Do not use this company. All what work what they did was done incorrecly and everything what they touched was damaged. They not trying to fix all damage they have done they just trying ignore me and not even aswer a phone. The work was been going now 5 mounths and there is still no eng in sigth.

Nick and Jim came to do my cavity wall insulation. There was a mixup in the office with the time and they arrived when I had to go out. You couldn't meet two nicer guys and I felt comfortable leaving them in my home. . All was clean and tidy when I got home.

We had a great experience with Carbon Rewind when one of our properties was undergoing insulation upgrades. The team successfully carried out external wall insulation, loft insulation, cavity wall insulation, heat pump installation, and solar panel installation, which improved the EPC rating from D to A. Communication from the team was excellent throughout the project. Chardae in particular kept us informed of the progress in a timely and professional manner. I would highly recommend Carbon Rewind to anyone looking for heating and insulation upgrades.

Absolutely shocking from start to finish. Failed to turn up for multiple appointments for the install, it was eventually rushed through by one worker who was going on holiday the next day. Result? Multiple broken slates, slates not fastened onto the roof, gaps between slates and multiple leaks. Contacted them and they were'nt interested. Beware Carbon Rewind in Cornwall.

I had the absolute pleasure of having Kelsey come to my house and fit three electric extractor fans and ducting through the loft to the outside she did a great job very polite and very knowledgeable with her trade and just fantastic at her job very tidy very pleasant and very happy with what I had done very hard-working. Been waiting since June for a fix to my leaking roof from a poor install of solar panels still not resolved.

Four years on and the mold has spread. I have spoke to the management and no one is taking responsibility. Ben Miller the man who took the Grant and disappeared.

I can not praise the service I have received from Carbon Rewind enough. They have been excellent from start to finish. The installation by the electrician Liam was excellent he was very respectfull and cleaned up behind himself. The new storage heaters are brilliant I am very happy with them.

Yesterday we had Liam from Carbon Rewind to replace our extractor fans. He was very polite and patient and worked so hard on our solid 1930s bricks which are notoriously difficult to drill into. Liam stayed until the job was completed and made sure he tidied up after himself. He explained everything as he went along and taught us how to operate the new switches. He was so professional and pleasant to have in the home, we were really impressed with Liam. Well done Liam!

I had a combi boiler fitted, had loft insulation. Frankie and Danny worked really hard and I think they did 2 days work in One day. They were very helpful, polite and respectful and nothing was too much for them. Holly who helped set up the all the visits was excellent and I cant thank her enough. In fact, all staff were lovely. 😀

I wish I could give a higher rate ,but since January 2024 ,I have been ringing and emailing for proof of ownership . I'm at the moment asking if someone could come and repair the leaky window vents ,that my window cleaner informed me they are leaking water in to the living room. The eco4 scheme is ment to improve your home .well I can say it has not for my elderly mother. I have been informed today I should of received my MCS certificate after 10 day of insulation so I can register with my electricity provider . That was a year and two months now and nothing . About 3 weeks ago I was shown that the night storage heater have not been programmed properly. My elderly mother electricity bill is going up and up and up . I wish I had done a bit more homework on other companies that install eco4 in my area . My neighbours have just had the same done to there house without any problems not by carbon rewind . If carbon rewind read this I say you have let a very disabled lady down .

Carbon Rewind sent unqualified electricians to install several storage heaters. The job was rushed and when the electricians left, the heaters didn't work as they'd been wired up incorrectly. We had to call them back and explain the instructions to them as they were fairly clueless. Ultimately, one heater had to be replaced due to a further wiring error that destroyed the heater and nearly resulted in a fire. This work was carried out under a grant scheme. Since placing this review, I've been able to discover that Carbon Rewind was paid around £6,000 just for carrying out the heater installation. This for one day by two unqualified electricians. They were paid a further £1,000 for 30 minutes work to install a fan which was done on the same day and subsequently redone to fix the issues. Carbon Rewind provided me with a £25 Amazon gift voucher in the hope I'd agree to remove this review. Added 4th April 2025: More than a year after these cowboy's installed storage heaters in our home, we're still having problems with another heater failing due to the poor installation. Now, all but one of the heaters have failed, two of the heaters nearly catching fire when they failed. If you're considering allowing these idiots in your home, think again! The amount of stress this company has caused me is just untenable.

Overall good experience but more recently we had problems with the settings after a control panel replacement but fraser came round at the weekend when not even working to fix it. A very polite and professional person he was in and out in 10 mins having fixed our issue and explaining the functions well.

Had Dale & Ron call and install loft insulation yesterday. An asset to the company. Respected the house insuring protective covers were laid in walkways, was kept informed on how the job was going and went above and beyond to replace and fit boards in loft. Upon completion I was shown all work completed and they hoovered up afterwards as well. Well done guys!

Follow up visit for additional install. Ellis Carter was punctual, professional, pleasant and completed the job. Thank you. Now waiting to hear about replacing a faulty battery still under warranty. It’s taken months to work out what the problem is. Now trying to set a date for the replacement. Still waiting to hear.

We had an excellent experience with Carbon Rewind, thanks to the amazing solar panel installation engineers Liam and Lee. From start to finish, they were incredibly polite, professional, and a pleasure to have on-site. Their workmanship was top-notch, with great attention to detail and quality. Liam and Lee were not only highly skilled but also very knowledgeable and helpful, answering all our questions and explaining everything clearly. They went above and beyond to ensure the installation was completed to the highest standard. Thank you, Liam and Lee, for making this such a smooth and positive experience! The communication from Carbon Rewind head office could have been better, with letting me know when everything was arriving such as scaffolding and equipment but otherwise very good experience. EDIT - Engineers are brilliant, but correspondence from Carbon Rewind is almost non-existant. No answer on phones, or emails. We were only told our installation date, no dates or time for scaffold erection/taking down, no delivery dates or time of equipment.

UPDATE: We have been forced to downgrade our original review from 5 stars to just 2. We had a problem with water ingress immediately on completion, even before the installers had left. It was just a slow drip to begin with, leaking in underneath our EWI into the foot of our front lobby wall, next to our front door, leaving a large puddle across our house's entrance. It then began dripping in from the light fitting above the front door, though the EWI not the outer surface. We were ignored or fobbed off for months but eventually they sent someone around who determined we needed scaffold, it was erected in days. A young man came around, checked the roof and said it wasn't the house roof. Then he climbed up on our new lobby PVC roof and ripped away the lead seal embedded in our newly rendered wall, with no care or warning, I watched him do it, I was surprised and shocked, as it had taken their own installers a full day to complete. After doing this act of VANDALISM he progressed to determine that that was not where the leak was coming from either. He then put back the lead seal with white mastic window seal and unevenly, off centre, so now it didn't even reach the end of one side. Our front lobby leaks are now literally 10 times worse, water pours in all across and the space has become unusable in heavy rain, Christmas pretty much ruined. I complained about this months prior to Christmas, Syed the project manager EVENTUALLY said that they would sort it out as a gesture of GOODWILL! Then, just prior to Christmas Syed eventually said that they would do nothing and denied that Carbon Rewind was responsible for any of it. I had provided before and after pictures, videos of drips and leaks but they have now cut us off and left us high and dry, except obviously thoroughly drenched. They deny all responsibility for any water leaks. Now a small crack is developing on the corner above the leak that is coming in from behind the EWI!! The after sales service is terrible. I will leave the original review below but downgrade them overall to 2 stars as they will take their money and run, you have been warned. Carbon Rewind are brilliant, all the staff are so polite, happy, and friendly. The installlers were very carefull around our property and thoroughly cleaned up any mess that was made. The work was of a very high standard. We had Ram and Miri most of the time who intalled EWI for us. We couldn't have wished for a better installer, Ram was excellent, so polite and always smiling, despite the constant rain, which made the job very difficult for all the people working outside. Now our house is warmer for longer, dryer too and It looks so much better. We'd also like to thank all of the other staff at Carbon Rewind. Peter the regional operations manager, the lady who came to take away the refuse were both brilliant as was the amazing Olivia in the office. Martin the plasterer and his assistant both did a great job on insulating our extension ceiling. Also Ty who popped in to finish off some extenal wiring. Thanks everyone at Carbon Rewind.

Carbon Rewind came to my home for an insulation project, and they were supposed to reinstall everything they removed during the process, including my CCTV system, and fix my gate and fence to their original condition. Unfortunately, my experience has been completely unprofessional. Despite providing my availability multiple times and taking days off to accommodate their schedule, they repeatedly missed appointments without notice. When they did show up, the work was subpar – they left my gate unsecured, installed lumpy loft insulation, when they took the CCTV down, they cut the wires destroying the CCTV. They said they would fix it. Despite raising these issues multiple times, Carbon Rewind has failed to complete the necessary repairs or communicate effectively. Their disorganization, lack of expertise, and unprofessional behavior have been beyond frustrating. I’ll be escalating this complaint and reporting them to the council to prevent others from going through a similar ordeal. If you’re looking for a reliable and professional service, I strongly advise against using Carbon Rewind.

Was seen by Ram and Tony. Wall insulation in my flat, which required various different jobs. Very polite and professional. Careful with my belongings when working and answered any questions in a patient and friendly manner, always keeping me updated. The work carried out by Carbon Rewind was extremely high regarding the installation of our new storage heaters, John White, the engineer that carried out the installation, was above and beyond what we expected even after finding a fault that had nothing to do with the installation, highly recommend Carbon Rewind for the installation, fantastic service.

Workman spoilt the bathroom by drilling in the wrong place for the extractor. They did not check for linten. Safety structure.. Tiles were broken without checking if it was the correct place. They warranty their work for 2 years. My extractor fan was installed in October 2022. Now it is not shutting. It continuously runs day and night. I have had to turn off the main switch.. I contacted Carbon rewind they said they will charge £160 to have it looked even though it is under the two year warranty period. They had damaged my tiles , tub, toilet seat. So many handymen came and went . Maybe the manager can contact me. I have sent emails to Liz. Tom fitted the extractor.

Avoid at all cost. Unprofessional builders, professional scammers. This company has ruined my home, three years now and still waiting for them to correctify their mistakes. Trading Standards will be notified.

Owen and Harvey did an excellent job of installing solar panels and electrics for the panels and the air source heat pump.

Most unpleasant experience. Wonderful if you have no issues. However, if you do then you'd find them dishonest operaters with ZERO customer service. They installed my solar panel system but once payments were made they have ignored every attempt to get any reply to questions / issues or attend to unsatisfactory work. No one takes responsibility should you get to speak to them, often phones go unattended or they drop the line. They always have a list of excuses. Bunch of cowboys - I can't understand why Watford Council made contract with them. Stay away form Carbon rewind, there are many other customer friendly suppliers.

Very professional guys, had an issue with previously installed underfloor insulation which was thoroughly investigated and snagging works were carried out very efficiently. Highly recommend Carbon Rewind

My journey had been a long and arduous one before Carbon Rewind got involved and it wasn't plain sailing then, but they sent the crack team in Ram & Tony to install my room in roof insulation (& trickle vents). They were courteous, very hard working and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. Satisfied? I was delighted! Austin then fitted my Mdev vents, night storage and panel heaters. It wasn't a straight forward install, but he was also courteous and conscious of making sure I was happy. This work has been life changing for me and I am very grateful.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. Had an assessor visit early March 2024, after waiting quite a long time. EPC and assessment done and told I would receive the EPC and it would be uploaded within two weeks to the EPC register. Over two months and several emails later, it still has not been done, despite numerous requests via email. I was also told the only thing I was eligible for was loft insulation. Not heard another word from them about this. I informed them my property is freezing cold, drafts are coming in through the windows, I cannot afford heating, but due to ill-health I do sometimes have to put it on to stop myself from dying. Even with as little use as possible my energy bill is sky high and I have no way of paying this. ECO4 Government funded scheme, this company must be raking it in from taxpayers money, but the people it is intended to help are not receiving it. Wrong on every level.

Lewis and Will have put loft insulation and trickle vents in my property this morning. They were pleasant and friendly, got on with the job, and tidied up afterwards. They pointed out a possible issue, but rang their company to discuss and then suggested the best solution . I am pleased with them and would recommend them.

EXCELLENT SERVICE: The installers were clean and quick. It has a two year guarantee- after the two years, for the first time, someone went into one of the lofts and informed us it was not insulated properly. The others were insulated well. Even though the warranty had ceased, they still came quickly to sort their error.

Ram and Miri exhibit the very best of professionalism and exceptional workmanship. Thanks to both for their punctuality, politeness and can do work ethic. Real attention to detail and quality of works adhered to constantly. Really impressed at how hard they worked, something you don’t see all the time. Jon & Mike have just completed a most professional job installing insulation and vents. They were courteous and polite, fast and efficient, a joy to have working on our house.

Contacted Carbon Rewind to get a quote for an ASHP installation. Initially told that I’m not eligible for the boiler upgrade scheme (which is not the case) because we are at an electric only property. After getting past this confusion, the initial survey was booked. Over a month has passed since the survey took place - I have emailed and called, told someone will get back to me but have received no communication from anyone. If such poor communication is happening at initial stages, I’m not sure how I feel about trusting them with an installation :-)

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. You have been warned. There are other companies out there running on the ECO4 scheme, use them instead. Here's an overview of the issues we've encountered: Initially, we reached an agreement with the surveyor regarding the placement of the heat pump and water cylinder. However, on the first day of installation, the engineer informed us that these items couldn't fit as planned. Consequently, we lost our larder space and had to demolish a wall to access our fridge. Despite assurances from their customer service department, we never received promised callbacks. There was a lack of communication regarding the work schedule, leading to wasted days waiting for absent engineers. Moreover, the installation included copper piping incompatible with our UPVC piping in the new bathroom. The suggestion to remove the bathroom entirely was met with our strong disagreement. Subsequently, we endured a week without a bathroom while we hired a plumber to rectify their errors, at our own expense. Additionally, the heat pump consistently leaks, and the radiators arrived damaged, among other numerous issues. I’ll add a picture of the radiator installation, would you be happy with this? Not even central….and the state of the air source heat pump leak fix….

Great installation of heat pump. Install was completed as planned within the time estimated. All the installers tidied up after completing various tasks. And all packaging rubbish was cleared. Very happy with the entire team who attended.

I don’t usually write reviews but thought I would for Carbon Rewind. They installed my solar PV system in March 23 and a few weeks ago (10 months later) the battery stopped working. I called them and they responded instantly - arranging for an electrician to come around and fix the issue. Really great response - especially when you hear so many horror stories relating to some of the firms that install these systems.

We had solar panels fitted by Carbon Rewind and their customer service has been second to none. We have had a few technical issues with the battery since the installation and an engineer has been out to our house within a day and fixed it. Everyone we have dealt with have been so lovely and accommodating. A lovely company to work with.

Ram and Callum completed a job on behalf of carbon rewind. They were professional, polite and have done an absolutely amazing job. I highly recommend both Callum and Ram. The room looks fantastic now and our house is noticeably warmer. Callum & Ram left the whole area spotless

Fantastic job completed by the two men today and in very cold snowy weather. They worked right through (didn’t even stop for lunch or warm up) to get the job completed in the time they were allocated despite the problems that occurred during the job. There was no doubt what company they were with as they both had the logo showing. They were polite, considerate of me working at home and tidied up afterwards. Would happily have them back to work again.

Awful quality, work not carried out to regulations, and complaints ignored for 4 months.

The whole process was seamless a special mention to Owen Shannon who went over and above with installation. Despite the difficulty the conduit was placed invisibly the app handover was well explained. Will Stremes promptly arrived and roofing/panel placement carried out quickly and efficiently. 5 star service from them both!!

Lucian worked really hard to upgrade my boiler and heating system. He was very polite and helpful as well as obviously knowing what he was doing. Very pleased with the work.

I thoroughly recommend Carbon Rewind. Due to an obsolete back boiler and not having central heating for 4 years. I applied for the EC04 scheme. I was especially impressed with the installers. Ellis Cormack for installing a new boiler system and the new pipework etc. Extremely kind demeanour, a helpful manner, and very polite. Ellis answered any questions I had. Wasn't a simple job of just upgrading a boiler, a big job but did it thoroughly, efficiently and overcame any obstacles. Total star! So appreciative. Genti who installed my much needed extractor fan was very helpful, gracious and had such a kind manner and was very positive. An accomodating, quick and efficient service. Nothing was too much trouble! The scaffolding team and loft installation team were very helpful, quick and efficient too and on point. The team at Carbon Rewind were always on the end of the phone or email for any questions I had. From the delivery of the goods to the installation was a positive experience. Thank you, Carbon Rewind. I can have a cosy winter at long last!

Today I was greatly impressed by the timeliness and professionalism of Genti from Carbon Rewind. He called me to confirm his appointment & estimated time of arrival. He arrived on time and despite having traveled from London to the South West, he was cheerful, polite and worked hard going above and beyond to complete the job. Carbon Rewind have also been extremely helpful, ensuring all work needed has been done to a good standard and giving me peace of mind where I’ve expressed concerns. Carbon Rewind were the administrators for a grant that my mother received to install solar panels on her home. This grant was to help reduce my mother’s carbon footprint and reduce her energy costs. I cannot fault their communications throughout the process. We were always kept up to date at every step and notified us of any date changes well in advance. The staff were always very polite and knew their product offering which helped with any questions we had. Even after the install we have several follow up phone calls and emails to check all was ok. They also ensured all documents were received and were up to date with signatures etc. The initial home survey was also great with the surveyer being very patient with my elderly mother. Based on our own experience I cannot find fault. Antony Martin from Carbon Rewind called 3 months after install to check all was ok and if their were any learning opportunities for them which was unexpected but very much appreciated. Thank you!!

The guys from Carbon Rewind have just finished installing a new central heating system and air source heat pump in our 2 bed bungalow. Vic and Gelu worked really hard for 4 days and were very tidy and professional. They were also very polite and considerate whilst working in our house. Thanks very much guys. The only reason for not getting full marks is due to the, albeit fairly minor, delay in the materials being delivered in a timely fashion. Shout out to Lurie the electrician as well, who went above and beyond to make sure every thing was ready for commissioning on the last day. We are now looking forward to being warm and toasty this winter.

Ian Hazel is a brilliant electrician. He did a fabulous job of sourcing and installing ultra quiet fans for my home. I have ASD & sensory processing disorder. Despite a hiccup when the first engineer came we then had Lucian come to our property to fit the new boiler. He was fantastic, really nice guy, very clear when explaining the finished job. Would recommend applying as it’s well worth it if your eligible.

This company has been absolutely brilliant, from the date of the first email and right through to the final installation and telephone calls. My home consisted of an old warm air heater, which didn’t vent into all bedrooms, and an immersion heater to heat water, all expensive to run, and in this day and age, was outdated and definitely not carbon friendly. My first contact from Carbon Rewind was from Paulina in the office, who emailed with a date for the surveyor (Ibrahim), to arrange a visit to my property to carry out the survey, this was done within the first few weeks, not long after a date was agreed to commence the installation. During the survey it was decreed that I needed to increase my loft insulation, that’s when I met Dennis Turner from Carbon Rewind, he arrived on the 6th August to do the work, which was completed within 2 and a 1/2 hours. He was really friendly and worked under very hot conditions, and did a fantastic job. On the 9th August, I had a delivery of a new Boiler and 11 Radiators from a company called ‘ABTAP’ based in Watford, who supply on behalf of Carbon Rewind, the driver Martyn was brilliant and ensured everything was stored safely in my home ready for the installation to commence. Confirmation was received from Carbon Rewind, that the installation would commence on the 14th August, and sure enough Gelu Viziru the engineer arrived to start the work, again Gelu was fantastic, he ensured that every part of the installation was to our satisfaction regarding location of radiators and pipe work, and where carpets and flooring needed lifting, he made good and replaced everything as he found it. He spent over a week with us, working hard and doing a brilliant job, and on completion of the work, we felt sad to see him go, as so used to seeing him daily. Then it was the turn of Mick and Dale (Chip & Dale) from Carbon Rewind to arrive on the 22nd August to install Trickle Vents to the windows, again, from the time of arrival to fitting a total of 13 vents throughout the house, they worked tirelessly and was done in just over an hour, just enough time to drink the coffee I made them, very friendly, tidy and jovial. Finally it was the turn of Ian Hazell an electrician from Carbon Rewind who came to install an extractor fan in our bathroom on the 29th August. This involved entering the loft space to install the vent pipe through to the roof soffit, all expertly fitted. In addition he also fitted an RCD spur for the boiler, and Earth bonded the Gas pipe. Yet again another friendly, tidy, jovial person. As you can see, I cannot express my absolute gratitude to Carbon Rewind, everyone from their company who had dealings with me were all brilliant, I am thrilled with all the work they have done for me, and know that they will only be a phone call away, if I ever need their assistance in the future. To everyone at Carbon Rewind - THANK YOU SO MUCH 😊

Had Gerul here today to install thermostat and by pass radiator. This is the fourth contractor to install something as part of the Eco 4 programme and like all the others was extremely polite, helpful and knowledgeable. Work was completed in a very timely and professional manner . A credit to Carbon Rewind.

The installers, on the whole, were brilliant. But the company, was let down, by the 2 unsuitable electrical subcontractors, who could not find it in themselves, to treat me with respect -- or behave, as guests should. As a Management Consultant, and high-level advisor, to 12 governments, I wasn't going to let them, get away, with it -- nor with failing to finish, their part of the install. CARBON REWIND's Management, was very appreciative, and did their best, to complete the installation, properly. They sent good people; and after prodding, produced the manuals, that should have been supplied, at an earlier stage. I can recommend them, if they have got rid of the 2 rude and unconscionable sub-contractors, who behaved disgracefully. CARBO REWIND Management, is very good, at rectifying faults, and dealing with complaints. Recommended: 4 stars.

Carbon Rewind Installed in my property solar PV system, and now I’m facing problem with the inverter, not showing on the solis cloud app. I did contact the company via email, but no response. Then I called the Company. One of the colleague told me that she will pass this message forward to the electrical department. After a few days, I got an email from the electrical department arranging an appointment for me. The appointment was on Wednesday 23/08/2023 at 10:30am. I took day off from work so I could stay home. On the day, the electrician did not show up. I rang the company to find out, and then after a while the electrician called me saying he was stuck in the traffic and he will be at the property in 20 minutes. After that, the electrician rang me again later and told me he got Covid I cannot come to the property. This is not the first time they let me down. It's since beginning... the same had happened before... On the day of scaffolding appointment ( took day off for the scaffolding installation)they didn't turn up either and came the next day.After that the solar panel guy came on the property in the morning to Install after looking on the property he just went away and it came back in the evening. That was another waste of my holiday. Carbon Rewind promise a lot, but do not deliver. I am still waiting for my solar system inverter to be fixed and now been more than 10 days. Today 01/09/2023 at 10.09am the electrician came and fix the inverter The electrician was friendly and professional. Thank you Carbon Rewind to send electrician out for fixing the problem. Thanks.

I have had my home insulated and a new boiler installed - July 2023. John completed the beading insulation of the cavity walls and loft insulation, he was super professional and tidy when doing the work - a super professional job. Vic completed the installation of a new combi boiler. He diligently changed much of the plumbing needed and went over and above to minimise the time that I was without hot water - Vic is a super professional and knowledgeable heating engineer. Overall John and Vic provided a superb 5 star service and are a credit to Carbon Rewind.

Carbon Rewind offers Good Quality and professional customer experience I was recently granted Government funding for Solar Panels through Warmer Homes. I was allocated an installer whom I was not happy with and the Warmer Homes Project Team then reallocated another installer to do the project - Carbon Rewind. Oyin from Carbon Rewind contacted me on 16th May by phone and followed up with an email explaining the process from survey to installation. On 14th June Lioz arrived at the specified time to conduct the survey and explained what would be happening. He was very informative, pleasant professional and made me feel very confident in him. Colm contacted me on 23rd June to inform me of the installation date which would be 27th June and informed me that the panels would arrive a day before, which they did. Levi and his team arrived on 27th June at 8am (very impressed) and commended to install the panels. They were very pleasant and professional and worked very hard to complete the installation leaving the property clean and tidy. There was a slight problem with the location of the panels which was quickly sorted but meant that the electrical installation would have to be rescheduled. On 4th July Ian Hazell the electrician, arrived at 9am to commence the installation. Ian was very pleasant, professional and a very nice person who made me feel very comfortable and involved in the installation by communicating the progress at each stage. I had complete confidence in him and the installation was completed very quickly and everything was left in a clean and tidy manner. Solar Panel installation is such a new venture and not every installer is fully capable of a good quality and professional job. It was very refreshing to deal with a company whom I felt were very professional in every aspect of the installation from start to completion and hand over. I have now received all documentation, Insurance, certificates etc. excellent customer service and I would have no hesitation in recommending Carbon Rewind. This is the first time I can write a review and confirm that it was a pleasure to deal with all the people mentioned, well done team and thank you all.

Had a visit from Owen Shannon (electrician) today who came to clear up somebody else’s previous mistake. While he was here he spotted some loose cables from our solar panels so decided to rectify that problem, only to find one of the cables had a ‘nick’ in the outer rubber so he then spliced in a new piece of cable to make sure it was not a problem in the future. Swift, polite and excellent work. Why aren’t more tradespeople like this? Highly recommended.

Carbon Rewind did a good job in installing a battery storage system to my existing Solar panel system. There was a problem making the Generation meter work correctly, but a second visit by Ian Hazell their installation electrician soon had everything working properly. It is now working very well generating loads of energy and storing extra energy in the battery for evening / nightime use.

Dave, Chuck and Tony installed our solar panels; they work really well together as a team. Their attitude, thoughtfulness and quality of their work was excellent at all times. Doug did a superb job on our ‘room in roof’ and loft lagging. The quality of his work was excellent particularly since the room he was insulating was a very complex shape. Inviting workmen into your home is always rather daunting but every one of Caron Rewind’s workers were a pleasure to have around and inspired confidence with their skill, care and attention to detail including clearing up beautifully after themselves. We have no hesitation in highly recommending them.

Carbon Rewind were a very slick and well oiled machine, from initial contact, survey and installation. I could not fault any aspect of the service they provided. The day before installation the scaffolding was erected, then the following day the materials, followed by the installers, Chuck & Tony (roofers) and David the electrician. They worked really hard and efficiently as a team, managing to run all cables within the fabric of the building, leaving no decorating nightmares for me to clear up, and no trunking. After a days hard work they found time to explain the operation of the system and got the app installed and working on our phone so we could witness the fruits of there labour. Great experience from all at Carbon Rewind for my Solar Together installation. With an awkward site giving problems to fit the most efficient system the design team continued to find solutions until we reached the best result. Timing was all as promised with scaffolding, equipment and crew all on site as agreed. Scaffolding went up quickly, again working on a difficult site. The installation crew were quick and efficient, quickly working around the obstacles of the site. Dave, Chuck and Tony were friendly, polite and good humoured and produced neat and tidy work. Everything was monitored with photographs and checked with me at every stage. Dave explained all the equipment to me and set up the app. I am really pleased that everything went so well.

My only contact with the the scaffolders and driver who delivered my job materials was by phone but their communication was good. The panel fitters did a good job. Ellis Carter ,the electrician who connected my solar panels took the time to answer questions and helped set up a monitoring App on my phone. We could not thank you enough for arranging an engineer to come to visit us today. Gentian Noxha is such a nice young man with huge knowledgeable experiences which had helped us sorted out the App issues. He is not only sort out the App for us, he also check the system inside out to ensure that all working properly. He also took two big cardboard boxes away for us, it’s not we ask him but he saw them in the house. We are so touched by his work ethics and kindness toward to customers. We are very pleased with the installation from Carbon Rewind. Ellis Carter has been with us today to connect up the electrical side of things. Ellis worked very quickly and skillfully to complete everything in good time. We were delighted that at the end of the installation he helped us to install the Solis app on our phones, showing that the panels were working well.

I was not sure about this company, after reading the reviews. Well I can say after so many cancelled dates for installations, some engineers I would not employ myself. But, two of their fitters Nick and Dale from the loft insulation team, went above and beyond their remit. These two are fantastic!!!

When we had occasion to seek extra support and clarification in applying for our SEG account Tom O'Rourke in particular didn't hesitate to help. A really great team of installers (Dan and Justin) went above and beyond to get the job finished on time, even coming out to finish off on a bank holiday morning. The install is neat and to a high standard, and i am already enjoying seeing my electricity consumption from the grid reducing.

Terrible company to deal with, they do not listen to the customer only the flat roofing company that they use to put solar panels on a pitched roof, they supplied them with totally incorrect brackets then said my roof wasn’t good enough, I’ve had roofing companies out that have said there is nothing wrong with my roof but they were using the wrong brackets

Very impressed with all the work (loft insulation and boiler replacement) that has been fitted by the excellent installers from CarbonRewind. This company has provided excellent communication throughout every step from taking on the work to completed work and post completion support.

Be aware that if you have cavity wall filling it is very unlikely you will be able to access any of the Warmer homes grant. If you have cavity wall filling it is unlikely you can get internal or external wall insulation, and without that you can't access grant funding for installation of low energy lighting or energy efficient storage heating that might take your property up an EPC class rating. I sent in information to Carbon Rewind in advance that there was cavity wall filling at my property. They didn't let me know the criteria in advance and I stayed in for hours while someone went round taking photos, films and measurements of every room in my property. As well as feeling really invasive (of my privacy), it was a waste of government money. On a bigger scale it makes me ask how many people are really getting to access the Warmer Homes Grant (how many people don't have cavity wall filling these days?) and what is going to happen to older block of flats like mine where the cavity wall filling means it is almost impossible to get to class C EPC ratings. Make sure you ask for your data (e.g photos and film taken) to be deleted if your application for the grant is not successful.

Olivia and the engineer Andy Mumford were helpful , the engineer was quick at his job and boiler was done quickly without mess and explained well. However, day two it lost pressure ( less than 12 hours after installation) in two weeks its done this four times, can't find any leaks so rung customer care as the information given to me stated to do. Got told not their problem and to ring the manafacturer explained as my mother was critically ill in hospital after emergency brain surgey with a brain bleed after a fall I don't have time to spend hours on the phone and I was following the instructions I had been sent. Person I spoke stated he was new to the company put me on hold three times , said the team I needed were all in meeting but he thought they would contact the manufacturer for me and I would get an email confirming this. I got an email from Brad stating if they came out and it wasn't their fault but the manufactures they would charge me £80 no empathy for my situation, no mention of it, no apology or acknowledgement of what was happening and given that within 12 hours of installation the fault appeared even if it was a manufactures problem they had fitted a faulty boiler.( not engineers fault either) I admit i had this bolier fitted on a scheme, and before anyone says anything, thats because I am registered disbled work full time for nhs111 but still get tax credit due to low wages. Its still no excuse for fitting a faulty boiler or poor service or comments made by other on benefits receiving help. I also waited extra time to have it fitted because they stated with the grant they had to apply for more as needed scaffolding for the flew, that extra was granted no scaffolding was required as engineer said didnt need it and no full new flew was installed as they stated part of the orginal was ok. Where the government funding gone? Something I will be asking the government directly I think as I doubt I wil get honest or correct answers here. Andy Mumford was helpful regarding the bolier issue and gave me the manufacturer number, he was much more helpful and efficient than Carbon Rewind who he contracts to for some installations ( we all have to make a living he can't be held responsible for their poor after service). This review would have been very different if they had been knowlegable,efficient and empathetic to the situation after fitting. I want to point out at all times the engineer has been lovely, did his job well, gone over above his role to help

The system was installed and commissioned by Ellis Carter, who provided a first class service. The install was neat, tidy, seamless and efficient - The engineer provided instruction on the use of the Solis app, in order to monitor the efficiency and integrity of the system. A great installation!

Carbon Rewind installed a 10 panel PV system on our flat roof. Other than a short power down of the house, there was very little disruption and the installation was done with great care, hiding cables from the roof and for the connections to the meter/ fuse boards. Panels installed by subcontract roofers with follow up by Nick. Electrics by Courtney.

External insulation installed by Callum and Ram. Working on an old property always comes unexpected problems. Callum and Ram worked their way through each one and were a pleasure to have around the house. The fake brick detailing is amazing.

Carbon Rewind sent Nick and Dale all the way to Cornwall to fit what we needed to warm and ventilate our home, the lads turned up on time and were very polite, knowledgeable, quick and tidy and if I needed to use carbon rewind again I would not hesitate for a second. I just wanted to make you aware of our disappointing experience with this company 1. The scaffolding company arrived and I wasn’t informed that 2 teams would be arriving independently on that day. My neighbour had to let them in which they weren’t happy about a big truck going over the communal drive 2. The engineers came to fit the panels onto the attic roof and were not happy with the survey done by his own team as it didn’t highlight the limited space and access 3. The engineers then fitted the equipment on a separate day and said the wires were too short and at the end of the day when they left said the equipment was broken? Then why was it fitted ? So do I have a broken device fitted - no one to verify it. 4. The second engineer who came was asking who the first engineer was and if I know his name ? Why would we know team members names? Surely they should have all this info as handover or in your computer systems at your office? 5. The wires were too short to connect and engineers needed to come back for this however no one from the office ever called to arrange this for 3 weeks We needed to chase this. 6. The Final works were done on a day convenient for their team and not us hence we were not in for any handover or even to know if anything broken was replaced? 7. The scaffolding has been up at my house for more than 7 weeks Making my house unsafe I had an appointment today with an engineer to handover the solar panel I formation at 11 am It’s now 1 pm and no one in the office has a clue how to reach the engineers and what time anyone will turn up at my house I’ve taken time off work for this It’s a very disorganised company with extremely poor services

I had my ancient economy 7 heaters replaced with what I thought would be more energy / cost efficient, modern ones. What a horrendous mistake that was. Not only do I pay an equivalent amount of money for electricity, but the new units are totally incapable of heating the space, which used to be the cosiest place I had ever lived, albeit too expensive to keep warm. With a now inhabitable living room, I contacted Carbon Rewind who a year on have done precisely nothing to resolve the issues. Nothing, That is two years with a freezing cold living room. Last year I reported the issues and they pushed me over the Dimplex claiming it was the settings. Rubbish. This year finally one of their electrical managers came out to check because they failed to pass the buck onto the manufacturer. Lo and behold, one of the heaters is faulty and while I have been paying to charge it, the heat is not being released. He also noted that the heaters were too small for the space and were likely specced incorrectly. This had also been raised and ignored. While here, that very same expert kindly adjusted the other working heater without telling me and since then my bills have gone up 40% as this inadequate unit tries, in vain, to heat the entire large room to 30 degrees! An impossible task with even the correctly sized units. So, a free grant has essentially left me without adequate heating and I seemingly I have little comeback. What a costly exercise this has proven to been. It is about time the government scrapped e7 altogether and helped people in fuel poverty to find a much better solution.

We have been very pleased with the service provided by Carbon Rewind. The staff at the end of the phone were pleasant, polite and helpful. Once the schedule was established, all ran according to the timetable, members of the workforce were cheerful, competent and worked hard. Particular thanks to the electrician who completed his work yesterday by installing the battery. This company has been in and out of my property for over 2 years attempting installation of a heating system. It is still not completed and we have no upstairs heating STILL. One engineer was abusive. We have pipework on display all over the house, ceilings down floors still up, leaks, the boiler isn’t hardwired into the electric supply. We were promised the installation completion in weeks it has been years. I have had to get legal advise and I’m in contact now with trading standards. My husband and I are both registered disabled and have been traumatised by this company. Endless emails visits and disasters and still no heating taking YEARS !!! Horrific experience ! Avoid them at all costs!!!

Solar panels etc installed as part of the Solar Together scheme. Carbon Rewind were the winning bidder for this area. The original offer was not consistent between spec and costing. This was "corrected" at least twice by two different people. It seems there is a high turnover of staff. Received a correct costing but no card payment accepted for deposit! and it took three weeks before I received a receipt. The administration at the company leaves a lot to be desired. There is a bright spot - her name is Marta. She is pleasant and competent, organised the installation and replied to emails. The installation is carried out by sub-contractors; the scaffolders were not that careful, panel installation was quickly done but needed some repairs to the roofing felt punctured by the panel clips. Electrical installation was good - cabling from the inverter to the house power supply involved a difficult route. The EV point was missing (another admin malfunction) and was installed a few days later, organised by Marta. Overall the installation is working OK and looks neat. Unfortunately the weather has been miserable so not a great amount of power generated!

After rearranging the start date a few times - Vic and Andy from Carbon Rewind did a sterling job of fitting a new combi boiler in place of our old and condemned heat only system. They arrived in Xmas week so we finally had heat for the Xmas holidays😊 We were very impressed by their professionalism and workmanship and they completed what was, at times, a tricky job in under 3 days. It was just a shame they arrived after the freezing weather!! Still, we’re now in a better place for the next cold spell😊 Many thanks to Vic, Andy and the Carbon Rewind team

After having a boiler fit under the eco friendly scheme The engineers broke my gas fire I've been messed around for over 2years to be fobbed off and told parts had been ordered umpteen times to be told last week the parts was no longer available and are expecting me to pay for a replacement fire out of my own pocket Terrible company

Nick and Dale installed a new loft hatch, insulated my loft and fitted trickle vents in my windows. They were professional, polite, gave good advice, did a great job and cleaned up, I would definitely recommend.

I had few issues with Carbon Rewind in the past with the new boiler installation but those issues have been determined thanking to theirs current employee Engineer Finbar. He went and checked throughout the whole system and found some inconsistences with old parts and the wiring. He operated with utmost knowledge, experience, professionalism and kindness to fix the problems ones for all. After the work he cleaned the place and he explained to me how to operate and what is the most economical way to use the boiler. Which was never done before. Now everything is in order and works properly. Finbar is the highlight star of the company and very pleased that he came to fix the long ongoing problems. I thank you and God Bless you. So far we've had the loft insulation topped up by Dale and Nick but we're still outstanding some work (hense the 4*) They were great, turned up when they were supposed to and were polite and efficient having the work done in just a couple of hours. They took their shoes off at the door until they were up in the loft even after us telling them not to worry and cleaned up after themselves. Would definitely recommend work done by these 2. The work outstanding was to do with the boiler which was meant to be done on the same day. However the engineer didn't bother to turn up! So we're waiting for a revised date for the work to be completed on. (Hopefully not the same engineer) It's a shame really. If it wasn't for Nick and Dale, I'd have left no stars

This is a brand new installation only finished on 29th November total time 2 days. The workforce was polite and efficient putting the panels in on day 1. Uri (Yuri?) the electrician came on day 2 to complete the installation and in a couple of hours everything was up and working. A special 6 star rating must be given to Eleasha in the office for her unfailing cheerfulness and politeness whenever I rang for information which she answered quickly. Well done Carbon Rewind!

I can’t recommend Andy (plumber & electrician) enough. No job was too much trouble, he did all the snagging for the plumbing and made a neat and professional job. Tuesday ,things got off to a rocky start. the nicest electrician I think I have ever met, was expecting solar panels, but they had not yet arrived...undaunted, he carried on, doing as much as he could, before letting me know that he couldn't get either the solar panels or a roofer before Saturday. The very nxt morning, I was awoken by a lot of noise on my roof as the roofers had arrived, and that was quickly followed by the nice electrician, and the whole thing was set up and in working order by the afternoon..!! As a whole, I am delighted with the installation of the solar panels, and look forward to the benefit they might give me!! I would certainly recommend this installer, as despite the confusion at first, the whole installation was carried out quickly and with minimal fuss and mess!! Well done Carbon Rewind, and thank you!!

Carbon Rewind installed Solar Panels for us in September 2022. They were quick to make the installation happen, and kept me informed every step of the way. Even when there was some minor damage to our external brickwork, they were quick to make it right. I've given only 4 stars because from a project management perspective, things might have been even better if before Carbon Rewind contacted me they checked the notes on our account. I was often telling them that no, that step has already happened, or telling them they might want to check with their team because I've already been contacted about this. Only a minor inconvenience, of course, in the scheme of a big installation! I'm also very pleased with the energy saving results so far. Our energy supplier has already suggested we turn our direct debit down and we've only had the panels just shy of one month.

Grant applied for and they sorted out everything for me. Yes some dates changed but they worked around me. Brilliant service and always on the end of the phone for any questions I had.

Syed and Andy have been nothing but amazing with sorting my heaters couldn’t recommend enough.

Ram and Callum have done a fabulous job and left the house in clean condition. They were delightful men and understood how much the house means to me. I was very lucky to have such a great team. Liz has also been fantastic at explaining everything to me. Wall insulation is a big project, but Carbon Rewind help you relax during the process. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Absolutely terrible company to deal with. Always let you down and don't show up. They've had to return several times and still the boiler is leaking and the radiator in my lounge has still not been replaced. It's been leaking for over 2 months! All the radiators they tried to fit where below the recommended BTU for the room sizes. The boiler was installed not in my chosen location. They cut corners to make as much money as possible! Avoid at all costs!

Very professional, knowledgable engineer. We have an older heating system that has scared off a few heating engineers but Vic from carbon rewind was not fazed and done some brilliant work. Thanks again guys

Customer service on the phone was great, especially Dee. There was a mix up on installation day so it didn't run smoothly and Stewart, the electrician had to come back the next day. However, aside from that it all went well and I am happy with the solar panels and their installation.

Edited 21/07/22 Not a great start but problems sorted Firstly, they didn’t wear any PPE even though we were in the 2nd “circuit breaker” lockdown in November 2020, which I thought was odd. It took two days to replace the boiler, I was at work the 2nd day and so I had someone else in the house-I wasn’t given any clue how to work the boiler/set the timer etc. They said the controller was faulty and an electrician would be around to replace it and left a new boxed one-no one ever turned up. I still don’t know how to control it! Edit 21/07/22 Carbon rewind for in touch to check everything was okay, I told them about the above problems. They arranged for an electrician to sort this issue, all good now!

An Engineer called today from Carbon Rewind with a puzzling problem we were having with out central heating. Finbarr arrived and dived into the very complicated wiring and sorted out the problem. I’ve had a lot of problems with Carbon Rewind and if you had asked me to give a review 2 months ago I would have given 0 stars and written about the disgraceful service I have received. However, more recently, Syed Mahmood and esp Chris Armstrong have restored my faith in the company. They are the first and only people I have met who know what they are talking about and have been proactive in solving issues.

From start to finish an excellent service by Carbon Rewind. Dhillan Shah and Alex Clifford handled my inquiry and subsequent outcome with a level of personal care and customer service I thought had vanished into a frustrating chat bot. Their high standards were upheld by Carbon Rewind's lead installer Chris Armstrong who single handedly expertly removed two inefficient and costly to run 20 year old storage heaters and fitted state of the art "smart" meters in around half a day. No mess, no fuss, and all signs of the old heaters removed. It's early days yet (May) but come the colder weather, I look forward to much more efficient, controllable and cheaper heating. Thanks again to all the team for your great work.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. They have caused such delays in making contact. I can no longer obtain what I desperately needed. They seem under staffed and call once a month and if you fail to respond they drop your application very very poor

I thank my lucky stars for finding Carbon Rewind just as i was about to give up as having tried several London installers which were turned down by the Gov, Green Grant as too expensive, I deceided to try Watford area. Carbon Rewined poped up Phoned them with only three days left to the deadline. They were very helpful and managed a quick estimate, which was accepted by the Green Grant Scheme, just in time to meet the deadline. The grant was awarded for a Dakin Air |Source Heat Pump. I must tell you from start to finish Carbon Rewind Electrician and installer did a fantastic job. One was called Dan sorry I cant remember the name of the other gentleman, but I am sure Liz the project manager will know, she was so efficiant understanding and helpful, always phoned me back and kept me up to date right through. The installaton of the Air Source Heat Pump is very complicated intricate and involved a lot of alteration to one of my rooms and other areas such as floorboards up complete wireing outside and part inside the whole job took almost two weeks so I had ample time to experance the quality of there work which was outstanding right through. They both went the extra mile to make sure everything was done properly. So neat and tidy. The pipework and wireing was nicely fitted with dedicated accessories. It was a pleasure to watch such professionalism as I have in the past experienced some shoddy work. They replaced everything as before and left everything clean and tidy the Air Source Heat Pump working beautifilly and lots of compliments from my friends and neighbours when they see the pump outside. Carbon Rewind is one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. Most of their business is installing boilers and insulation funded by means-tested grants, so customers aren't paying directly for services so do not have the opportunity to make complaints to trading standards. Their work for me amounted to a catalogue of disasters spanning many months: -During the boiler installation they flooded the kitchen. They didn't check all the TRVs so I had to get them back to drain the system and install another one. -The ECO funded boiler required installation of bathroom extractors. The electrician who did this made a mess of the exterior vents. -During the cavity wall insulation installation many polystyrene beads escaped into the environment; they made no effort to clear them up and didn't care even when the environment agency deemed them extremely dangerous to wildlife. The installer was very rude, actually telling me that the polystyrene was biodegradable so we should just bury it in the ground. 6 months on I'm still constantly finding large quantities of insulation outside but also pouring out of the walls including above a kitchen worktop falling into food. Clearly an error with the installation as the beads should be bonded and not move once set but they are ignoring my requests to rectify and claim it's fine. They also failed to do some brickwork that they were being paid to do by my window installers. -They had never installed an ASHP before and sent someone who'd done a brief course but never actually installed one. The site survey was inadequate: they didn't agree the specific location with me and therefore sited it at the incorrect height too far from the house, they didn't check the electrics and not until after the start of installation did they realise they had to get UK Power Networks to upgrade the fuse, which left us without any form of heating for days. Soon after the installation was supposedly complete, it became clear there was a problem. They then had to hire a professional with experience of Daikin heat pumps to redo the install, which meant I had to empty a bedroom and all the floorboards had to come up again. In total I had to do this four times. -When taking up floorboards to fit new pipes they hit a pipe and water poured through the kitchen light fittings, which then all had to be replaced. -They dropped cement into an outside drain and blocked it. They promised that the floorboards would be replaced exactly as they were before, but instead left a huge mess including a hole in the floor. I had to persuade them to send someone to repair it all. The person who came to do this hit some small nails into one of the pipes, which after a few weeks started to leak and eventually caused a serious flood with hot water pouring through the ceiling. Two months later I am still waiting for a response to my query about compensation for the damage caused. They did send someone to fix the leak the same day but they also closed a valve that then stopped the boiler from working and their fix prevented the floorboards from being able to go back down so we couldn't walk on the landing safely until the following day when someone came back to sort it out. They said they would send someone to look at the boiler two days later but we actually had several weeks of no boiler for hot water and having to use the electric immersion, which resulted in extremely high electricity usage at great expense. I keep experiencing faults with the ASHP. They sent the manufacturer out to assess the problem but more than two months later no one has come to fix it. Unfortunately I paid when I thought the heat pump had been installed correctly so am now being ignored. They may be waiting for the warranty to expire. They are unprofessional and do not care about their customers. The owners blame their employees and although there are one or two people trying to do the right thing, it isn't enough. I'm still suffering from my decision to use them.

What a delightful change to be helped by such a warm and considerate company. Unlike many others everyone has so far bent over backwards to accommodate us with understanding to our changing needs. I can not speak highly enough and can recommended them to anyone looking for, not just a job done, but done with old fashioned standards of respect to their clients. Thank you so much PP

We cannot fault Carbon Rewind from start to the staff on the phones who dealt with queries swiftly the surveyor and Vick & Anthony who fitted our boiler and central heating. They were friendly efficient and tidy. We now have a nice warm home. Big Thank You to all !

I wouldn't recommend this company. They did solid wall insulation for us through the Green Scheme. They left it to the last minute to start the work to the point that they had less than 2 weeks left to do all the work, until our voucher was going to expire. We had to extend our voucher twice because of them. The amount of stress they put us through is unimaginable. They are completely disorganised, lie about completion times and don't have their own people to do the work. They employ various sub-contractors who aren't even very professional, so things can go wrong in many ways. And when they do, they are extremely slow at sorting them out. One example is the scaffolding company which was completely rubbish; it took them over 2 weeks to come back to fix something they had installed wrong twice. I had decided to let things go and don't do a bad review, but when our flu pipe ('installed' by their plumber) almost flew away in the recent winds, I realised I had to warn other people about this company.

The two guys who installed our central heating system Kamer and Ben did and absolute brilliant job can not fault them. Tidied up after them selves very hard working friendly nothing any trouble highly recommended these two ... excellent

LOST OVER £9000 VOUCHER!!! DISTURBINGLY BAD SERVICE AVOID AT ALL COST. FELT LIKE I GOT SCAMMED!!! GOT DRAGGED ALONG FOR MONTHS UNTIL MY VOUCHER RAN OUT. THEY DO MULTIPLE "SURVEYS" BUT NEVER DO ANY WORK. KEPT SENDING INVOICES OVER AND OVER APPARENTLY BECAUSE THEY WERE CONSTANTLY GETTING IT WRONG!!! COMPLETELY USELESS AND INCOMPETENT PEOPLE WORKING HERE. MAYBE THEY SHOULD TRY RUNNING FOR PM. WONT ANSWER PHONE CALLS AND IGNORE EMAILS. GO LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE.

I had a positive experience with Carbon Rewind who installed 2 night storage heaters at my property for free under a Government Scheme. My installer, Dan, did a great job, was very informative, friendly and tidied up after himself. I'm so grateful for these new heaters as it'll make the winter with my 6 month old baby so much better!

Carbon Rewind is a professional and helpful service provider. The first installer for the under-floor insulation instalment did a terrible job, but Carbon Rewind rectified the situation promptly. The installer Ram is exceptional. The service from inception to execution of the under-floor insulation and loft insulation was done at a very good standard.

Liz the Project Manager at Carbon Rewind and Tom the supervisor that installed our underfloor insulation on the actual evening of the deadline for our voucher running out were both superb. They deserve a medal! After a slow start with some poor communication about what would work in our situation, the race to get it all done in time was on. Liz was determined to problem solve and help me find a way to get the job done despite the short timescale to work within. She stayed alert to the hurdles I had to get through, (managing tenants and needing to move a lot of stuff out and then back into the cellar to enable Tom to work in the space) and kept in touch with me throughout. It genuinely felt like we were working as a team. That's not always the case when you work with a contractor. I would certainly consider working with them again on other projects.

Truly wonderful service. Had the entire outside house hard wall insulated under the Green Homes Grant Scheme. CARBON REWIND were amazing, ok yes a few crossed wires and no shows from tradesmen, but it was a BIG BIG job. I was at all times able to communicate with someone at the company and even had a direct mobile number of the site manager and main workmen. The house looks brand new and a million miles from the pebble dash front of before. People actually stop to tell me how much they like the look and colour & I have also seen people taking pictures. Inside the property is so much warmer and silent!! a true transformation. Best thing I ever did for my Victorian cottage and definatly the best company to do it with ! THANK YOU

They didn't do a survey until after I had gone through the whole grant application and approval process and then were unable to supply a suitable underfloor insulation product.

We were impressed with the hard work of the engineer who worked on our house and grateful to him for the helpful way he explained what was being done.

An underwhelming experience. First time GCH install booked under a 'tenant on benefits' scheme. 1st appointment was a no show as the 'van broke down' 2nd try two installers turned up but soon left saying the job was too big. 3rd try a sole installer arrived, made every excuse in the book why he couldn't do it and left. This was even after our building company foreman had gone to the property and explained to him how to do the job. Tedious. Avoid.

Tried to employ Carbon Rewind as part of the Green Homes Grants Scheme. After first contacting them & sending in some pictures & all relevant details they keep me waiting for 6 weeks only for them so say "It is with regret, we do not have the capacity right now to take on anymore External Wall Insulation jobs as we've partnered with the LADS Scheme and have acquired a considerable amount of properties in and around the Watford area." What a bloody joke this company is...

Great service and no complaints. We used CR to install our loft insulation and was a smooth process. Liz at HQ was fantastic and always responded promptly and helpfully. The team that attended our home were diligent and really tidy. We contacted lots of companies for the Green Home Grant scheme and many were unresponsive and not impressive. So glad we used CR.

I became aware of the Green Homes Grant and contacted Carbon Rewind Ltd as they’re relatively close to my home. They were extremely helpful and talked me through the process of obtaining the grant for cavity wall insulation. This is a very busy company and sometimes communication can be a bit frustrating, but I decided to just leave it with them, and they did not disappoint !! I was contacted with an installation date , they arrived precisely on time and did a great job. Very professional, clean and tidy. Would highly recommend this company, just be patient with the communication.

Mixed emotions, excellent at first but now not responding and cannot contact. Phone lines keep going to answering machines and no reply to emails. Edit: Had to update review to 1 star, recommend not to use this company. Their Electrical Contractor 'Switched On' has now let me down twice despite my Dad taking a day off work and we are still waiting on a gas sleeve to be fitted to the gas which I am being threatened to have my gas supply shut off. This is playing havoc with my mental health and I wish I had never bothered.

Received a quote from them as part of the Green Grant scheme, all the way until the quote they were really good but since I've received the quote and responded with a request from the Gov about the scheme they have gone radio silent. I've sent them multiple emails and haven't heard anything back. Seems like another company setup recently trying to profit from the Green Grant scheme

Had boiler replaced under scheme, Joe the fitter was very professional, polite and tided up all the mess on finishing and took it away, haven't seen quality service like this for a while :) From start to finish Carbon Rewind have been excellent, polite even when i had a problem with heating they came out straight away and resolved the issue. 100% good service from reception to fitters, keep up the good work.Very happy and satified customer.
