Ahmed and his buddy came and fit a ohme pro ev charger. Process was quick and they informed me the steps they were going to take and once it was completed helped me set up and understand the app. Highly recommend!

Great service, explained all the detail prior to booking answering all of my questions. Arrived on time, was only here a couple of hours , explained everything, helped me get the app up and running. Not paid for any electric since it was installed, so glad we got the battery installed.
Solar panel and battery installation. We had an excellent experience with Yorkshire Automation. Very professional and knowledgeable from first point of contact to completion. Due to the shape of our bungalow, the complexity of siting 28 panels over 4 East/West facing roofs, meant a hybrid system was the way to go. Ahmer worked it all out brilliantly to maximise charging to both batteries throughout the day. We couldn’t believe how hard Ahmer and Ejaz worked, yet still had the time and patience to stop and explain their progress and next steps when we asked. They treated our property with care and left the site clean and tidy on completion. Ahmer sat down with us and explained how the system works, and how to use the app to see what was happening, in great detail, answering our many questions as complete newbies to solar power. We highly recommend Yorkshire Automation for all your solar needs. They are a fantastic company!

I contacted a number of companies for solar panels on my garage and batteries to compliment by existing FIT system. Had a number of visits and it was as the they did not listen to what I wanted but wanted to sell me what they thought I should have. It was like a breath of fresh air talking to Ahmer at Yorkshire Automation, he went over various options with me and after exchange a few emails and me providing him with photos came up with a proposed system that met my needs. I had 8 panels , on garage roof with an output of around 3.8kW with a bank of 4 batteries capable of storing up to 12.8Kw Ahmer and his team arrive very in the morning to carry out the installation which took all day. Ahmer is very knowledgeable and explained the process and how the system would work. He took time out to help me load the app so I could see how the system was performing

Ahmer fitted a new Green Lynx battery to go with the two I already have. He explained how he was going to do the job and got on with it. He pointed out that the existing batteries had not been fitted with dongles so they could be monitored by the manufacturer. He set them up once I had found the dongles. Really helpful guy, and great price

Having contacted a few other companies who gave differing advice and prices, I found Ahmer to be exceptionally knowledgeable, professional and very competitively priced. He visited my property on a few occasions at my request and no question was too much trouble for him. The job was completed efficiently, tidied up afterwards, app downloaded and paperwork received via email the same day. Ahmer and his business are first class. Everything from start to finish is communicated brilliantly. Whatever he promises happens like clockwork. I found his company via an MCS list provided by Octopus and got quotes from 3 local businesses. Ahmer just shone on knowledge and competency but then to my surprise his price was also the best and the equipment was all top quality with great warranties. I ended up using him not just for batteries but a solar system on my garage (to save VAT), an EV Ohme as he was cheaper than Octopus and an iBoost for my hot water. I found out about no VAT on solar installations from a national company who quoted £3k more for batteries and solar. They looked at Ahmer’s quote, specifications and online reviews and said you should use him. I did and am so pleased. All installed on a Saturday with no problems and he showed me how to set up every App I needed. His team even replaced a few of my broken roof tiles and left me 4 spare ones, took all their rubbish away and swept up. Brilliant like I said don’t hesitate to use Ahmer and Yorkshire Automation for your solar, batteries or EV chargers. 10 out of 10.
Ahmer was the only company to actually come and talk to me at my home and go through the whole process with me from start to finish. Others were just over the phone. His prices were better than the other quotes. He arrived when we booked him in and was finished well within the timeframe he gave. Just spent three days with Yorkshire Automation doing a full fresh installation of my home automation system and couldn’t be happier with any aspect of the service or the products. Ahmer was polite, helpful, knowledgeable, courteous and incredibly easy to get along with, given the amount of time spent in his company. I don’t think I can think of a single area where any aspect of the experience could be improved. No request was too much trouble and the man seems to have infinite patience! Ahmer was great. He spoke to us out of hours in the evening to help diagnose the fault remotely (which he did correctly, saving us a call out fee) and then fitted the replacement equipment within a week. Highly recommended.

Ahmer @ Yorkshire Automation fitted a MyEnergi Zappi charger for me - really knowledgable, and super reliable, fitted at a competitive price. Will definitely be using again and recommending to friends. Excellent post sales too, with the building regs' compliance notice coming through very quickly.
Dealing with Yorkshire Automation was a breeze. Got lots of advice on the solar PV system. Ahmer went over and above to ensure I was clear on options and was very patient with my constant flip flopping on which system set up to go for. Prices are also competitive which is great (I got lots of quotes to compare). I'd definitely recommend and reuse to upgrade my system.
I shortlisted eight different solar installers before choosing to go with Yorkshire Automation. What sold it for me was Ahmer's time and care in surveying my property (taking real measurements), his focus on discussing the best technical options, and his quickness to answer questions after his initial visit - and the quoted price was unbeatable; so much so that I was able stretch my budget for an extra seven panels to cover a second roof area. Ahmer arranged everything to be delivered the week after I ordered, and all deliveries except one turned up when expected. For the delayed delivery, Ahmer let me know beforehand so no issues. Scaffolding went up the day before the install, and on install day a team of five turned up at 0830. All 16 panels, batteries, inverter installed in one day; clean up testing, and handover all finished by 1800. Site swept clean, all wiring tidy, and I was left with a tidy (small) pile of cardboard boxes and minimal waste to dispose off. System working from the afternoon of install, and three days in working without a hitch. MCS, NAPIT, RECCs, structural calcs, and all other paperwork now received. Needless to say I am very happy with the standard and speed of work, and Ahmer's responsiveness to answer questions and provide useful tips and advice. I can't recommend Yorkshire Automation highly enough.

Excellent service and compared to other companies very reasonably priced. Yes there are other main stream companies out there with similar types of o products but I would say this is the Ferrari of automation so don't be fooled by the cheaper ones. I have full voice control over everything in my house from the lights, blinds, heating, Sonos speakers, cinema room, house alarm, garage doors, to my electric garden gates and much more all thanks to Yorkshire Automation. I can’t recommend Yorkshire Automation highly enough. Firstly they spend time producing good videos on YouTube which shows their commitment to helping/advising people. This is the 3rd or forth time I've used Yorkshire Home Automation. Each time he has been on time, within the quote and no issues with the work. So far I've had CCTV, Alarm and most recently home car charger installed.

I have been an home automation enthusiast for many years. There comes a point though, unless you have time to and are able to, that you can't take it further without learning really complicated stuff, such as coding and programming. I need extra help with my home automation setup. I live in the Channel Islands and finding expert help is impossible. I have been unable to find any expertise on the island. However, that isn't a problem for Ahmer and Yorkshire Automation. He has provided me with loads of support and advice but just does it remotely. We have worked through stuff with ease and he is also a good teacher. We have a massive renovation project commencing this year and I know he will be there to support automating our revamped house. The company should be renamed Yorkshire and Guernsey Automation. :-) Thank you so much Ahmer.
