I have been shopping at A&A for many years. They carry an impressive range of large and small electrical items and no matter how obscure an item I am looking for, they invariably have it in stock.
Waited 20 mins for someone to serve in the counter , 10 staff walked pass completely ignoring the customers saying they don’t work in the counter. Dont waste your time going to this shop.
Needed 2 metres of bell wire to fit video doorbell. They just cut whatever amount you need ,which is far better than Screwfix or B&Q , where you need to pay £7 or more for 50 metres ,most of which will never get used again.Staff are knowledgeable ,helpful and friendly as well.

Awesome and utterly insane
Don’t buy there, they selling fuseboard for £140 which is cost £80 in Screwfix. It’s not wholesaler it’s a gipsy camp.

5 Star Company long before Google was even around. I've used A & A for over 15 years through 3 different companies and ive never had any issues like some of the negative reviews mention. My first choice when i need to order Lift service items and certain parts. New online cataloue is much better as well with the sections marked out. saves having to look through whold pdf.

I've been in this business over 40 years and charging 55 quid for a tin box with a mains switch in it is taking the piss
Enough is enough! This is a nightmare for even the simplest items. Even if you go to buy a simple light bulb they keep you there for ages tapping away at their computer. Then they leave you there while they collect your invoice from the printer which is at one end of the store, then they come back and leave again to disappear up the other end of the building into the back office to take the money to where ever the money is kept, then they come back with your change. It's even worse when you return something, as there are even more forms to fill out and more tapping to do on the computer. They only want large accounts and business from lift engineers and they have stopped opening on Saturdays so normal people can't bother them with small purchases. You're better off driving to B&Q. The management don't even trust the staff to have even one till in the showroom to speed things up a bit. I must say that all the counter staff are excellent so it's obviously management systems that let the business down.
Disgraceful service. Gave me the wrong part and still wouldn't refund it. There was one fat bald fella who gave me the dirtiest look ever (possibly racist). Wouldn't recommend it ever!

Really disappointed with the interrogation when returning a 3 day old order original boxed with receipt have used this company for years spending a lot of money to be confronted with a sour faced sales person. Will be taking our business elsewhere in future
