Efficient and friendly solar installation

Knowledgeable, efficient and very tidy. Not often you get all three plus the install team were friendly and polite. Would definitely recommend Priory.

Priory Electrical installed my Sigenergy solar PV system, battery storage, gateway and EV charger, and overall I'm very happy with the quality of the installation. The workmanship is excellent, everything has been installed neatly, and the system has worked flawlessly since day one without any issues. My only criticism is the communication before the installation. There was some confusion over the location of the underground duct, which resulted in it being dug in the wrong place. Unfortunately, this meant a longer than necessary cable run along the side of the house, which isn't as tidy as it could have been. I also tried to speak with Kevin on two occasions to discuss the duct location before the installation, but unfortunately never received a call back. Despite that, the installation team did a great job, the finished system performs exactly as expected, and the overall standard of workmanship is excellent. If communication before the install was improved, this would easily have been a 5-star experience. I'd still happily recommend Priory Electrical to anyone looking for a quality solar installation.

We had some sockets removed and a new one installed. Having accepted the quote, we were booked in within 48 hours. The lads were polite, clean working and did an excellent job. We could not have asked for more and would have no hesitation in recommending Priory.

Had solar panels and a battery system installed to an existing set of panels. The team arrived and completed the work in one day with everything working as advertised and the team talked me through the new battery app. There was a small issue however things happen and you should judge the company by the way they handle the issue ( a broken slab( nothing to do with the solar system)). At 6/30 the next morning I get an email from the owner explaining how he was going to resolve it, later that same day one of his team arrived with a new slab and fixed it. You cannot ask for better than that and makes a welcome change to some service you get from some companies. I have to say a massive thank you to all the team at priory and would whole heartily recommend this company for any electrical / solar work you want done.

Very professional job from start to finish. We were kept well informed by phone and emails at all stages of the installation. All the craftsmen and office staff were extremely polite, friendly and prompt. No mess, every thing was cleaned and rubbish removed. Great price, fast installation and good after sales service.

Had these folks for a electrical check and replacement lights. Two lads who came so professional and tidy. On quick inspection we were informed that a full check was not necessery which saved us a lot of money but we visited their office afterwards to purchase 2 smoke and 1 heat alarm. Brilliant service and receptionist were lovely. Great company.

Just had a solar and battery system fitted from Priory. 24 panels and 20kw sigenergy system. Scaffolding was up less than a week, we were booked in for 2 days installation but weather was great and the team cracked on and got it all done in a day. All the lads were extremely polite and hard working. Will definitely use them again for any additional work 👍

Kev and his team provided a seamless service from start to finish. 12 solar panels and a givenergy 9.5kw battery all installed in a day. Kevin and the team installed a 19 panel solar system with a Tesla battery for me in a day and a half - even with terrible weather conditions. From starting with Graeme to understand what I needed and organise a quote to the system being switched on, I am unable to fault anything. The literal army of guys were organised, methodical, organised and tidy. Totally spot on!

Priory have just installed a solar energy system for us with inverter, battery and smartphone app. Whole process very professional with lots of information and help from the start. Installation was all done in a day with a team of four. Generating power from day one. Used Priory because they had done electrical work for us before, they're a local firm and we trust them. Kev and his employees at Priory did a brilliant job of installing our solar system. From the initial appointment to discuss the job, through to the installation being completed was around two weeks. Secretary who answered the phone was unbearably lazy as would not take a message for her boss to call us back. So disappointing to have poor staff that hinders a business from prospering

I needed help with a minor problem with an external security light. Even though this is their busiest time of the year they attended within 24 hours, did the job and never asked for payment. Would recommend to anyone.

Had my meter moved to an outside box and cannot fault the service from Priory. On the day of the move, had a few issues from the other contractors and Priory came straight out to fix, going above and beyond! Brilliant service and very friendly with excellent communication, would not hesitate to use again!

Had an electrical issue with the lights in the garage which were tripping the fuses. Rang Priory at 9am and by 11am I had a team of three very professional and friendly electricians turn up. They identified issues with the old wiring, sorted the lights and even added somethings for me at the drop of a hat! They also tidied up after themselves so it was if they weren’t even there. The bill came in the post a few days later and was very reasonable for the work that got done! I’d give them 6 stars if I could! Definitely adding them to the list of tradesmen to keep at hand.

I have used Priory Electrical over 10 times and each and every time the job has been done in a professional and courteous manner. The staff are always on time, nothing is too much trouble and the place always left as tidy as I have ever seen any tradespeople leave it. Drilling ceilings with pots to catch plaster, dust sheets everywhere and rubbish taken with them! Outstanding every time.

I can’t thank Priory Electric enough. We were flying to Ecuador in a week and our Lightwave lights broke Wednesday night. . Desperate I rang and spoke to Caitlin who immediately arranged for Alex to come over that day to have a look. He diagnosed and we came up with a plan. Following Monday fitted new relays hub and switches. Even came back Tuesday to iron out a last little fault. We fly tomorrow. House sitter is in. Lights are working. Amazing. Caitlin and Alex and Priory have really saved me from having a heart attack. They made a highly stressful experience a lot less so.

We've had Priory Electrical NE Ltd. round twice since we bought our house, first time to replace the circuit board with a modern system, clear up a lot of miscellaneous redundant wires, and fit a few extra plug sockets, second time to move some light switches and clear a few additional wires that had come to light during other renovation work. Both times they were available quickly and did a great job. We'll absolutely come to them again if we need any electrical work done around the house.

I was impressed by the service. The quotes were reasonable, communication good and work carried out promptly and professionally.
