David and the team have always been fantastic. Great value for money, reliable, and consistently high-quality workmanship. We’ve used them for the past 5–6 years for PAT testing, EICR certification, and various other electrical jobs in our flat in East London, and we couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

5 stars does not do this experience justice — I had an absolutely brilliant experience with Certified Electricians London Ltd. I’ve been renovating a 50-year-old property. After rewiring the entire house, I asked them to check my setup, install a new consumer unit, and provide an EICR. The quality of the work was fantastic, but what really made it stand out was their ongoing availability and responsiveness to my flood of emails and questions. They were fast, efficient, and the end result looks incredible — I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

I used this local company recently and I am so glad I did . Very good efficient service . Ian was punctual, professional and very tidy. Will definitely be using David and his team again .

This time we asked Certified Electricians London Ltd to Install movement triggered lights/ emergency lights in the communal staircase. We got a really competitive quote. Josh and Tyler did a very good job installing the lights, and Josh went out of his way to make a temperamental sensor work, that didn't like the layout of the top landing. We will use CEL again and I can highly recommend them!

Recently used Certified Electricians for the second time and love their service! Electrician Joshua came to fit new light switches for us and did an excellent job - he was punctual, extremely polite and very knowledgeable with my many questions!

I cannot praise this company highly enough, 11/10 for the first part of the job so far. To be brief, I have had my fingers burnt with a rogue tradesman and Certified Electricians London have come to the rescue. I am so glad I chose this company, Ian the electrician arrived on time and was pleasant and courteous from the start. He has thoroughly assessed the work that was done, and he has advised us of the work needed to rectify the issues we had been left with. Ian clearly takes pride in his work, his expertise and knowledge was in evidence at every stage of the appointment. I am awaiting the report so we can begin scheduling the next part of the job, I feel extremely relieved that the electrical issues we have been left with will be resolved.

Great service and professionalism. Good communication and punctual and very accommodating due to an emergency over the Easter hols which was sorted quickly by David to change appointment time for next day. Highly recommended!

Great communication and service. It was easy to get a quote via video for lighting installation, and the job was booked in quickly at a reasonable price. Ian and his apprentice were excellent on the day and completed the work with minimal disruption. I’m very happy with the outcome and would definitely use this company again.

Absolutely excellent service. Contacted them and had an appointment for the works that same week. Ian who did the work was excellent, nice guy, efficient, and cleaned up after himself too. Very considerate of our property. Fantastic communication, started with a 4 hour window but let us know when Ian was almost here. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Used Certified Electricians London last month and they were able to diagnose and fix an issue with the electrics in my flat, they asked for photos beforehand so they knew what to do when they arrived. They arrived on time, gave professional advice and resolved an issue with an oven wire not going back to the fusebox. Was able to make it safe and connected the wire to the wall. 10/10 all round and will definitively use them again for all my electrical issues

Ian helped replace my downlights and fixed their wiring, taking the time to answer my technical questions which helped me learn more about what the issue and solution was! Highly appreciated and Ian was skillful and worked quickly. Additionally there was transparent pricing plus quick and clear communication - a breeze!

I recently engaged Certified Electricians London (CEL) to install over thirty LED downlights in six of our rooms. They removed the old halogen downlights, positioned the new LED ones, did the rewiring and made good the ceilings (excluding painting). The work was completed promptly and professionally. The electrician was reliable, personable, and cared about his work and me as a customer. I’ll use CEL again and I highly recommend them.

Based on the excellent reviews, I decided to go with this company, and I'm so glad I did! Terrific service and company. David and Andrew came by on separate visits to replace 14 halogen with LED and fix some light switches. Professional and punctual. Much better than other electricians I have used in London. Thank you.

Replaced my consumer unit and installed electric oven. They used a cable for the oven that was way too small to cope with the wattage (fire hazard!) and the terminal connections were so loose they came out just by touching the cable. The consumer unit was inspected by another electrician who said the installation looked like a rush job - lots of bare copper and cables bent too tightly. UPDATE 25/11/2025: I'm not going to reply to this rant other than to correct some facts: 1) The previous oven was a much lower wattage and was installed many years before I moved in. 2) David continues to insist that a 1mm flex is suitable to attach a 3200W pyrolytic oven. I'm certain any other electrician would confirm this is not the case and is in fact incredibly dangerous. It was only by pure luck that I discovered this problem as I had to take the oven out since it wasn't sitting flush.

I booked Certified Electricians London to inspect a few dead plug sockets. The problem turned out to be a hidden socket in a cupboard that simply needed switching on. I paid for the hour, and the electrician left. The real issue started afterward. I received multiple unsolicited emails asking for reviews. I replied that the work was fine but the spam was not welcome. In response, the company’s director called me and delivered a foul-mouthed rant, justifying their pricing structure and berating me for my feedback. I accept that they charge for their time, but calling customers to insult them is unacceptable. I can’t speak to the quality of their technical work, because little was needed. Their customer service, however, is abysmal. Spam emails and threatening phone calls make this a company to avoid. To update my review further to the response: I was happy to pay for the time of the electrician, and did so without complaint. I replied to one of the emails he sent soliciting for reviews to say that I didn't appreciate the spam considering he didn't really do much work for me and I didn't need any warranty. Not his fault he didn't do any work, I'm sure he was very willing to. The reply is a desperate attempt to divert the mistake of his phone call to me. Once the swearing started, I recorded the call to keep a record. As I mentioned to him on the phone, I wasn't intending on writing a review at all, until he called me and started swearing I haven't asked for any refund, and wasn't intending to, my aim here is to warn the public of the hair trigger of this man's temper. I don't begrudge him his living at all, just beware of the likely response if you have any feedback for him. It says a lot about a companies customer service they they can't take the slightest of negative feedback.

The guys arrived on time and completed the works to renew our 8 kitchen LED ceiling lights and upgrade a socket to one with USB chargers in too. They completed the work carefully and efficiently and with no fuss or mess. They will be my first port of call when we next need some work doing. Reasonable price too 👍🏻

David and the team were so helpful they made the project a breeze. I needed new track lights put up in a tricky space. Marlowe, the engineer who came to do the work, was punctual, friendly and did an amazing job – leaving no dust at all! I would definitely recommend them.
