MKD Electrical Ltd

Very pleased with prompt, efficient and friendly service. Will always go first to MKD Electrical LTD for advice and quotation for any works.

Both so helpful when my fuse board kept tripping out. James came and did a late evening call out to make sure it was safe for my children and then came back to sign off my board ensuring it was up to standards. So helpful here the phone too. Would 100% use again and recommend.

Really quick response and great communication. Great job, friendly and reliable.

Very happy with mkd. They fitted an ev charger for us and had the best price out of the quotes I got. I asked for a specific charger and that wasn't a problem. Came on time and was speedy and professional.

I had an extra socket fitted and some light fittings swapped, and I couldn't be more pleased. The work was completed efficiently and to a high standard. Communication was excellent from start to finish—clear, prompt, and professional. A genuinely hassle-free experience. Highly recommended!

Booked EICR with 2 weeks notice. I prepared the property and waited several hours. The electrician read my messages but never replied or arrived, and I received no update or reschedule. Very poor communication and unreliable service.

I needed a new cable installing for an electric cooker. The quote was reasonable and the job was done quickly and professionally. I would definitely recommend.

Michael is great - he came to our property following a recent flood in our bathroom that caused our sockets in the house to persistently trip. Michael was incredibly responsive to our calls, arrived earlier than expected and did a brilliant job for us. Would highly recommend Michael for any electrical work!

Friendly and efficient and reasonably priced. I was happy with the work and everything was left tidy afterwards. There was no messing about . They gave me a date and turned up on the correct date and did everything they said they would.

Had an EICR done at very short notice. Good, honest reliable service!

5 Stars – Great Work & Professional Service MKD replaced my EV charger with a new three-phase unit and handled the job quickly and professionally. There were a few configuration issues during setup — likely down to my car rather than the charger — but he went the extra mile to test, troubleshoot, and make sure everything was installed correctly.

A great company, attended on time good work to a high standard. Highly recommended.

Very efficient reply and very quick to come and have a look and sort out the problem. Would highly recommend

We got two sockets fitted in the office room and one switch moving in the garage. All jobs have been done very clean and quick, completed within 2.5 hour! Very happy with it. Also really appreciate Michael came over to check and explain how it could work before booking us in, there were no hidden costs and the quote was reasonable. Will be in touch again if more works coming up in the house.

MKD Electrical provided a fantastic service from start to finish. They installed a new plug and replaced all the sockets and light switch fixtures in my living and dining room, followed by the installation of two light fixtures. They were professional, personable, and completely upfront with costs. Even when I took some time deciding on which light fixtures to go for, they were patient and understanding, and came out promptly once I was ready to finish the job. I’d highly recommend MKD Electrical for any job – big or small.

Michael serviced my Dad’s burglar alarm. He responded quickly to my messages and arrived promptly. Good price too. A***

Michael is a skilled, reliable, hard-working professional who charges reasonably for his electrical work. He did a lot of work for us but did a commendable job installing our mini chandelier, as you can see from the pictures. I would highly recommend Michael for any of your electrical work.

Good service from the start, inspection, and quote were accurate and the work was completed on time and at the agreed cost. Excellent response, quality job and all necessary paperwork completed. Would recommend for anyone needing any Electrical works.

Great service MKD did a long list of electrical modifications including inserting new and replacing old sockets. The work was completed on the day we arranged to a very high standard. We were very pleased with everything they did and would definitely recommend them.

Great service received, oven fitted plus new consumer unit. Friendly, professional, and tidy. Electrical certificate following the work. No hesitation to recommend, many thanks for your work.

Michael did an excellent job installing a car charger for us. It wasn't simple, needing to go up and down a three storey house and through the loft to reach a parking court, but was done safely and efficiently and for a competitive price. Michael took care to ensure the aesthetics were as good as possible. Courteous and good communication throughout. Would definitely use again for a big or small job.

Excellent service, good communication and got the job done in good time. Would use again and highly recommend.

If you need anything electrical don't hesitate to contact this Company. Absolutely fantastic service, very knowledgeable, professional, polite. I was kept informed at all times of arrival time. It is very unusual these days for trades people to communicate. However MKD are different they do communicate and turn up to do the job. Definately my " go to electrician " I've recommended them to my family and friends 🧡

Ran wiring to outside shed with sockets and lighting. Very neat and tidy job. Arrived on time. Polite and friendly. A good job would highly recommend.

Michael was brilliant. Really personable and clearly knows his stuff. He sorted out our lighting in our kitchen and bathroom. He explained everything he was doing, and gave us advice on a few things. Good price and great communication. He’s our new go to Electrician.

Needed some armoured cable connecting from the house to a garden room, some interior plugs adding and removing and lights in the garden. MKD did an amazing job, garden looks lovely at night. Great communication and attendance which I have found to be difficult to get from other electricians. Overall amazing job would highly recommend 😊

We had an excellent experience with Michael at MKD Electrical. He was incredibly professional, responding promptly to our inquiry and arriving exactly on time to both the appointment to assess the job and to the job itself. The work was carried out to an exceptionally high standard, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. We will definitely be using his services again in the future and highly recommend Michael to anyone looking for reliable and top-notch electrical work.

Absolutely impeccable service. Did lots of work for us with sockets, lighting, and solving an upstairs issue with lighting. Lovely chaps and very reliable. Can’t recommend them enough. They are our go-to for anything electrical from now on. Superb.

Very quick and job well done

MKD were brilliant, Mike and James arrived earlier than planned and got to work straight away. Unfortunately there was a rogue cable in the wall we were going through that blew the main fuse but the guys went straight out to the wholesaler to make sure we weren’t left without power and the job was completely that afternoon. Really friendly guys, I’d have them working here again any day.

I had an EV charger fitted with MKD Electicals. Excellent service from start to finish. Very responsive via messages and very organised. The fitting of the EV charger was done within a couple of days of contact and having a quote. The fitting was great quality, the cable was hidden within the ceiling when ran from the fuse box to outside, the job was finished off really tidy so it was barely visible, all boxed in and better than I thought they would be able to make it look. Professional service and really nice guys - couldn’t recommend enough! Thank you.

Great set of lads ,very knowledgeable And explained everything. Cleaned everything up before they left . Highly recommend

MKD Electricals. Michael and James came to do an Electricity safety test/certificate on my property this week. On inspection they found a couple of issues that they were able to rectify for me, the same day. I found them friendly yet proffesional. Their work is excellent and I would highly recommend them.

Had a few jobs taken care of, including outdoor socket, and a new circuit for an induction hob. Great service and was a very tidy finish

I recently hired michael to do some work in my home and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Michael was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. He arrived on time, quickly assessed the issue, and completed the necessary repairs in a timely manner. Not only did michael fix the problem I was having, but he also took the time to explain what caused the issue and how to prevent it in the future. I really appreciated hes attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent service. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the work that he did in my home. We had an emergency boiler issue, I found MKD on Check a Trade! From the first phone call they were so helpful - boiler issue got sorted quickly too! I will definitely be keeping their number for future work! Couldn’t recommend them enough!

Michael is very experienced in all things electrical and I have used him for many different jobs over the years. He is reliable and tidies up after himself giving good advice and options. He has rewired my outside electrics, installed outdoor sockets, lights and an awning. He has fitted the electrics on my hot tub and installed my electric gate. Inside he has replaced sockets and light fittings. He also fitted all the electrics for a new garden room I had built from the old garage. It is hard knowing who to trust these days but I will keep using Michael and hope he never retires 🤞

Michael is exceptionally professional and highly skilled at his job. I have utilized his services for a variety of electrical projects both at my home and my company unit. Recently, he replaced the electrical gate motor and installed a new motherboard at my house, demonstrating his expertise and meticulous attention to detail. I highly recommend Michael to anyone in need of assistance with electric gates. His work is impeccable, and you will not be disappointed

Excellent work. Listened to what specification I wanted and got exact or near to. When there’s a problem, came out same day or next even it’s a weekend. Work carried out in a professional manner.

Absolutely outstanding service from Michael, I can’t recommend him enough. He has looked after my electric gate for four years and I haven’t had any issues with it. I have it serviced every year by Michael and he turns up on time on the agreed date. Also he is very competitive on the price. All in all I have no hesitation in using him again.
