Totally satisfied with GSL This isn’t my first solar installation as my previous home was fitted with a system and that one was a poor experience. GSL on the other hand couldn’t have been more professional and I am extremely satisfied with the GSL Solar Installation process and end result. From the outset the quotation contact was straightforward, clear, concise and flexible. Follow up calls were helpful and not pushy. After deciding to go with GSL, the site survey visit was thorough and accommodating of my preferences. The surveyor was considerate and detailed, no doubt helping the installation which also went smoothly. The office support staff dealt with all the paper work and DNO application. Once the DNO approval was received, a date was set for the install and within a week the scaffolding was up, two days ahead of the system being installed. The fitting team installed the panels, inverter and battery in very poor weather conditions working hard until the job was completed, all within a day. The attention to detail and regulation compliance was particularly noticeable. A week after the install the office support followed up with a call and arranged for the scaffolding to be removed which was down a few days later. Communication throughout the process has been timely and helpful. Even a small change to the panel spec (540W instead to 535W) was followed up with new schematics delivered to my home in person. The paperwork pack (MSC documents, warranties, user guides etc) arrived when promised and I only await the DNO certificate for my export MPAN which is out of GSL hands. I thoroughly recommend GSL and would like to thank the whole team.

Can't complain at all and I had 8 panels and no battery (not enough evening electricity demand to justify) fitted very efficiently and quickly as part of a council subsidised offer. All subcontractors (scaffolders, fitters and electricians very good) except it took the scaffolders a week to come back and take it away again. They came the same day as I complained to the firm.

We can highly recommend Grant Store to any one that requires any of their services. We had a new heat pump and new radiators installed throughout our house. Staff were excellent from start to finish, work staff were very courteous and respectful of our property, they kept all their work areas extremely clean and tidy, workmanship was extremely high. Had no issues during our installation, everything ran smoothly throughout the job.

Hi. I had a first time central heating system installed on Friday 23rd 2026 by grant store ltd.and the team that came to install it are out of this world [ Martin.garry.and kiaa.] Talk about professional it was all completed in a day.they were very clean.so very friendly.they certainly know there job.kept me informed to what they were doing. Central heating guys were brilliant ventilation guys poor took my doors off to cut a 10mm gap at the bottom living room door back on gap is more like 2 inches and the door doesn't close properly any more and the holes cut in the kitchen &bathroom walls weren't sealed properly someone had to come back last week to seal them as they had been chiseled out and left gaps around the rubber seals but they're done now but I will have to get my door taken off and re hung and a piece put back on the bottom or a new door cut and hung correctly

Just to say two really nice chaps Tom and Dave that came to my home today were clean and tidy in there work and weren't in a rush to listen or a quick chat before leaving. Nice one lads.

Experience Before Installation What made you decide to look into solar energy in the first place? It was a combination of factors. We like to think of ourselves as environmentally conscious, & it had been in our minds for a while, but it is a big expense, & we weren’t confident in our abilities to assess installers for quality. But with rising electricity prices & thinking of investing in a second electric car, it made sense. When we got a leaflet through the door from the council, that made the decision for us. Did our team meet your expectations in terms of communication, professionalism, and timelines? The whole team have been fantastic. It’s a daunting process, with lots of unfamiliar technology, but they took the time to help us understand everything, so we could work out exactly what we needed.

Thank you all . I've never been eligible for anything free/grant before in my life. All insulation and plastering was done diligently and clean. Communication was great too. James was absolutely brilliant, the sign of a really good company is when they make a mistake, and then how they correct that mistake, grant store didn't get everything right ,along comes James and he never stopped till all was 100% right ,even communication with the office was so professional and very easy.from my solar panels, to my heating system grant store were simply brilliant. I would deafinatly recommend them if you want a good job doing well .the place to go for your heat pump ,heating and solar installations.

Kevin did an amazing job. He got the job done in roughly an hour. The netting looks good, he did repairs on the roof that we didn't realise were needed. Kevin gave us lods of useful information and we look forward to using his services in the future.

Brilliant experience with GSL. They are very responsive and easy to get hold of, whenever we had any issues they were able to sort it out quickly and without any fuss. Very happy with the work which was done to install the solar panels.

Workman don't give a crap. Shoddy work

Just had grantstore with an eco4 grant to install loft insulation, new combi boiler in different position and rad stats, controlled by a remote hive programmer. Only got Martin and garry's names ( plumbers ) sorry, but all the staff involved did an excellent job, the firm kept me informed about fitting dates and times, and they all turned up promptly. Everything was done neatly and no damage to decoration at all and cleaned up very well afterwards. All of the staff went out of their way to explain how everything works and kept their humour, despite my repeated questions!.The ideal boiler is working perfectly , I am very pleased with the whole experience . Definitely recommend. Colin

Very painful journey but got there in the end. Install date was moved, requested a call before installers came to make sure I was in but didn't get one. Full bill sent a few hours after issues were raised on a Friday evening with payment due the next day, Saturday (Never pay full until the full job is complete). Screws for the panels came through the side of the roof struts, wago clips used outside and told by installers it's fine, overflow pipe damaged, raised with isaac over email with photos who forgot some of the issues but after a lot of frustration eventually got him to fix things

We have just had a solar/battery installation completed by Grant Store Ltd through the Cheshire East & Warrington Solar Together scheme. Our overall experience has been extremely positive with excellent communications from the company by both emails and phone calls throughout the process. The survey was completed promptly and accurately and once approved by the Distribution Network Operator the installation was completed in around 4 weeks. The work was carried out over 2 separate days with both the roofing team and electrical installer being friendly and professional throughout. Frankly we were surprised by how quickly the work was completed and by how little disruption there was. The system has been in place for a week now and we are very pleased with its performance. We would have no hesitation in recommending Grant Store Ltd for this type of work based on our own experiences.

Grant store installed a full central heating system and insulation for us back in February this year. Our home is so much warmer. Cant say we are saving on energy bills as the rates are sky high but so grateful to be much warmer than we have been! :) One star nocked off because the floor boards were left badly damaged after the heating was installed,…. we had to get them done up afterwards. Other than that, service from start to finish was brilliant! Thank you so much.

Deane and his team at Grant Store did a great job of retro fitting the Eco4 system to our home. Deane kept informed throughout and no question we had was too much trouble to answer. All the trades were great, respectful, tidy in their work, and very efficient. We added extra solar panels and a battery which we paid for, which Deane sourced and his team fitted for us. I would highly recommend them.

Recently had my boiler upgraded to a newer more efficient model -due to the old one being on it's last legs. I couldn't be more happy with completed work, it was was very neat and tidy. The gas engineer was very concise and clear in explaining the basics of how to use the boiler i.e. adjusting the heat, pressure. I would definitely recommend Grant Store to anyone thinking of having their boiler upgraded.

Just had internal wall insulation fitted by Alex and Rick. Wonderful guys, tidy, friendly, excellent finish on the work and they went above and beyond for us. Highly recommend this company for its efficiency and top quality workers.

I had Alex & Simon at my house. Hands down, they are the best workmen EVER, by miles. They arrive on time, are polite, super clean & tidy in their work & cleaning up afterwards. Spectacularly good work was carried out by them both. They clearly take pride in the quality of work they do & their cleanliness in people’s homes, which is sadly lacking for most trade's people today who just don’t care how shoddy their work is or have no respect for people’s property. If only everyone worked to the very high standards of Alex & Simon. Big pats on the back & gold stars for them, it was a pleasure having them working in my home. 👏⭐️

Garry and Martin came to fit all my central heating this week every body has been absolutely brilliant care and respect all staff came to my property on time told me exactly wat was going to happen on the days they were hear had wall insulation by GSL and had Craig and Danny brilliant lads all have been so good thankyou

Abysmal customer service.

GSL is OK with installation. Those are done by professionals HOWEVER interacting with the office is a pain. Be aware of the extortionate addons to the quotes and unreasonable pricing for repairs/alterations. I was quoted £720 for effectively 1hr job and threatened with loss of warranty if I dare to use cheaper contractor for a fix... Job wasn't even that difficult...

What a great company to bring in to your home.arrived on time,was told what was to be done with the boiler. And after that the job was carried out with out fuss/mess. Acouple of great fitters, and very friendly office staff. All followed off by anice friendly inspection by a senior member of grant store. Will highly recommend this company for any work you need doing from the office staff upto the inspector who calls invited within 24hours. Many thanks.

Good lads who do the fitting but everyone be very careful with the contribution charges the office adds on. I paid £270 after originally being quoted £80 due to so called extra materials needed. When the lads finished and the extra materials were not used or needed I have contacted the office over 20 occasions now and Jordan and a female staff member just fob me off with promises of getting back to me.

The two surveyor's who came out were very professional and personal, we had a laugh about one being a Wigan warriors fan and we're Rhinos fans lol. Then Rob who came out to fit the boiler again very professional and personal, very tidy workmanship. Can't thank your company enough, new boiler fitted in less than a week and easy to deal with.

The fitters arrived spot on time and both worked hard informing us exactly what they were going to do,Rob+Paddy were very professional and were good reflection for grant store. boiler installation was great but let down by not having a electrition on same day

New boiler was fully installed and new hive smart meter within 10 days of initial phone call All workmen were professional, polite and friendly and worked to a high standard Company itself kept me fully informed of appointments/progress at all stages Great service No hesitation to recommend!

Be very wary of this company before getting any work done, they are unreliable, dishonest and unprofessional and I would stay clear. I am extremely disappointed with the level of service received. Their promise you one thing and then end up doing something else. We have contacted them several times to resolve some issues, however they don’t appear bothered and seem to fob us off. Their customer after care is practically non-existent.

Sämsta jag varit med om. Mailat flertalet ggr och inget svar. Först när hot om ARN skickades hände något och trots det dröjde det ytterligare 2 veckor förens jag ens fick något i brevlådan. Totalt tog det över 6 veckor att erhålla något som de lovade skulle ta 1-3 dagar...bluff

I could not fault any of the workmen who came. They were there when they said, did the work efficiently and cleaned everywhere up after them. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

If your not on benefits don't bother calling them as you can't even pay them come and improve your home. Speachless! Unbelievable!

Had insulation and central heating fitted. Some work was poorly done still waiting to have floor boards sorted. Electrician came to fit the hive but would need to come back as needed two electricians. Came back but sent electrician and plumber so work again could not be completed. Not happy needs better communication of what is needed. Made a complaint but waiting of a reply and work still needs completing. Wasted my time of waiting in not happy at all.

I recognise good service when I receive it. Despite there being a fault in my Home EV Charger which was down to the manufacturer, Grant Store (GSL) never gave up at finding a resolution, even to the point of offering an alternative brand to suit my requirements. Communication was good from Jay, Neil and Steve. Steve came out at the earliest opportunity to re-check the installation. I don't expect e-mails to be answered outside of office-hours but GSL's customer service goes above and beyond. When the manufacturer eventually sent the part, Steve offered to fit on a Saturday. Another couple of days didn't make much difference to me and the charger was up and running on the Monday... after Storm Dennis had passed! I wholeheartedly recommend these guys to take care of your EV charging requirements. Mike

Fantastic service from first contact to fitting. Call centre staff very informative, 1 simple form to complete then sign online. 1 week later boiler fitted. Surveyor and gas fitters very professional and everything cleaned up afterwards. Thanks.

Hopefully get my new boiler in the next week
