Shocking customer service. Having paid £1,470 + VAT for an Ohme Home Pro EV charger and extra cabling, the installation was done well but due to a time constraint it never got commissioned and consequently does not work with the features advertised. Take charge consistently refuses to send an engineer to complete the commissioning, ignores calls and emails to try and resolve the matter which has been going on for almost 2 years now.
Take Charge have been very helpful and professional throughout the whole process. Keen to help me with my requirements, a good quote, and excellent installation. All round great experience.
Had an Ohme ePod fitted by Take Charge this week and they have been brilliant from start to finish. First Bridget was on hand to answer all my questions and give advice on choosing the right product. I decided to use them based on the quality of the first couple of calls with her. She managed to book in a fitter for the same week. Eugene came to fit the unit and he dealt with my dad as I was at work. My dad loves a natter and Eugene duly obliged, whilst getting on with his work diligently. He was very impressed with Eugene’s work, as was I. It has been neatly fitted in exactly the location we requested. After testing the unit myself I realised it was not working to full capacity so after E-mailing them, both Eugene and Bridget promptly made a visit to fix the issue. Eugene explained everything to me on the phone and was very professional and has very good interpersonal skills, which is not always the case with tradespeople! Many thanks to Bridget and Eugene for such good service, especially for explaining everything to me and putting up with my calls and E-mails. Highly recommended
Superb service. From start to finish Take Charge were fantastic. Bridget was incredibly helpful, discussing the charger options and specifics in terms of where and how the charger could be placed during initial conversation, particularly as my location was not straightforward. Paul who installed it was brilliant and his work was of the highest quality. I needed my charger to be situated on a post and he was able to route the cable from my house so it was completely unobtrusive and couldn't be seen. And whenever I had any questions it was always easy to call and speak to Bridget directly. Very quick as well, less than 2 weeks from my initial enquiry my charger was installed. Both Paul and Bridget were lovely and I cannot recommend Take Charge highly enough.
Nice and easy! Bridget was helpful and informative from the outset, providing information and explaining plainly what was offered and without upselling in the slightest. After answering some questions and providing pictures of the location, electrics etc. Take charge were able to offer installation dates within a day or two! All was installed within a week and the engineer who installed was quick, efficient and respectful of our lack of knowledge of where to install the charger and not fazed by the building work going on at my house. Install was done in a couple of hours. Happy customer!

Called for a quote to supply and fit a Ohme Home Pro, I had a couple of questions regarding the routing of the cable. Bridget was friendly & helpful, I received a competitive quote and was surprised they could book the installation for the following week. The engineer Paul turned up on time and completed the work to a high standard. Based on today's experience I would have no hesitation in recommending them for your ev charger installation.

Take Charge were referred by generic website EV Bug. Octopus were quoting a 10 week wait for an EV install but these guys turned it around in less than a week. Friendly and professional Comms with head office plus a hard working and knowledgeable electrician who did the install for only one cup of coffee 😊. All up and running, and the Zappi recognised by Octopus, in less than a day. Competitive price. Unreservedly recommended.

Take Charge were recommended by a neighbour for for the great service they offered… I was so impressed with the customer service from the initial calls (with Bridget) to the installation. Rob (installer) was so accommodating. He explained everything so clearly and offered suggestions on the best placement for the Easee charge point for which I changed the position based on the recommendation!!! Great workmanship, tidy & clean. Can’t speak highly enough of the service. Very impressed and would hands down recommend to anyone!

Great company to deal with. Bridget is extremely helpful and friendly. The installation of my charger was not easy due to the distance betwen the supply and the drive way and the restrictive access to the electricity meter box however it was dealt with efficiently and with care. Paul, the installer, was very courteous and hard working.
I chose Take Charge because Bridget was the first person I could speak to as opposed to having to send an email and wait for a reply. She was able to answer all my questions and impressed me with her knowledge. I was aware that it was a small company but I took a chance on instinct. I was not disappointed in any way. The wall charger that I purchased was very neat and competitively priced. Bridget kept me updated on the delivery of the specific unit I wanted as it wasn't in stock. The electrician, Paul, turned up on time, was polite and efficient and made an excellent job of putting the charger exactly where I wanted it.. After installation there was a problem with the rubber cover on the unit which was dealt with quickly. Bridget returned the government grant promptly. I would recommend Take Charge to anyone who appreciates a personal, efficient service, I am very pleased with everything.
I had spent a few days phoning around just to get information and understanding of the different chargers out there finally came across take charge. They made me fill confident about the job and I was not disappointed.
