Been there for light bulbs, strip lights and cooker hood lights. They have a good stock of all sorts of things.
A fantastic little shop and really helpful staff. They repaired my GHDS for me I was really pleased with the quick service I would definitely recommend them they sell lots of different items.

I phoned ahead to see if they could handle electrical repairs on household appliances, which they confirmed, so I brought in my item for repair. The man behind the counter was very short with me, took my contact details, the item and a £5 deposit. A few days later, I received a call from them asking what was wrong with the item, as this apparently wasn't passed on when I dropped it off. When I told them that it was an electrical fault, I was told that they can't do any repairs to circuit boards! To which I told them that I would pick it up, as it seemed there was nothing they could do. When I collected the item, I was not given back my deposit, and told that was the fee for them looking at it. Thoroughly disappointed in their poor communication and service.
Untrustworthy and dishonest con men. I visited this shop to purchase a phone charger. I picked one off the shelf and the shop assistant came over and rudely took it from and swapped it with another one. I thought it was strange but didn’t think much of it. When I got home I noticed the one he had given me had already been opened. I plugged it in and it wasn’t working. It has clearly been returned but they’re still trying to flog it. I returned it immediately. I brought my device with me and asked them try a different one on my device. This time they gave me one that worked. There was no apology. I should’ve asked for a refund and took my custom elsewhere.
The perfect proof that local shops are better than online. Spent multiple days trying to find a certain kind of fuse and googling details from the panel I was looking at, to no avail. Two minutes in this shop and they'd worked out what the problem was and sorted me with a bunch of the correct fuses all for a quid. Plus they were completely understanding of my idiocy on the subject and were kind enough to explain it in terms I could understand.
The company came and did a board change and a full Inspect and Test on the system. Highly recommended very professional and clean and tidy. Thank you again for a pleasant experience

Did a replacement light fitting and installed a separate socket for a washing machine. Both times gave a friendly service and tidied up afterwards.
Brilliant little electrical shop with loads of stock. Owners very helpful and will order in items if needs be. They ordered an unusual sized oven bulb for me and were cheaper than Amazon too.You won't get this level of personal service at B&Q!! Support these local stores before the 'big guns' force their closure.
