work, I couldn't recommend them more highly. They did an electricity installation check and then re-wired our 1880s terrace, and then a few weeks later took out an old electric shower. They were very clear and upfront with everything, providing itemised professional quotes (that in the end actually came in under budget as they managed to make some savings as they went) and clear advice - eg advising that we could wait to re-wire, and clearly going through the pros and cons to help us decide. Shaun went out of his way to fit us in, including working over the bank holiday weekend. We are not experts, but a friend who is an electrical engineer happened to stop by and said the work was exceptionally neat and done to a very high standard. They were very safety conscious and left everything very tidy afterwards. Shaun couldn't have been more helpful in talking us through the whole process and helping us to understand more about how our electrics work. He also gave some excellent recommendations for getting other work done. This made what could have been a really daunting process much easier to navigate. I was working alongside them on other things while they were doing the work, and always felt super comfortable - it was lovely to have the company! Especially for women living alone and LGBTQ+ customers they are a fabulous firm and a lovely and super respectful and friendly team.

Very professional, tidy work, carried out in a timely way. Documentation provided detailing work carried out. Pleasure to have these people in our home. Can definitely recommend.

Excellent service from Shaun and his team who have undertaken a full rewire of our new home. From the outset they explained options, outlined pros and cons and were honest in advice in pointing out things that were not cost effective. As a woman on maternity leave with a baby managing house renovations, I really appreciated that I was not talked down to (unlike some other companies I received quotes from). They completed the project to a very high standard within very short time frames, and were very clean and courteous especially to our neighbours. I would highly recommend and we will be using them again.

Absolutely marvellous service. Polite, efficient, clean and tidy. Worked on kitchen installation, moving and adding sockets, connecting all the appliances and replaced the electrical panel to bring it up to regulation standards. Very helpful and made excellent suggestions regarding the placement of sockets and switches. Very pleased with the service and quality of work.

Highly recommended I’d use them again!

Very professional and prompt service. Pendant lights fitted exactly to our requirements without any issues. Thank you

Replacing mains powered smoke alarms. I was really pleased that the work was carried out efficiently and quickly. Friendly team! The Office Manager who took my call was friendly and responsive as was Shaun, who came out the next day to do the work. He phoned me beforehand to check that the replacement smoke alarms he recommended were what I had in mind. Arrived on time to do the work and left everything tidy. Highly recommend this company. I have used them before and will do so again.

Great job by Shaun and his sidekick, would definitely use them again.

Very happy with the service. Always professionals, tidy and quality on their products. Highly recommend them.👍

Can not say enough good things about Shaun and his team. All work carried out along with last minute additions requested. All done to highest standard, with minimum disruption and on time. Very friendly and excellent communication. Recommendations were made to make everything up to regulations, but not forced on to me. Trustworthy to the point they had a key and we didn't need to be there. Thanks!

Shaun did a brilliant job of providing the electrics for a whole new kitchen, with a new fuse-box and the supply chased into the wall for a new set of appliances, sockets and lighting. He quoted quickly, he kept in contact with us, he turned up when he said he would and solved all the problems that an old house's electrics could throw at him. Of all the contractors that have worked on this kitchen, Shaun has been the top - most professional, most reliable and good value.

Called Yorkshire electricians requesting a pat test as soon as possible They were very pleasant very helpful and professional.fitted me in straight away Thank you

Fantastic service, came very quickly, on time, did the job the next day. Very polite and friendly. We have added his contact details for future and will recommend to all family and friends. We found lots of electricians were not interested with it being a small job so thank you very much !!!!

Staff communicated with us every step. Very professional and they left the rooms they worked in spotless.

Absolutely first class service. Helpful, sympathetic, punctual, impossible to fault. This company goes above and beyond what you'd normally expect. would recommend 100%

I am really impressed with this business. Both Shaun (who did the quote) and Lee (who did the work) were polite, efficient, speedy and really knowledgeable. I will definitely use them again. I was also pleasantly surprised by the price as well. Definitely a business whose number will remain in my phone.

The guys at Yorkshire Electricians wired up one of our offices and storage units, fantastic service at a very reasonable price, couldn't reccommend highly enough.

Would certainly recommend to others. Shaun and Jack were friendly, professional, extremely punctional. Vacuumed and cleaned as they went. We are very pleased with their services.

Shaun and his team were brilliant throughout the several days they spent at our proprety doing some major and fiddly rewiring / electrical installation work. Professional and courteous at all times; would not hesitate to recommend.

Very prompt and efficient.

Shaun and Dave replaced all switches and sockets throughout the house. The quote for the job was acceptable. Both were courteous, clean, prompt with the appointed time and very neat workers. I have no hesitation in recommending them and I will certainly use them again as and when the time arises. The work carried out was first class.

Excellent service from Shaun and his team. They carried some required work at very short notice for me, and were professional and friendly throughout. I will be using them again, and would highly recommend them for any electrical work.

Yorkshire Electricians Ltd, and Shaun in particular have provided a very professional, informed and helpful service. They have delivered what they agreed to do, and in a timely fashion.

A very painless and efficient service. No mess, no fuss, adaptable and flexible... Nice guys very skilled at what they do. Would recommend these guys unquestionably...

Shaun worked cleanly and efficiently, he is polite and friendly whilst remaining professional. I would highly recommend

Very friendly, extremely professional, always on time, clear breakdown of pricings and clear communication throughout. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Great response from Shaun at Yorkshire Electricians, very friendly and quick to respond. The quote met expectations, once I accepted I was given an appointment in the same week. He arrived on time with everything required for the job. Old oven and hob swapped for new ones, and all installed within an hour. Great service, thanks!

Nice freindly staff great workmanship will use them again thankyou

Experienced an electrical issue at home and phoned up Shaun from Yorkshire Electricians for some help. He was very helpful in guiding me through what do on the other end of the phone until he could come out to fix the problem only a couple of days later! Very knowledgeable and would highly recommend!

Altogether delighted with the service I have received. Excellent! A massive thank you, Shaun and Malcolm!

Shaun installed four German electric radiators for us. Sounds simple but the key to this was the care and attention that Shaun took at the first step. When he came round to assess the job he really grasped the nature of the challenge: not just to fit the rads, but to do so in a way that made it look as though they really belonged in the room. His suggestions made sure that we ended up with a solution that sits really well with the 'industrial chic' style that our predecessors in the flat had established. Could not be happier with the work carried out.

Shaun did a complete rewire of my 1905 terraced house and right from the quote to finishing everything went really smoothly. Shaun's quote was brilliant and all itemised (unlike other quotes I've received before which go up and up throughout the work!), the team arrived as planned and worked exactly to spec and the quality is great. I'd recommend them for any job and will be using again should I need any further work doing. Well done.

I found Shaun through the Local Heroes website. His availability and price for the work I required was good, so I booked him straight away. He arrived within the allocated time-slot and quickly diagnosed and fixed my electrical problem. He was very pleasant and professional. I would definitely recommend him, and will call him for any future electrical jobs I want doing.

We have always been very pleased with the work that Shaun Williams has undertaken for us. Over the last 3 or 4 years he has replaced light fittings, installed extra sockets, relocated our cooker and most recently installed a new TV point. He gives written quotes for the work and is reliable.
