After the recent heatwaves, being hot and grumpy all the time, we agreed that getting air conditioning was going to be essential for quality of life. I've had boilers installed by Ian's team at Northern Heatlink in the past, so I knew this was the company to trust with the big complicated job of installing a "air-to-air heat pump" (ie heating AND air conditioning, all in one). I got a couple of other quotations from companies I didn't know- which were both substantially more than NH. Sure enough, Northern Heatlink were superb. Billy and his installation team were utterly fantastic. Great blokes, easy to chat to, and they worked SO HARD to get the job done within 2 days. What an absolutely professional team, knew just what they were doing, cracked on the moment they arrived, they've clearly got an optimised work system to get things done. I was really impressed. Once more, it's a company that I was happy to trust, and they did an excellent job. It's now a pleasure to press a button on a remote control and see the temperature in our loft bedroom plunge within minutes. Thanks Ian and Billy and Northern Heatlink team!

Another excellent job from Northern Heatlink - Engineer arrived on time, did what needed to be done and completed our annual service which is very competitively priced. Communication wit tis company is always a breeze. You quickly both get through to an actual person who sorts you out and they also send out all confirmations etc by email in record time.

Northern Heatlink have a high standard of customer service- they followed up when an issue with our Heat Pump (not installed by them) affected the heated floor they had laid for us. Communication was good, work was completed quickly and I was really impressed by the staff member who handled their phonecalls- really professional and reassuring attention to detail. Im a local builder and have been in the trade for 55 years . I used to use subcontractors for all trades and whittled them all down until I was left with the most efficient and loyal team players. From groundwokers , bricklayers,joiners,plasterers sparkies plumbers and all the rest you need from start to finish building projects. I still use Northern Heatlink now for all my heating and plumbing. Ian and Simon have done the same as I have and built up a very good and loyal team. They will always be my first to go to for their trade and I will wait until they can fit me in. It's worth it. Highly recommend them. Regards to them all and thank you for everything over the years. Northern Heatlink came out to service our boiler and advised us it was no longer economical and would need replacing. The technician completed the report and let the office know, we gave the go ahead to have a new boiler fitted and this was arranged and completed very quickly. I’ve been using Northern Heatlink to service my Vaillant Arotherm air source heat pump, boiler and underfloor heating system. They’ve been reliable and professional throughout. If I call with a question that isn’t straight forward, I am met with kindness and the promise of a call back or for me to email in detail - including photos or videos to get to the problem quickly. I always get a quick response. They are prompt on visits, respectful of my property, kind to my dog and keep me informed about what’s happening! I don’t feel pressured into unnecessary work; instead, they help me prioritise what needs doing and when, with clear quotes with options. This week (minus 6 degrees), I had an issue with my air source heat pump due to the cold weather, and they responded quickly. Ian called me back immediately and sent his team to the rescue! A new boiler was installed for me. From the initial diagnosis of the issue with the original boiler to the new installation, the service was professional, honest, efficient and hassle-free. The engineer arrived on time, starting the job immediately, working from 08:30 to 15:45 with only a 30 minute break. The workmanship was excellent, I couldn’t believe how little noise was made during the removal of the old boiler and installation of the new one. Harry, then cleaned up after the installation, leaving no mess whatsoever. Overall, the service was outstanding, the price was competitive and fair. I’d highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable and stress-free boiler installation.
I would 100% recommend MCK plumbing and heating/Northern Heatlink. The customer service is outstanding, from talking through all the boilers available to installing my chosen system. The engineers were very respectful, putting down protective measures on my flooring and completely cleaning up after themselves. The aftercare has been fantastic too. This company was recommended to me when my boiler broke down and I am so glad they were. I will be using them for my annual service too and any future plumbing problems without hesitation.

We chose Northern Heatlink because they were recommended to us and they did not disappoint. We were very impressed from start to finish - such a personal yet professional approach from the word go. After having Mike initially to assess the situation (who went above and beyond to try and work out the problem), Simon then phoned to advise us on what we needed - a new boiler. The two workmen arrived on time and worked nonstop. The old boiler was removed and a new boiler was installed in a day as promised. All the rubbish was taken away and everywhere was left so tidy. There was no mess at all. Simon came to see us on the day which was a nice touch and checked that all was well. Alfie gave a thorough demonstration of the digital thermostat and spent time going through it so we understood what to do. We were very impressed with his confident, friendly manner. He was a delight to have in the house. Big boots were taken off every time he came in and nothing was ever too much trouble. Both workmen were highly competent and we were so pleased with the work done. I would have no hesitation in recommending Northern Heatlink . We have used Northern Heatlink since they installed our new boiler 9 years ago. They service our boiler every year and we have always found the engineers to be approachable, friendly and punctual. Unfortunately just recently our boiler broke just as the weather hit -3! And I have to say from dealing with Vicky in the office to speaking with Simon they could not have done more to help us. They went above and beyond what would be expected and for that we are just so grateful. We would not hesitate to recommend Heatlink and their wonderful staff every time.
I have been a customer with Northern Heatlink for nearly 10 years. They have serviced my boiler every year. They are really professional and friendly and have always given me honest advice. They have just replaced my boiler, they were well priced and the amount they quoted, was the exact amount on my invoice. They advised the best boiler and the heating engineer that fitted my boiler was a miracle worker!! The previous owners of my house had boxed the boiler into a cupboard and the engineer managed to take the old boiler out and put the new boiler in along with a filter into the smallest space imaginable without damaging the cupboard or the tile work that surrounds the cupboard. They fitted a new digital thermostat and explained thoroughly how to use it as well as settling it up for me. Really friendly staff. Couldn't recommend them enough!!

Initial boiler installation was customised to my requirements, fitted on time, and at a very reasonable cost. Subsequent annual services carried out at a good price, and on the two occasions I've reported a fault, the repair has been arranged right away. Very happy with the level of service provided by Northern Heatlink, and would recommend them any day.

I am not sure if I can convey in words just how good Simon and his team are. From start (measuring up/discussion) through to Installation and follow up the whole process has been amazing with them. 100% professional and outstanding value for money. Our job wasn't the easiest (relocation of old central heating boiler from original place through to new location with new boiler in the garage) the team just got on with it on the day - they didn't stop at all for lunch. We had three people with us doing the job - Dave, Dan & Alfie and each and everyone of them were brilliant. Extremely polite, very careful with carpets (plastic sheets put down etc) and very, very efficient. Simon as the owner called on the day too to check all OK and called afterwards to check we were happy and YES we were. Can highly recommend and wont use anyone else now for anything "heat" related. Still As Superb As Ever, I had my central heating system installed by Northern Heat Link back in January 2014, I was highly delighted with the customer service, the boiler & radiators. I wrote a " Simply Superb " review at the time, since then the system has had its annual service done every year by them . Today the system has had a maintanance service, Again the service throughout was simply superb, nothing was too much trouble, Must mention Alison Pickwell ( the lady who answers the phone, her charm , knowledge & enthusiasm inspires confidence in the company ) , Stuart Rhodes - Operations Manager, ( what he does not know about heating systems is not worth knowing, his customer service is superb ) Today the 2 engineers David & Ellis who came to my home again they were only one word SUPERB sorry two words SUPERB, SUPERB. I would employ each & every one of the whole team without question, would I use anyone else ? No chance. Sorry Mick, I forgot to mention you. Would I recommend Northern Heat Link Wakefield ?
