Tried to phone this company a few times to get my car booked in. Every time you get an answering machine which gives you a mobile number to Watts App. I have messaged them 3 or 4 times and they can't even be bothered to reply. Maybe looking at a 2006 Corsa was beneath them. Terrible way to run a business
They came out to my car and diagnosed the problem very quickly. After informing me they could repair the part I needed within three days, they called back just a few hours later to say they’d fixed it and could fit it later that day. I was very impressed with the speed of the service.
**What a brilliant Auto Electrician** Andy pinpointed the problem (Tesco Insurance Black Box!!!) that was draining battery on son's car. First class service from a really great chap. Thoroughly recommended for any car related electrics issue. Mobile service so can visit your poorly wheels onsite. Busy, so be prepared to wait.

Proceed with caution - bad experience! Maybe I was an unlucky one-off? But I defiantly feel I received a poor, yet expensive service. I cannot recommend them at all. I do not believe auto electrix operated in a professional, efficient and economical manner on my camper van. Throughout the massive period of 47 days that I was without my transport, they did get her running again, but were unable to remedy the various electrical faults that manifested themselves along with the main issue, of what they say, transpired to be a wet ECU. I had to eventually draw an end to their spiralling costs across two branches and take the van away - now running, but with many unresolved extra issues. I subsequently took my vehicle to another firm, who were not ‘blinkered and focused' on specific electrical matters. Neither did they shirk away from dismantling components to properly investigate matters - which revealed matters unseen by Auto Electrix! They resolved all of the remaining issues swiftly and economically. They also reassembled the vehicle properly, too. Something that Auto Electrix failed to manage… (Apart from many loose or ill-fitting parts, the plastic housing to the electric seat edge is broken and will not fix back and electronic position adjuster knob keeps popping off when I exit the van). When all reassembled, the garage wondered how all these issues related to a wet ECU? So they put the original ‘wet’ ECU back in, and the van ran perfectly - it still does. Auto Electrix were adamant that the additional issues were down to an incompatible or faulty replacement ECU - so during the time the van was with them, I had to purchase THREE ECU’s which were obviously not required. In my humble opinion, Auto Electrix does not appear to have a broad-enough experience of how motor vehicles work generally. IF there did, they’d be able to apply their specific electronic fault-finding knowledge to the bigger picture. They spent an inordinate amount of time being 'too close to the trees’ - when they needed to stand back and use some general automotive knowledge. I courteously requested a review of the £1328 element I disputed, out of the £1775 I was charged. The proprietor rather aggressively waffled his way around justifying the majority of this and offered to consider reviewing about 30% of that amount/work over the weekend. He never came back to me. When I chased him up, he eluded me again. When I eventually I got through to him, he was dismissive and declared they were totally justified in charging what they did and that he’s not bothered about getting one or two bad reviews. I did eventually speak to the proprietor Andy at Auto Electrix to establish what he had decided about their charges. He wasn’t concerned about not coming back to me. He dismissed any refund whatsoever and washed his hands of any responsibility! I even suggested I’d reduce my refund down to only £455 just to get this put to bed today, and I’d ignore the majority of my concerns. He rather rudely hung up! Obviously I feel financially hard done by. I feel the motoring public deserves to know of my sad experiences here, so they can consider whether they want to risk the same. Please proceed with caution - and a fat bag of money.
Great service, professional and knowledgable. I messaged on Google with my issue (Ford focus instrument cluster very common apparently) mind was put at rest pretty quickly and I was fitted in within a few days. Andy arrived to where my car was left because it wouldn’t start at all. He was on time and took over and removed it well within an hour. Bought it back refurbished (at a very reasonable price) the next day and viola car running again! A few other issues he flagged but was extremely transparent showing me the full report. Had an immobiliser issue which thought would be a lot worse then it was. Andy and his apprentice made quick work of it and for a decent price. Only a couple hours of work and the car is back up and running. Highly recommend.
Yesterday, 04/09/23, Andy arrived within 1 1/2 hours of my call for help. My motorhome had a total vehicle and habitation electrical failure. Very friendly and politely, Andy diagnosed the problem and restored electrical power to enable the vehicle to function. He also identified 4 additional failures on the habitation side. He did all this in an hour at a cost of £70.00! He booked me into the Auto Electrix main garage tomorrow, 06/09/23, for further diagnostics and repair!! Andy is professional, extremely knowledgeable and very competent. I thoroughly recommend his Mobile service and exceptional customer service. Thank you Andy

Excellent service , had a battery replacement for my zafira that would not start in my drive , I encountered all sorts of error messages, and I was quoted £418 from Vauxhall , Andy squeezed me in next day , took it all apart and checked it , with some very expensive looking equipment, I have to say I was a bit pessimistic, thinking the worst but in just over an hour it was all sorted , professional, polite and superb value fir money ( £193) Thank you

I had taken my car to two different places and charged £120 by each to be told it was my DPF then had to get it re mapped further £120 …AND it still WOULDN'T work it turns out it was my instrument cluster … my partner phone Andy up AND he had my car in and I was able to pick it up an hour later and thanks to these guys my car runs like a dream I’d recommend these guys to anyone and will definitely get our services and everyone we know from now on they deserve this 5 * thanks

STAY AWAY !!! Criminal service DO NOT USE this man had my car over 3 months.. Charged £700 and not fixed the fault also lies about repairing unit and lost an extra £190 as he did not fix and I could not get refund on old unit. Attitude was 'well you should of bought a new one' and still charged me £700 !! Very aggressive and threatening nature, stay away.
Our Van had been in & out of garages for months (including the main dealership twice) with a recurring engine malfunction, frequently it would let us down & fail to start, despite this we were told no issue could be found. The van then broke down completely & had to be recovered by the RAC. Andy found & fixed the issue in no time. Excellent knowledge, excellent communication & friendly & excellent service. We would highly recommend.

Andy insisted that I pay through his preferred method of payment. That is, through the invoice link that he had sent to my email or pay with my card with a card machine which he had in his van. Both payment methods I wasn’t comfortable with because I wasn’t confident where and how safely and securely my card personal details would be. My preference method of payment was to transfer the money via online banking. That is, from my online banking directly to their company’s bank/business account so that we have a verified payment connection. But the bank transfer required me to provide the business account name. I asked Andy for the business account name. he was hesitant and he didn’t give me the business account name. In the end, I had no choice but to contact my bank to override the business account name question since Andy declined to give it to me. I found the whole payment stuff a bit dodgy.
I contacted Auto Electrix after my usual garage weren’t able to sort out an electrical fault I had been suffering with for ages. Andy diagnosed the problem, sourced a replacement unit and fitted it all within a week and for a very reasonable price. He is a very knowledgeable guy and extremely helpful and professional. I would recommend him to anybody.
After Christmas my Jaguar XF failed to start and threw up a multitude of electrical errors. The RAC tried to start it and failed! even writing to me to say sorry they couldnt get me going again. So I reached out to Auto Electrix, knowing it would need some specialist attention. Andy from Auto Electrix came out and performed some rigourous diagnostics, eventually diagnosing a faulty ECU. He very quickly had the ECU replaced for me at a very good price, and got me up and running again. Andy is a througoughly nice and extremely knowledgeable chap, who I would be happy to recommend.

Once again Andy arrived earlier than booked, he got straight on with a diagnostic, turns out it was a battery to ECU registration that was needed. He set it all up, apparently needs 4 hours to register with new battery. Never would have known that without Andy's help. Thank you mate. Would definitely use again.

Andy came to check out my Quashqai infotainment system which suddenly stopped working...so no cameras, radio, satnav etc. He spent an hour and a half thoroughly testing all the circuits, fuses and running diagnostics on the infotainment system. The conclusion was that there was power going to the unit but it was not functioning beyond that. Andy offered to send the unit off to a company he uses on a regular basis in Hungary to allow them to diagnose and repair the unit. I must admit I was a little dubious about letting the infotainment go across to Hungary but Andy assured me that they were 100% reliable as he has used them many times without issue and they were very professional and consistant with diagnosis and repair of a multitude of electrical and technical based systems. Andy uses DHL to transport his goods abroad, they ship all goods with insurance cover at a very reasonable price. The turnaround time for the repair after diagnosis in Hungary was around 14 days but it was worth the wait. The Company in Hungary charged a very fair price for the repair, a fraction of the cost expected for a new system at around £3000. All in all with the carraige charge, repair and Andy's pre checks, diagnostics and re-installation including set up diagnostics, the final cost came in under £600. To top that the Hungarian company also gave me a 2 year warranty alongside the repair too, a bonus in itself. I highly recommend Andy to anyone looking for an Auto Electrician, he is a smashing guy, straight talking, extremely knowlegeable and not to mention amazingly good at his job. Thanks Andy for a job well done.

Fantastic service from Andy at Auto Electrix. I had diagnosed an issue with my engine management reader and set out to change a sensor, and in error broke the wiring. Upon arriving to rewire. Andy enquired as to why I was doing this. He then correctly diagnosed the actual issue demonstrating my basic engine diagnostics was a symptom as opposed to the cause. He then showed me the issues using his professional equipment and then priced and fixed the root cause of the problem, as well as my wiring mishap. Lesson learned, use the experts! Fantastic service, honest and transparent pricing, and a real pleasure to talk to someone who really knows their stuff. Thank you Andy and Auto Electrix!

Andy was really quick to respond to my first enquiry and managed to squeeze me in at the last minute after my car failed its MOT due to an intermitant brake light fault. Andy found the issue, ordered the part and came back a few days later to install it and all for a reasonable price. Happy to say my car has now passed its MOT. Absolute rip off!! £180 and 3 hours of my life wasted. No progress made, what so ever! Incorrect diagnosis of the ignition module. I later spoke with a 'Specialist', who correctly identified the fault over the phone! In all my years trading, no one has ever called me, demanding payment, before issuing an invoice? Invoice received 2 days later, and paid within 24 hours. Totally unprofessional service.

Well I had a real problem with the head lights on my Classic mini. There was clearly a short somewhere in the system. Auto Electrics were great and sorted it without taking too much time.
Fixed my Renault Espace which wouldn't start. Diagnosed problem related to starter button and wiring issue. Very happy with the service and will use again
On the first visit I felt pleased that I’d found someone to sort my van out. Andy seemed stressed and lacking in customer service, but I didn’t mind particularly, because the van was my focus. He did some work on it and, as he’d got the van working, I paid him £565. The van worked for a week or so, and then ‘died’ again, with the same problem: the key wouldn’t turn. I phoned him, asking him to come back, but he was irritated and started accusing me of lying (when I suggested it must be the same fault as the problem was the same). I was gobsmacked at his abysmal attitude, but went along with his puerility in order to get my van going. He took my van battery, the entire ignition and the key and wouldn’t return it for 5 weeks, as he considered it wasn’t an ‘essential’ journey!! It was to me, as we have four children and couldn’t fit our family into my husband’s car over Christmas and the new year. I spoke to the police in the hope that it wasn’t a civil matter and I could report my van parts as theft, though it turned out to be a civil matter! I turned to Trading Standards and took advice, but unfortunately it was up to me to prove that he hadn’t done his job properly... where to begin on something in which I’m far from fluent?? The law doesn’t seem to land on the side of the customer, sadly. Finally he returned my ignition and key, without even contacting me and put the key through the letterbox. The van still doesn’t work and now that he’s invoiced me again, for £135, I’m once again out of pocket and my van is still not working. When I suggested that he waived the second fee, as his ‘work’ had achieved absolutely nothing, he threatened that if the invoice wasn’t paid in 7 days, he’d pass it on to a debt collecting agency! It’s currently with a chap that I finally feel I can trust and it turns out that the fault wasn’t what Andy Goral diagnosed at all and lies with the corroded, cover-less fuse box. The new diagnosis and repairs will cost me another fortune, though I’d rather line the pocket of an honourable man than those of an ‘engineer’ lacking in consideration or integrity. I urge anyone reading this, to get a second opinion on any vehicle repairs, especially if Auto Electrix are involved... unless you have deep pockets and a thick skin, as you will receive a rough, ready and ridiculous ‘service’, spend a fortune and still not have a completed job. ** APPROACH WITH CAUTION **

My cigarette lighter was faulty. Andy arrived on time, diagnosed the fault and made a repair in no time for a reasonable price. He also took the time to explain why the problem had occurred. I found this chap using Google, I explained the problem over the phone, he knew exactly what car I had which impressed me straight away! Gave me a date to drop my car (or he did say he could come to me and remove the part) and a date it would be ready by with a price. He was true to his word, keeping me updated with the progress even though he was on holiday at the time the part arrived! He was back Friday evening and my car was ready to be picked up after work Saturday, which was actually 3 days earlier than anticipated. I would highly recommend Auto Electrix to friends, family and strangers alike.

Long standing ABS light and then speedo stopped working on our Astra. A number of 'experts' predicted doom and gloom and ridiculous main dealer costs (enough to make scrapping the car the only option). Andy was positive from the start and called around to do an on site diagnosis. The ABS computer was found to be the culprit and was taken away for repair. A week later the part has been replaced and both faults are now clear. Excellent price, lovely guy and you'll want to keep his dog!
