Our relatively new fuse board's main RCD switch kept tripping. We obviously had an intermittent fault somewhere, but despite usual checks - appliances, plugs etc., found nothing obvious. Didn't know a reliable, qualified electrician, and not a fan of Checkatrade, so searched on local social media, and found Sean Griffin. After a phone call an appointment was made, and Sean arrived bang on time. Sean's affable personality, and willingness to explain the checklist of procedures he was carrying out, quickly made me feel we were in safe hands, and that proved to be right. His charges are very competitive, and we will definitely be using his company again, soon I hope, to update some lighting and to update our system's certification.
Excellent service from Sean! He responded promptly to our call and quickly diagnosed the issue. Returned with his great and lovely team to complete the repairs, tests, and inspections to a high standard. There was a lot to do but they worked at a very good pace. Kept us informed throughout and answered all our questions thoroughly. Professional, efficient, and great communication. Highly recommend!

Sean and Jorja are a heart warming dad and daughter team that recently completed a series of remedial works (bonding, fusebox replacement, thorough checks and corrections on circuits, switches and fittings) for our home and we're really pleased with the results. They're very skillful, efficient (completed the work ahead of estimated time), communicative, practical and great at suggesting several solutions and helping choose the best one for our case, I would trust them with any electrical works. Equally important is that they're genuinely friendly and respectful people that treated our home as their own, left the place in a super clean status after they finish. They even went out of their way to repair the damage left by the previous electrician and helped us receive deliveries which we really appreciate! Very fair price too. Would highly recommend them to anyone in need.

What a different experience when you meet an electrician who is a professional and takes pride in his work. Sean is a gentleman, no smoke and mirrors. Patient enough to talk you through what needs to be done and why. In an anxious time preparing my home for sale Sean was so reassuring, the work was completed on schedule and very reasonably priced. Sean was called to fix faulty bathroom lighting. He arrived promptly and worked quickly to identify the problems giving clear explanations before refitting the lights. He was polite and friendly, looking at another area and offering his expertise. Would recommend and plan to book him in the future.

Sean is an amazing electrician and an even better person. He is super friendly, understands your vision and does the job with perfection. Although he is very fast(did 2 mains powered camera wiring and 1 mains powered doorbell wiring in 3 hours), he takes his time and is precise with his skills. Him being an Inspector is an added bonus as he understands quality. I highly recommend him for any electrical work you need to have done.

He explained clearly the various official documents he completed afterwards and through his trade organisation informed local authority building control of the upgrade. I don't usually recommend trades people unless I can fully vouch for them. We had many construction issues before engaging with Sean. From the onset we were left assured and his key objective was to make our house safe and complaint (to all the regulations) and I can say he did so with great gratitude from us. The repairs were done and everything was transparent with the charges... We had many fixes done where others could have itemised and charged us a fortune and he stayed late to ensure no corners were cut with the 20 circuit testing.. Price was very competitive and again, he provided us with cost effective solutions (not "short cuts" or "over inflated bells and whistles" approach. Genuinely, very pleased.
