Chip of Folk Electrical carried out jobs including a garage wiring, a fuse board change and rewire, ceiling and kitchen lights, socket work and an EICR. Several reviewers describe him as professional, and more than one say the work was done carefully and tidily with no mess. Two reviewers say he fixed a problem, with one reporting that he worked with the module manufacturer to correct incorrectly installed modules, and another reporting that he fixed a ceiling light on a dimmer. Chip was outstanding. He wired our garage for electricity and completed several other jobs. He was flexible and attentive through the process. A pleasure from start to finish, and we'll definitely be going to him for future jobs.

He is advertised on Checkatrade and within a few hours of contacting him thoroughly checked out all my property’s electrics, including fuse-box for an EICR then produced the report quickly. I highly recommend him and his work and I will definitely be a returning customer as he is punctual, polite with very good customer service, professional, clean worker and his charges are extremely honest, competitive and fair.

Chip does a great job and always works carefully and tidily. He is very conscientious with everything he does.
We had Chip from Folk Electrical come round, following a recommendation, to install a couple of ceiling lights and switching some lamps to 5 amps sockets on a dimmer module. (These were put in during major renovation works last year) Unfortunately the modules had been incorrectly installed originally. Following the quick installation of the ceiling lights, and troubleshooting the dimmers, Chip went away, spoke numerous times with the company that produced the modules and returned with a solution, fixing all 5 amp lamps, along with even fixing a ceiling light on a dimmer we were previously told didn't dim due to the bulbs we had. Folk electricals are extremely friendly, clean and professional and I would highly recommend to whomever is looking for a quality electrician.
Recently fitted my kitchen lights, moved and added some extra sockets & appliances in my kitchen. Lovely bloke, no mess or hassle. Turned up when he said he would and no hidden extra costs. Thanks Chip.
