Finding a fault on your boiler during winter is a huge worry for any family. I was recommended Kristian by a friend and he was great! He came out on a Sunday and then ordered parts and completed the job the next day. Very friendly and professional! Kristian showed me videos of the work he carried out and the broken parts. He even gave me a small heater to help keep the house warm. Lovely guy and such a relief the job was fixed so quickly.

Kristian turned out late at night when I had no electrical sockets working. He diagnosed the problem rapidly and although he couldn't fix the major problem that night, he did get power to enough sockets to keep all essential appliances working.

Our boiler has been on its last legs for a while now and it finally ‘died’ a couple of weekends ago. This was on a Sunday morning. We contacted Kristian and he came round later in the day to have a look at it. (Sunday visit!!!) Thank you so much! As you can see in our previous comments Kristian has dealt with our gas/plumbing problems and services over the past 12 years and we rate him extremely highly. On this occasion Kristian was (as always) very practical and helpful and talked us through all the options for a replacement boiler. He also suggested alternative places for the boiler if we wanted to reposition it. The work was completed very quickly with minimal mess and we are extremely pleased with our new boiler. The price was very reasonable as well. Kristian is totally reliable and trustworthy and does a great job. I would thoroughly recommend him.

I desperately needed a gas engineer to connect my gas hob after my energy provider engineer disconnected.I stumbled across Local Gas Service,I dealt with a guy called Kristian.He requested for relevant information before agreeing to do the job which gave me a lot of reassurance as I am very wary when it comes to gas. He was very polite and he even fixed one of my stove burners that was clogged up and hadn’t used it for more than 4 years aswell as connecting the cooker.The payment process was very professional considering it wasn’t a job that was booked in advance.I will definitely contact this company in future and refer to friends and family. Price was also very reasonable

Came at short notice to fix a poorly installed radiator from a different plumber, disconnect a gas hob and disconnect some taps and put iso's on them. Professional, quick and friendly. Have other jobs lined up for Kristian as this house flip continues. Good quality work, discusses options as we go.
Asked for a quote for a gas cooker removing, told me £150 plus parts. Absolutely ridiculous. Had 2 other quotes to do the same job both coming in at £45 and £75. I understand peoples prices vary but this is ridiculous.😂🤮 poor effort Kristian.

He took the time to consult with us regarding our old & complicated system to come up with the best heating solution. He never tried to 'sell' us anything, just explained things thoroughly so you can make the best decision. He is also a qualified electrician so can use those skills to achieve a professional & safe standard. Had an intergas combi boiler installed at my property, Kristian was superb in the way he carried out his work, removed the old system and installed a new system which I can now control with my phone.. TL;DR: Prompt, clean and polite gas engineer for an unusual request. Highly recommended. We found Kristian after a quick search online and they were quick to reply. We had a squirrel fall behind our fireplace and we needed a gas engineer to take the fireplace off so we could retrieve it. Within 2-3 hours of when we first contacted them, they arrived (and even called us to let us know that they were coming!). They helped us get prepared to grab the squirrel too. You wouldn't even have known they were here since they left the fireplace (and area around it) cleaner than when they arrived. I highly recommend them and would use them again.
I had some repairs carried out by Local Gas Services recently. Kristian was courteous and very helpful throughout. He arranged to call in to my property at a convenient time. His workmanship is of a very high quality. I was able to get my boiler repaired as well as water pipe leak and a toilet leak repaired. I was satisfied with the quality of work carried out and I’d be delighted to recommend this business to friends and family.

We ran into trouble with some shoddy workmanship on our living flame gas fire and were looking at a replacement at £1k ++. In a last ditch attempt, we tried Kristian at Local Gas Services and he was amazing. He fixed all the problems, clearly explained all the faults. It's like new and at a fraction of what we had expected to pay. He also gave our boiler a free once over. We'll be cancelling our central heating maintenance contract when it's next up for renewal! Cannot recommend highly enough. A tradesman you can trust!

We had an emergency call out for a gas leak on the weekend. Very professional and very friendly service. I'd highly recommend.
Got up this morning and found damage to copper piping(stolen) which prevented gas flow. Looked on the net and contacted Local gas services who were based locally. Luckily Kristian explained that he was coming over to the area and would call to see me. I explained the circumstances and he gave me an estimate to fix the damage. On his arrival shortly afterwards it was pouring down and I wasn't confident it could be fixed. It stopped raining soon afterwards and he immediately got on with the job. He checked our gas boiler and went further by checking our gas appliances in both kitchen and lounge. He did an all round great job. Pity this cannot be said of all professionals. Thanks very much Kristian for your immediate response. All gas jobs and similar will now be passed to Kristian. Do not know why I pay CORGI ! Cancelling them today Kristian charged me less than his quote. Very Happy.

We used Local Gas Services when our boiler displayed stopped working and displayed E5 error code. After realising the boiler wasn’t worth repairing, Kristian was extremely helpful in helping us to choose the right boiler for our needs - he talked through every aspect of various makes and models, looking through brochures with us, explaining the various pro and cons of each one. The installation was top quality - quick and neat, just as promised. Every Covid precaution was taken throughout, from initial call out, installation and aftercare visit. I had Kristian recommended and he was great, we will use him again. Our vaillant boiler had broke down that morning (18 Feb 21) and he made it to our house in the afternoon. He identified the problem and he fixed it so we had hot water and central heating back that same day. He did this in the cold with our garage door wide open due to location of the boiler - others may have given up. Absolute lifesaver, thank you Kristian - first class.

I found Local Gas services through a google search. I was impressed with the reviews so I gave them a call. Although my boiler has seen better days I really appreciated the options that Kristian offered. At first we thought that trying to get the boiler fixed was the best and more importantly cheaper option, just to get us through the winter. However we knew in the long run that replacing the boiler of 19 years old was the better choice. Kristian is extremely knowledgeable and explained things simplistically, giving us lots of important information, so we could make a proper informed decision. I was so thankful that he was sympathetic to our financial situation and supported us towards getting the best deal at an affordable price. Due to unforeseen circumstances Kristian was not able to fit our boiler but he provided us with his colleague Kevin who was brilliant!. He was calm and conscientious and also very knowledgeable. Instead of just pointing us to the manual he was also very patient when explaining how to work with boiler and to set the timings to suit our family needs. He also left the place very tidy. I would have no hesitation in recommending Kristian and his team. I feel really lucky to have found a genuine and professional company and that the job was done so quickly and efficiently. Found Kristians details in Google search and so pleased that I did! Initially all I was wanting was a boiler service and a repair to the pressure hose. What he actually found was a number of faults which resulted in the boiler being condemned on safety issues. Within a couple of days Kristian provided me with a very competitive quote for a new boiler rather than keep throwing money on repairs to a unreliable 14 year old boiler. The work was carried out quickly and efficiently to a very high standard and I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting an honest, reliable tradesman who offers a competitive price and top workmanship. First time the other year when we had first contacted him regarding boiler servicing and our worry about carbon monoxide, in which Kristian was very helpful asking us many questions to help. Which he then believed that there wasn't any carbon monoxide leaking with us having a alarm and all the questions he asked but was more than happy to come and check it out to service it that afternoon if we still wanted him to. He came around and was very friendly talking about family, music and was very professional went through many details of what he was doing and the different parts of the service. On his more recent visit this year again was very professional and friendly as usual asking about our little boy and gigs etc. He took his time to help look into a issue of potential leak because of pressure dropping in which he discussed all what he was doing and what may potentially need doing if the problem wasn't solved after the service in which after that it seems the issue has been ok now. When your boiler stops working just when the weather gets cold, your wife and children are cold and there's no water for showers or washing life can get pretty stressful. Looking down the barrel of a four figure bill for a new boiler doesn't relieve the stress! Kristian came out to look at our boiler at very short notice and working around his other job commitments to help us get up and running again. He is an excellent engineer and really understands the technical complexities of boiler workings, in order to diagnose the faults and repair the boiler where others with less technical knowledge suggested the easy option to "replace". First class service from an honest, trustworthy and very knowledgeable company.
