This is the second time I’m using dgs ltd. Everything from the communication to response times and engineer visit was quick, efficient and pain free. Very pleased customer.
I can fully recommend Direct Group Services for all electrical work. I’ve used them twice now: once for a commercial premises to install emergency lighting (where Levi did a great job), and more recently for an EICR check. Darren carried out the inspection and quickly rectified a few minor issues. Both electricians were very tidy workers. 10 out of 10
The job was to combine two older consumer units it to a new one and position it away from the main fuse so that a smart meter could easily be installed. I dealt with Jordan over the phone for the quote and Darren installed and tested new consumer unit. Great work done. The final invoice was as expected. It was a pleasure to deal with District Group Services LTD. I would definitely recommend and use again.
District Group Services installed a new fuse box and resolved an issue with the earthing Communication was clear and prompt, they turned up exactly when they said they would, the work was carried out efficiently and effectively,, everything was explained clearly along the way. They were also very professional leaving everything clean and tidy afterwards. Overall, a reliable and well-run service that I’d be happy to use again and recommend to others.
Darren came to our house to change some lights throughout the house. He did a great job, quicker than we expected and he left the place clean and tidy. We’ve used District Group a few times now and would definitely recommend!

I asked DSG to come after one of my sockets exploded. They were able to come the day after I called them and thankfully it was only a faulty socket rather than a circuit problem. Charlie talked me through his fault finding and I was reassured. It was only a small job but I was impressed and will definitely contact them again if I need an electrician.

We needed an EICR certificate and found District Group Services Ltd, on Checkatrade. Seeing 107 five-star reviews was amazing, and now we know why. From the start, the communication was amazingly fast, genuine and transparent—big shoutout to Jordan for making everything easy and keeping the prices totally reasonable. Then, we met the star, LEVI. He was brilliant and fixed all our electrical issues perfectly. Best part -Zero hidden charges! Everything was done in the friendliest, most professional way possible. We are absolutely thrilled and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to everyone.
These guys are top notch. Very fairly priced for the basic service. Everything was smooth, from the booking till the end. Jordan over phone was fantastic, able to navigate through requests and availability with kindness. They even helped me switch the slots when I had something emergent happen. Can't remember the name of the person who came for the job (my bad!) but he was brilliant, very respectful, explains everything, etc. I am bookmarking this page for future use!
Their workman rocked up on a quiet residential street pre 8am, before proceeding to blast his radio full volume for an hour-plus, and idled his vehicle the entire time. He also parked himself in an unregulated space, blocking other cars from getting out. Not the brightest spark on several fronts.
Levi showed up and performed. Quality work with attentional to detail, no short cuts taken especially when he fed the wirong through the ceiling. Wouldn't hesitate recommending the company as Jordan also attended on one of the days and he was just as professional, courteous and friendly as Levi.
District Group Services was very quick to reply to my query online and provided me with a reasonable quote promptly. They were able to give me an appointment straightaway. Darren (the engineer) arrived at the agreed time, was very polite, friendly and professional. He moved a coupe of spotlights and fixed other lighting problems in the bathrooms. He cleaned up after the job was done. We would definitely recommend District Group Services and Darren.
Levi was absolutely fantastic. He was diligent to re-investigate the issue i had with my intercom, found the source of the problem and resolved it quickly, saving the need for a complete building rewire and new system installation that had been initially planned. He was polite and cheerful throughout and was thorough with testing everything was working as it should as well as leaving everything neatly fitted and presented tidily. I absolutely recommend District Group and will use them again in future.
Great team, good value and fantastic results. We used District for our whole house renovation. They were fantastic throughout, sensible on pricing, top quality results and pragmatic at finding good solutions. They were happy to pick up additional work mid job without charging an arm and a leg to do so and were a critical part of getting the renovation done. They also were a great interface between the main builders and plumbers and often took on the works that fell between teams to get the job done. Couldn't recommend them enough.

Jordan completed a full inspection on the electrics of a property that we are hoping to buy. The job was completed quickly with a thorough and detailed reported provided soon after, which was also clearly explained to me over the phone. Jordan’s communication was punctual, professional and friendly. We will be using him to complete all the suggested work and again in the future for any other work needed.
