Excellent service from Nick at ESS Technical Services. I needed an EICR for a holiday let to ensure compliance and safety, and Nick also installed an EV car charger at the property. He carried out the work thoroughly and sent the certificate over the exact same day, which meant I could pass it straight to my management agent without any delays. Reliable, efficient, and great service all around!

Nick did an excellent job installing power to our garage. He completed the work quickly and to the highest standard. He was extremely accommodating, connecting the circuit while my wife was working from home and taking care of plants while laying the cable to the garage. I have recommended him to many of my friends who have all been impressed with his work.

Nick is very helpful, no request is too small. He was super responsive and visited the site to quote for a fire alarm quickly. His prices are competitive and he took a lot of time to explain things and to make sure everything was all agreed upon. Really top notch service. Thank you!

We returned home after a few days away to find we had no electricity. The worries and stresses of having to relocate ourselves and 2 young children immediately, was somewhat eased when we got in touch with Nick @ ESS. He assessed the problem and expedited the repairs so that we could get our young ones home. Sean was reassuring and did a great job carrying out the works. As we weren’t home at the time, he also checked the appliances were working and put things back in the fridge once it had restarted. What could have been a protracted problem was resolved in a relatively quick time. A very professional, and reassuring team, who recognised the situation warranted attention, and got us home quickly. Very impressed with their work and would recommend to anyone.

Lack of communication and response to my emails.

What a great team! Nick was so responsive, polite and incredibly helpful. An appointment was scheduled swiftly and all electrical issues were resolved brilliantly, Tobie and Billy were excellent & apart from all light fittings working as hoped, I’d never have known they’d were there if I’d not seen them for myself, they were so tidy & respectful too! Really happy with the work completed and Nick and the team were really reliable, polite, helpful and did a great job replacing the consumer unit and completing the EICR check and report. ESSTS carried out an electrical safety check at my home and they were perfect from start to finish. Communication with Nick was excellent — he was very accommodating when I needed an early appointment before work. Although the booking was for 8am, I didn’t want to disrupt my son, who has autism, during the school run. Billy and Toby kindly waited in the car until I had left, which I really appreciated. I truly value businesses that are considerate of special needs, and ESSTS is definitely one of them. Billy and Toby were absolutely lovely, professional, and got straight on with the job. Two of the nicest electricians you could meet! I’m really glad I booked ESSTS and will definitely use them again in the future.

The ESS team are pleasant to deal with. They are thorough and the quality of their work is good. It can occasionally take some time to receive a reply to messages, but once we do they are responsive in sending someone over. We are happy to recommend ESS.

ESS technical services did some work to modernise the electrical supply for 3 flats in a converted townhouse. The overall experience and quality of the work was exceptional. Communication with Nick was great, he was super clear and transparent with the quote and handled the communication with UKPN for us. Tobie and Billy, who did the work, were very professional, making sure power was off for minimal amount of time and working around the jobs complications efficiently. When we sold our house we noticed some problems on our last Electrical service which needed fixing before a survey I contacted Nick and he was able to come out urgently and confirm the issues. He could see this was an urgent matter and was able to organise the work that needed to be done and organise it to start a few days later, complete with all new certificates. I can’t rate them enough the work was impeccable. Sean and Connor were amazing they managed to fix all the problems and got all the new equipment in a days work while being highly respectful and updating of any problems and trying to keep power running where possible
