Cannot praise Mark & Kyle enough. I Have had trouble with trying to charge my car since 13th March. Mark Spoke to provider & instead of having to Fork Out for another charger of up to £1,000 I now can charge over night at Cheep rate. I highly recommend this company. Nothing Was Too Much trouble,
Marc and his team helped me after another "electrician" completely messed up a job with installing a distribution board. They were extremely professional, fully transparent on what needed to be done and the cost of repair. Communication was great and the MPS team managed to get things fixed very quickly. They went above and beyond, making fixes as they were checking the wiring and correcting everything the previous "electrician" did. At the end I was very happy with the work and service. I would be happy to use MPS Electrical again and would definitely recommend them to others.
Absolutely fantastic, looked after by Mark (MPS) who went above and beyond. Had an emergency problem that Mark attended very quickly to and even came back to assist Northern Power with sorting the issue between them. They're the only electricians I would consider using from now.
3rd time Ive used MPS. Exceedingly prompt service and a great job sorting out the sensor on outside light. Addition of a new secuity light to the back of the house too. All at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend.
Fantastic team - first time I’ve used them and won’t be the last! I was very anxious and worried about losing my electricity, but Marc’s support and help was clearly and calmly communicated - just what I needed. Kyle, who came to do the work, was incredibly helpful and supportive. His determination and hard work to get the problem resolved, was particularly impressive and appreciated. MPS rewired our house and did a fantastic job. Kyle was brilliant, from the first visit he was very professional and answered all our questions. Janine was also extremely helpful throughout the whole process. We couldn't believe how smooth everything went and how clean and tidy our property was at the end of the job. Highly recommend!
We had an issue with our oven's power supply. I called a few other firms, who weren't abailable, before contacting MPS. They provided a very reasonable quote over the phone, came out the next day & had it sorted within an hour. Couldn't recommend enough!
Kyle was on time, efficient, professional and extremely polite. The various electrical jobs that needed doing were completed quickly and cleanly.

Very good sparky, managed to find and clear the fault. Very tidy wiring. First contact by phone and they gave me options to try and cute the issue myself or at least locate the problem to make things quicker. Very recommended
Marc and Aaron diagnosed and fixed the issue with my boiler and water tank system within 24 hours of calling the problem in. Their final quote was also good value. Beforehand, Marc had spent more than half an hour on the phone trying to get the heating back online, for free and without needing a visit - incredibly kind and thorough work. I even got an education on how my specific water system was set up, which I appreciated after only moving in relatively recently!

Just had MPS in to rewire our hose and I cart recommend them highly enough. From our first meeting to discuss what was required were they came up with loads of ideas for things I had not thought about, but at no point did I feel pressured in to them. All in all they protected my house and furniture and all the lads that came were clean polite and hard working and did a great job, I was always kept up to date with what was happening and was nice to have a professional company in who really knew what they were doing. I will definitely be using them again for any electrical work I need.

What a great experience. I called in a panic as my electric had gone off. We talked through on the phone and discovered the issue lay with Northern power grid. They provided the emergency number and even checked in later that day to check if all was resolved. I cannot recommend the service enough and have seabed the number for future projects that need doing in my house. Thank you!

The entire house renovations would not have been completed without the efficiency and quality work provided by the entire MPS team. Marc is very accessible and transparent in regards to works required to make things right. Marc and Janine coordinates the entire project efficiently and got things done on time. Quality work from start to finish. Whether is it from rewiring and electrics or decorating, Kyle and Aaron always do an excellent job. Emergency leakage, or radiators needing fitted, Paul will sort things out. Pristine plastering work you could count on by Kevin and Steve

MPS have been excellent. Rewiring the entire house, plastering the stairs and landing, removing a wall, fitting flooring and a new kitchen involved us moving out for 4 weeks. They kept us informed daily with phone calls, pictures and videos, which was very reassuring and they completed in the estimated time. At the beginning of the job they gave us a detailed quote so we were always aware of costs at each stage. They informed us of issues as they arose allowing us to make informed decisions and made sensible suggestions to future proof our house. Everyone was friendly, helpful and professional. We are delighted with all the work done.

Fantastic service from mps I rang mps late evening, spoke to marc about having electric shower replaced,marc gave me a very good price, marc said he could have it done next day he gave me a time ,Paul turned up bang on time with new shower ,Paul did brilliant job and left work area spotless totally professional service from everyone involved,shower is a massive improvement on old unit ,I would highly recommend mps to anyone ,thanks again to everyone at mps

I had MPS Electrical to undertake my full home rewire with replastering and a deep clean. They weren’t the cheapest but after Marc visited my property and talked through the service they offered I decided to go with them and I’m glad I did. It’s a top end service they offer and whilst I was nervous that I might return to debris, they entire job was undertaken professionally and thoroughly. The only minor issues - more personal preferences rather than errors - were dealt with immediately and without hesitation. Highly recommended

We had a full rewiring done and are very happy with the result. They were very friendly, kept us informed of progress regularly, and took the time to explain the work they were doing. The whole job took under 2 weeks including cleaning, which was quicker than we thought. They also kept the damage to the walls and floors to a minimum, and even sorted out issues with the bathroom vents. We're very pleased with the work and would highly recommend MPS.
Marc did a housebuilder electrical survey for me on a property I was buying (after doing one for the buyer on my property). He was very thorough, responsive, fitting me in at short notice and produced a report which he then talked me through and explained various aspects. He explains things in a way that is easy to understand and what the impact of any issues is. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Marc to anyone else or use him again.
Marc and his colleagues were very helpful and were able to sort problems quickly answering queries almost immediately. Got them to do an electric safety check which I knew would likely fail so got them to rewire the house. They were able to arrange it and complete the work before the 30 day deadline of getting a failed EICR fixed in rental properties. They were accomodating and completed all work within expected timescales despite a number of unexpected setbacks beyond their control and the tenants lifestyle arrangements. Marc went above and beyond to fit the work around a very limited access to the house due to the tenant. All plasterwork was repaired to a high standard, really good job on the plastering, no need to skim the walls after they had been cut to lay the cables. There were a couple of minor issues that required a revisit to correct installation issues during the rewire but they were sorted promptly. Would definitely recommend. They seemed a little on the expensive side compared to other quotes but I think some of the extra expense was due to unforeseen problems that extended the job by a day. Will use again.
I purchased an electrical survey of my property which was carried out by Max. He was a really nice young lad, professional, and explained exactly how long it would all take. I felt like the final report generated was of a high quality too. Props to Max! Cheers, James
Max Turner arrived late and at tea time despite us having been notified that he would be with us 4.30-5pm. When asked why he was late he got confrontational. He has carried out a review of the electrics and has lied in the report that he did not have enough time. He was given free run of the house for approx 2hrs. He has proven himself to be the rudest, hostile and most unpleasant contractor I've ever come across.
MPS Electrical have helped us out twice this year - both services were excellent. They provided promt and comprehensive home purchase surveys and then a couple months later they did a brilliant job replacing our fuse box. Everyone I have talked with from MPS has been very helpful, friendly and professional - couldn't recommend them more!

Excellent service by MPS. I was late to the party getting my Electric Charger fitted for an Electric vehicle before the grants ended. They were on the ball and after calling 5-10 Electricians they were the only one to come up with the goods in a very tight deadline. I would also say that their service and communication was seamless. Aftercare second to none. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in future.

Twice did not show up for scheduled work. Once they actually attended, the quote for a ventilator replacement went up from £670 to £1123. I wouldn't use them.

I was able to fix the issues with my power over the phone with Mark. His instructions were clear and easy to follow and saved me having to pay for a call out.
I called this evening for emergency help as some of my electrics had failed, including the fridge and freezer. The service I received was tremendous. I sent a photograph of the circuit board and they sorted the problem out over the phone. Everything is now working and all my freezer contents saved. I can't thank this company enough for the friendly, helpful service that I received. I was looking for an electrician to fit some new lights for me and I am certainly getting a quote from this company. Will happily use them again.
Excellent service and work, and managed to fit us in at really short notice (which we really really appreciated given that we had no lighting!) I had my old electric shower replaced with a lovely new one, easy to contact, arrange fitting, all done within the space of a few days. Really happy with the work completed, would definitely recommend.
Harris from MPS came out to perform several jobs: install 3 downlights and connect to existing pullswitch in bathroom, install 2 downlights and new switch in bedroom, install 3 new double sockets across top floor and replacing an existing single socket with a double. The work was completed to an exceptional standard within a single day and all work areas were cleaned afterward. The follow-up plaster work was also completed to a very high standard within a few days of the original job. We were very impressed with the professionalism and the cost of the work and will definitely be getting in touch with MPS first for any further electrical work required.
I used MPS to install under floor heating to our conservatory, after a number of email exchanges with them which were always promptly responded to I knew the company would be the correct choice for us.the work was completed quickly and to a high standard with minimal disruption to us. Absolutely phenomenal service received from Mark. It was 1040pm and Mark returned my call as I was in desperate need of help. All of my lights worked but all plug sockets stopped working. He explained he couldn't get out tonight but talked me through the process step by step and solved my problem. What I hadn't told Mark was that I needed my appliances to work ASAP as I'm disabled and needed them. He helped off his own back to get me up and running within 15 minutes. He wouldn't accept any payment or offer of some beers. He's a genuine guy who wants to help. I've now booked him in for more work and will be my go to guy for any future electrical work. Absolutely the best company. Everyone is well skilled and professional. All the work I have requested to be done has been done to an excellent finish. We have had our kitchen completely refitted and needed to use builders, plumbers, plasterers, electricians, joiners, floor screed. MPS have project managed the whole process and kept us informed with dates and times. They are now my go to company for any trades work I need to have as I was super happy with them.
I called MPS to check my gas fire that hadn't been used in years. It wasn't fit for use so once I'd decided I wanted to replace with an electric fire MPS got straight to work arranging for my old gas fire to be safely removed, plaster boarding and plastering the area and fitting my new electric fire and all in time for christmas too as requested. All workers turned up on time and were polite and helpful. Would highly recommend this company to anyone.
After being let down by another electrician and being without full power for over 24 hours Marc came to my rescue! He talked me through step by step what to do over the telephone to solve my problem - which it did and saved me lots of money! He also advised me that if the problem wasn’t solved then they would come out to my property first thing the next day. Very efficient, so helpful and reassuring...highly recommend. I contacted Marc in an emergency when all my kitchen appliances went off. He was immediately able to talk me through what to do over the phone to restore power and was incredibly helpful. Yesterday morning all my electric went off in my house and I was really struggling to find anyone that could help during the Covid-19 pandemic. Marc got back to me really quickly. He was able to help me diagnose the problem over the phone by talking me really easily through the fuse board. He managed to find the route of the issue and get my electric up and running all over the phone! I couldn’t be any happier with the service, he sorted my problem and also saved me an emergency call out fee! Would definitely recommend and will be using again!
I had MPS Electrical fit a large light fitting to my landing and from start to finish the team were professional, did great work and their fitters were both on time and left my house with no work mess at all. We were consulted throughout to ensure we were happy with the work and I would use the team again and would not hesitate to recommend their work.
After phoning around for quotes and having to talk to rude engineers, who clearly had no telephone manner, I was extremely happy to talk to MPS (who I should have called first to begin with). Not only were they polite and professional on the phone, MPS offered the cheapest quote, and were prompt in going out to the property to test the electrics. After going to the property, they phoned me up to give me an update, and put my mind at ease. Would highly recommend and would definitely use their services again
MPS provided a complete house rewire, movement and replacement of fuse box, movement and replacement of sockets, lights and installation of spotlights and a burglar alarm system. They were responsive to my enquiries giving me a detailed breakdown of work required and costs. The first day of the rewire we walked through the house and methodically planned all aspects of the rewire and changes I wanted to the yelectrics and additions I wanted including extractor fan, fuse box moving and outdoor lighting. They then completed the work quickly over the next 10 days and cleaned up after themselves. Any snags we’re dealt with immediately. Overall an excellent experience and would highly recommend MPS for all electrical work.
Marc and his team have provided outstanding customer service. It took a couple of visits to identify the extent of the problems with my hot water system. During this time Marc’s team were thorough and patient in getting to the bottom of the problems. Marc himself was friendly and really helpful, answering any questions and explaining next steps as well as checking that everything was working as it should be after the repairs had been completed. We booked MPS to uninstall a redundant cooker hood and for an up to date Home Electrical Survey; then for a replacement fuse box and to install a regulation-compliant bathroom light as recommended in the survey, and to remove an unwanted wall socket and make good / replaster. All enquiries via email or phone were answered very promptly. Marc, Harrison and Tom did a first class job, and were prompt, efficient and pleasant to deal with. The work was done on time, for the agreed (very reasonable) price, and everything was left clean and tidy. Everything was explained very clearly at the time, and when I had a couple of queries a few weeks afterwards, I emailed MPS, and Marc phoned back immediately to clarify to my complete satisfaction. I would have no hesitation at all in recommending MPS for any domestic electrical work or advice.
We contacted MPS to conduct an electrical survey of our house during the buying process. Marc was very responsive and helpful in explaining the results of the survey and the relative urgency of different issues. We phoned on a couple of occasions to discuss the necessity of the work to make a case for our seller to drop the price. The seller asked for a second opinion which echoed what MPS had told us so we decided to go ahead with a full rewire before moving in. The team were brilliant to work with, we had a walkthrough of the house to identify exactly what we wanted and where and they made really sensible suggestions about the placement of sockets and details like two-way switches by the back door and data points for the office room. We asked Marc to coordinate working with a plasterer as we had three rooms which needed new plaster and a tight timescale to move in. The quality of the finish has exceeded expectations and they were able to dispose of other building waste and old carpets at the same time. At one point we realised our fridge was being delivered while there was a full skip in the drive but the lads lifted it up and over and got it into place like it was no bother, saved us a lot of stress. Marc and the team called any time they came across a detail which needed our input and have come back without charge on a couple of occasions to fix issues identified at the final walkthrough and handover. The peace of mind and convenience of moving into a house which has been fully rewired to our design and specifications is well worth the price. In addition to the quality of work, I can recommend MPS for being so communicative and understanding of our pressures on budget and time.
