Spoke to Steve and informed him of the issues and the work I would like doing. He said it wouldn’t be a problem and we agreed a time and date over the phone. 2 days later he never bothered to turn up as agreed, at no point did he inform me he wouldn’t be there. No response to phone calls to chase up where he was. Thankfully I managed to find another company who agreed to come round in the hour and they carried out the work to a brilliant standard. Thanks ever so much for all your help Steve, it was really appreciated If you want to find a reliable electrician this isn’t a company you can rely on. Not only do they not turn up, they also cannot be bothered to let you know beforehand. Great way to treat customers and run a business.

Electrician went to check the electrical wiring in a property I am in the process of buying. He phoned and told me everything I needed to know about the age of the wiring and what needed renewing and what was functional. Very pleased with the work and the speed in which the information was passed to me. Will be using this firm very soon to carry out more electrical work which I need completing. Thanks Steve. I've needed two minor jobs doing in the last year, some light fittings replacing and a double plug socket replacing, both were done really quickly and at a decent price. I wouldn't hesitate to use again.

Absolutely amazing company. Have used them now 3 times and cannot recommend them enough. They have rewired my kitchen, installed new points, sockets and led lights, wired my summerhouse and fitted an outside plug socket. Was recommended them by a friend, who has also used them several times. The owner is very professional and accomodating. The work they have carried out has been of an amazing standard. The electricians are very friendly, tidy and went the extra mile during my summerhouse installation and my kitchen rewire. Cannot recommend them enough, would never use anyone else.

Wouldn't recommend ss electrical. Numerous floorboards broken in an attempt to lift them, rubbish left allover the house and cigarette butts in the garden and they didn't bother to put the underlay back properly.

Turned up early! Did more than was asked and solved all problems!

SS installed a new bathroom fan for me which worked fine originally (although they left a mess after install, including leaving cracks in the ceiling from clumsiness in the loft). Six months later and the fan no longer works. I have asked for SS to return to check whether the fan is faulty but they have stopped replying to my texts. Very disappointed.

What can I say about Steve & his team.Used various times now over the years & always first class.Steve could not be more helpful & easy to get hold of.This latest job I needed a socket moving lower down so our new oven could fit in properly & they didn't disappoint at a very reasonable price.Cannot recommend Steve & his team enough & Steve always goes above & beyond .

can't recommend ss electrical highly enough, 2 hours from my call to completion of the job , right from my inital phone call everybody was helpful, professional & efficient, not to mention friendly !. very competative prices , quote upon enquiry, no hidden costs or suprises , & the job was completed by jason who was professional and friendly throughout, hardwiring of a range cooker , he even set the clock and fully tested everything before leaving. No messing, no rip off just good old fashion service . Thank you !!!!!!!

Great electricians. Always attended. Had the converted garage fully fitted with electrics, car charger moved outside and on a separate occasion fitted me an outside socket in the garden. Would highly recommend. Now my go to electrician.

Absolutely brilliant team. Steve came out initially and gave a quote. Very professional and trustworthy. Two men from his team came to do the work, my partner said they were polite, hardworking and cleaned up afterwards. Arrived on time too. They've done a great job installing a new extractor fan and tidying up the mains board. Personally I thought it was a very good price considering the quality of work and the level of professionalism. Will definitely use again and recommend to friends/family.

Excellent efficient service. Full rewire completed from a group of guys who certainly know their job. This is the second time I have used SS Electrical as I was so impressed by the quality and workmanship from the first job. A first rate professional service combined with a friendly attitude. I contacted the office at 8pm with a house power cut. I was guided through a check over the phone which provided me with 90% power to the property. Steve arrived the next morning at 8:30am quickly completed the repair.

Excellent service, from the initial phone call to the Electrician arriving was efficient. The fault was identified quickly, and even though the works were outside of SS Electricals scope, the Electrician called Northern Power on our behalf to arrange emergency repairs. Overall, I would highly recommend and would certainly use their services again.

Very good service. Some people will not do work at my flat as there is no parking, however Steve parked 15 mins walk away in a car park and carried his equipment through town to do the work. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!

Steve and his team of chaps did a fantastic job. From coming to quote for the work and carry out an EIRC Inspection, to coming later on and carrying out the planned work. Professional, courteous, clean and tidy and got on with the job in less time than expected by ensuring more bodies were on it than originally planned. Meaning our home was out of action for one third of the time we expected. The work was carried out to a high standard and Steve was very quick to issue the EIRC Pass Certificate and register the works with local building control to ensure our required Part P certificates for the sale of the home, without which we wouldn’t have done. We were able to leave our home in the teams care and trust was never an issue. Honesty and dedication are rare in most workmen, but not with these chaps. Even rang us when they had finished the work and waited for us to return home, unlike a previous electrician living in Shadwell. Thanks to Steve, Jason and all at SSElectrical (Leeds) for a great job and for exceptional aftercare. It’s true that you get what you pay for.

Steve and his colleague did a great job of fitting two new electric radiators for us. They also dismantled and disposed of our old (very heavy) storage heaters. They were on time, polite and friendly, fast workers and cleaned up the dust from the work afterwards. Plus, Steve always gets back to us quickly whenever we call/message!

I would recommend SS Electrical i have a full electrical rewire of the house. Steve carried out two visits prior to starting the work, an original assessment of the house and the work involved and costs. Then a second visit in the few days before the work was due to start to ensure we were both agreed on placement of new switches and light fittings etc. The work was then carried out while i was away, the team were respectful of the house and left it as expected after such a large amount of work. There was the obvious dust but thats expected and everything that could be cleared up by the team was
